Criticism

Recommended Posts

It is very easy to start criticzing others. Guru Sahib tells us that criticism is in fact a reflection of the evil or the wrong in our ownselfs.

Criticism has a double nature. It can be both postivive and negative

Negative criticism is destructive and harmful

Positive criticism fosters growth and development.

Guru Ji commends that each one of us should aim to cleanse ourselves.

When such a state is attained, we will cease to see evil in everyone. According to Guru Sahib "no one is bad" Bhagat Kabir Ji says that if you really wish to criticize another direct the criticism towards yourself

to explain the meaning of bhagat farid's salok here, guru arjan sahib has added his own bani after. i think guru's salok is the explanation of bhagat jee's salok. this also proves that guru sahib not only wrote bani but also read bani.

I thought this also until someone told me that Bhagat Farid Ji's bani and all the other Bhagats bani appears through out Sri Guru Granth Sahib, so its not just limited to their saloks. I'm amazed at how gurbani was written, it's so beautiful... pray.gif
