HImmats massands crappy apology http://youtube.com/watch?v=OehEqfFgYfk

I'm sorry but does anyone else see through that apology, it was blatantly to shut the youth up about it..Well it hasnt worked because i'm still as appalled as i ever was, and i still wanna see himmat off of that committee...more than ever now!

We need a good way of getting rid of him...does anyone know anything about Gurudwara politics? wacko.gif

If you follow the current authorities politics then you pull him by the Kaysh and drag him in the mud rolleyes.gif

Waheguru1 How can a Sikh smile whilst pulling a fellow Sikh's Kesh? That is disgusting; bad as the hindu's in '84!

This is getting silly. We have been discussing this about what happens in Guru Khar's for a while. But we discuss and nothing happens.

Just take the example of prime Sikh Temple in UK aka Southall.

- Gurukhar elections are on Sunday

- AGM was held last sunday; where prominent Sikhs and others who shouldnt be there were present

- We know what happened. You have seen the Video's

- The elections are on Sunday 1st october. And rumor is that there will be some prominent people spending all day there keeping an eye on . . . . .

Why is this happening. Do the people in the Gurudwara Committee dont think that they may last for 5/10/15/20 years or so on but eventually they will move on . . . . . what then..... wacko.gif

We as Sikhs should visit the Southall Gurudwara on Sunday to ensure that there is a presence of Sikhs. Hopefully this will prevent any stupidities happening. :TH:

Southall Gurudwara- £18 million

1. 1 main hall

2. One small 500 capacity hall

3. 1 langer hall and 1 kitchen

4. Library (no other facility)

5. Car park for 90 cars

6. Toilets on ground floor only

7. No lecture hall

the same time

Southall and immediate surrounding areas have a Sikh population of 140 000 but Gravesend and its surrounding area has only 12, 000.

Gravesend Gurudwara cost less to build and has more facilities.

The Gravsend figures include all finishing and fitting costs. Sohi’s committee spent over £4 million in professional fees alone. Figures don’t lie! Sangat Ji use your head.

Yeh i'm with u, this cant go on any longer especially seeing those funds going to what seems like nowhere and the gurudwara looking nothing like what was expected- according to the "costs". It's getting out of hand, it's not fair on the sangat but then they shud also b ready to stand up and say something or even do something about it! And i also think the sangat shud go down there on Sunday to 'ensure there is a presence of Sikhs' as well...there has to be SOME Sikhs there cos we all know there are no real Sikh's involved with these parties.
