Haye mai margiya, why are u guys getting so personal , Personally i love tea, i don't drink milk, bass chah. My chah is very famous as well in the gurdwara.

The following are my faourite chah flavours..

I make Adrak ( Ginger ) Flavoured chah.

Ilayichi ( Cardamom ) wali chah.

wat u call it, Long ( Clove ) wali chah.

Sonf wali chah

Milk tea

and few more flavour

Oh and for Garam Jal... my dad dosen't drink chah, but yea he always asks me to make GARAM JAL for him... but, it's more liek a lot of water with milk.. no pati ( as above virji/bhainjis' metioned) ... and then some leaves and other masalla stuff.

I don't put sugar in it... is it supposed to be with suger?... i'm sure it dosen't matter.. but jus asking... is it?

Tea is an addictive substance which alters brain chemistry. The reason nasha is a bujjar kurait is because it alters brain chemistry and effects bhagti. Anything that alters your state of mind is wrong. This is why many gursikhs do not take caffeine at all.

I personally see it just as bad weed.

And I am just saying personally as I do not want others to start in on arguments, I am not forcing anyone to beleive it, even though i beleive it is correct.

veer, you claim that its against sikhi and its your personal choice. It can't be both. Either it IS against sikhi or it is YOUR Choice.

Lets not make your personal beliefs into "Against Sikhi"

banaksha in english is commonly called Khalsa Tea, and this is the label on the box.

Fine at risk of being blasted, Caffeine is against sikhi. It is just as much against sikhi as weed or any other addictive, mind altering substance.

bhainjee, i think your misunderstood. caffeine is a drug...it is found in both tea leaves and in caffeine, the drug cant change from source to source, the only thing that changes is its potency.

singhs shouldnt drink tea because of caffine. i dont tak chaaa n coffeee. in ur house except my mom , noone takes tea n coffee. i hav tn tasted tea in my life.
