I heard a short sakhi in katha about this great mahapursh which needs narrating.

Sant Sunder Singh Ji took 8 singhs from the jatha into a quiet place and said that they (sant ji) wanted the singhs to experience something.

Sant ji took all 8 singhs to the realms of the 6th avastha.

all the singhs could see was parkaash of vaheguroo. naam simran was vibrating through their bodies, in the walls and everywhere else in the room.

the singhs were in sooo much anand that they told sant ji to stop this experience, otherwise they would want to stay in sachkhand and not come back to this world.

sant ji stopped this kautak and told the singhs that this was the level they all had to aim for through immense bhagti.

the singhs followed baba ji's bachan and out of the 8, 2 of them came close but the one gurmukh who made it to this level of bhramgiaan was none other than Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranvale

I heard this story little differently from Taksalis. I heard that some Singhs questioned the Shabad which states that at one avastha one heard "Waheguru" from everything including fore, air, bird chirping etc. Sant Ji did Ardaas and all Singhs experienced this avastha for many hours. After a while Sant Ji did another ardaas and brought the Singhs out of the avastha and back to their normal state of mind. Sant Ji said that this was shown by the blessings of Guru Sahib and now they had to do naam kamayee to reach that avastha themselves. I have heard numerous stories and my father heard many from Sant Kartar Singh Ji some of which he said must not be written down. baba ji's father, baba khajan singh ji had done 36 lakh mool mantar da paath before baba sunder singh ji was born. and then after their birth they did sava lakh jap ji sahib da paath.
