tape 55 out of 81:

Sidhas asked Guru Ji then how come you have done only Naam di Mehima(Importance and glorification of Naam)? Guru Ji replied, what else is there beside Naam? Sidhas replied, like visiting pilgrames(tiraths) and doing tap(hard penances)??

Guru Ji replied:

tirath tap da-i-aa dat daan.

Going to Pilgrimages and having austere discipline, mere compassion , charity

jay ko paavai til kaa maan.

these, by themselves, bring only an iota of merit.

Guru Ji said such things have greater chances to bring ego in this being.

Then Guru Ji said out of all, highest karam is:

suni-aa mani-aa man keetaa bhaa-o.

Listening to gurbani spiritual discourses and believing, following them with

love and humility in your mind,

antargat tirath mal naa-o.

that will cleanse yourself with the Name, then one gets sacred shrine deep within.

Gurbani says:

Jo Bhramandai So Pindaie, Jo Khojee So Pavaie ||

Whatever god's creation is outside, exist also in this being. When One searches for it then they realize and expereince it.

Guru Ji then told sidhas, such people then say after fully immersed with Naam:

sabh gun tayray mai naahee ko-ay.

All virtues are Yours, Lord, I have none at all.

vin gun keetay bhagat na ho-ay.

Without virtue(sat, santokh, dharam, daya, vichar), there is no devotional worship.

Gyani gives another interpertation of the above tuk since gun has two meanings..!

Without(gun)paropkar/grace of Vahiguroo, one cannot be devotee.

su-asat aath banee barmaa-o.

Vahiguroo who is kalyan saroop first spoke bani- ongkar resonace which created Brahma and the world.

Then Sidhas asked Guru Ji, if Vahiguroo changes(updahis) after transcending itself into creation.

Guru ji replied:

sat suhaan sadaa man chaa-o.

He is True( ad sach, jugad sach, habhi sach, nanak hosi bhi sach), ever beautiful(chatayen saroop) and Eternally Joyful (Sat, Chit Ananda Saroop).

tape 56 out of 81:

Sidhas then asked Guru ji, please tell us when vahiguroo created his creation? any time? any place?

kavan so vaylaa vakhat kavan kavan thit kavan vaar.

What was that time, and what was that moment? What was that day, and what was that date?

kavan se rutee maahu kavan jit ho-aa aakaar.

What was that season, and what was that month, when the Universe was created?

vayl na paa-ee-aa pandtee je hovai laykh puraan.

The Pandits, the religious scholars, cannot find that time, even if it is written in the Puraanas.

vakhat na paa-i-o kaadee-aa je likhan laykh kuraan.

That time is not known to the Qazis, who study the Koran.

thit vaar naa jogee jaanai rut maahu naa ko-ee.

The day and the date are not known to the Yogis, nor is the month or the season.

jaa kartaa sirthee ka-o saajay aapay jaanai so-ee.

The Creator who created this creation-only He Himself knows.

kiv kar aakhaa kiv saalaahee ki-o varnee kiv jaanaa.

How can we speak of Him? How can we praise Him? How can we describe Him? How can we know Him?

naanak aakhan sabh ko aakhai ik doo ik si-aanaa.

O Nanak, everyone speaks of Him, by claiming wister than the rest.

vadaa saahib vadee naa-ee keetaa jaa kaa hovai.

Great is the Master, Great is His Name. Whatever happens is according to His Will.

naanak jay ko aapou jaanai agai ga-i-aa na sohai. ||21||

O Nanak, if one claims that they know everything, their gyan(knowledge) does not get accepted.

Guru Ji then says:

paataalaa paataal lakh aagaasaa aagaas.

There are countless nether worlds beneath nether worlds, and hundreds of thousands of heavenly worlds above.

Gyani ji shares an sakhi of Sri Guru Nanak dev ji how once guru ji spoke "paataalaa paataal lakh aagaasaa aagaas" in bhagdad. There was this muslim pir and his followers who then questioned Guru Ji bachan and accused Guru Ji of lying. Guru ji asked peer ji, why you getting angry? Peer said, our prophet muhammed sahib said, there are 7 nether worlds not countless nether worlds. Guru ji showed his son glimpse of countless nether worlds via surti(concentration) and then his son told his father that Guru Ji is right, Guru Ji himself is Allah Roop (emobdiment of Allah).

orhak orhak bhaal thakay vayd kahan ik vaat.

People have tried searching for end in past, present and will in future at end they all gave up and will give up, vedas says the same thing -

Neeit Neieth Kathan Bheda Bayant hai Bayant Hai ||

sahas athaarah kahan kataybaa asuloo ik Dhaat.

Thousands of dieties along with eighteen scriptures says there is no end, we are tired of searching because in reality, there is only One God that exist and knows.

laykhaa ho-ay ta likee-ai laykhai ho-ay vinaas.

If you try to write an account of this, you will surely finish yourself before you finish writing it.

naanak vadaa aakhee-ai aapay jaanai aap. ||22||

O Nanak, call Him Great! He Himself knows Himself.

Gyani Ji says: Whoever tried to find his end in good intention, at the end just merged in him.

tape 57 out of 81:

Guru Ji then talks about the next pauri.

saalaahee saalaahi aytee surat na paa-ee-aa.

The Lord who is worth praising, we should praise the Lord but you haven't obtain that intuitive understanding.

nadee-aa atai vaah pavahi samund na jaanee-ahi.

Then there are those who act streams and rivers (poor and rich) and merges into the ocean( ocean of vices) that they have forgotten Naam.

Gyani ji then shares another interpertation of the above tuk which is commonly used:

the streams and rivers flowing into the ocean(spirituality) do not know its vastness.

samund saah sultaan girhaa saytee maal Dhan.

Even kings and emperors, with mountains of property and oceans of wealth

keerhee tul na hovnee jay tis manhu na veesrahi. ||23||

- such are not even equal to an ant, but those who does not forget God, even they may look as smaller as ant in worldly eyes, but they are God's beloved and they are kings in eyes of God.

Guru Ji further narrated:

ant na siftee kahan na ant.

Endless are His Praises, endless are those who speak them.

Just by praises one cannot find his end, just by speaking one cannot find his end.

Gyani Ji shares an sakhi of Sant gyani gurbachan singh ji bhindravale said even bhramgyani cannot find his end because there is no need. Bhramgyani merges with God and becomes image of God, there is no need of finding end at that state because bhramgyani have became Advait roop(no duality) with god and have destroyed dualistic mind. They don't see two like us. They see God and only God in everywhere. One feels the need to find an end of God when one considers God and self as two separate entities.Bhramgyanis are above that duality.

ant na karnai dayn na ant.

One cannot find end his Actions nor end of his Gifts.

ant na vaykhan sunan na ant.

One cannot find his end to see Vision of his creation nor one can find his end by hearing about him.

ant na jaapai ki-aa man mant.

His limits cannot be perceived. What is the Mystery of His Mind?

Gyani Ji shares an sakhi of Sant Harnam Singh Ji Rampurkher wale- once one person asked Sant ji about future predictions. Sant Ji was young that time. Sant Ji went in meditation and told him that the times are not looking good in year - 1946. There will be lot of violence and massacare in India. When year -1946 came and went by, nothing really happened. That person start making fun of Sant Harnam Singh Ji. Sant ji told him, that's what i saw and told him let me sit in meditation again. He sat in meditation for that purpose, he came to know that - Sant baba Nand Singh Ji did ardas to Vahiguroo that I cannot see this (Bhramgyanis have komal heart, cannot see any kind of harm done against other humans), so vahiguroo delayed it for one year for his bhagat..when Sant baba Nand Singh Ji went to Sachkhand in 1946.Then all masaccared happened in 1947.

Gyan ji says: even if one tries to see the future events by antarjamta even then at times, bhramgyani can do ardas and can make those events delay or cancelled.

ant na jaapai keetaa aakaar.

The limits of the created universe cannot be perceived.

Guru Ji futher says:

ant na jaapai paaraavaar.

Its limits here(lok) and beyond(parlok) cannot be perceived.

ant kaaran kaytay billaahi.

Many struggle to know His limits,

taa kay ant na paa-ay jaahi.

but His limits cannot be found.

ayhu ant na jaanai ko-ay.

No one can know these limits.

bahutaa kahee-ai bahutaa ho-ay.

The more you say about them, the more there still remains to be said.

vadaa saahib oochaa thaa-o.

Great is the Master, High is His Sachkhand Home.

oochay upar oochaa naa-o.

Highest of the High, above all is His Name(Naam).

Gyani ji says: Via Naam, one can reach Naami(Vahiguroo) by giving example of bhai gopala ji. When Bhai Gopala Ji was about to do japji sahib da patt. Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji told bhai gopala ji to sit 1 1/2 foot above him because now you are reciting his Naam in form of japji sahib which is Sri Guru Nanak Patsah bani.

ayvad oochaa hovai ko-ay.

One who has recited on his Name(Naam) becomes as Great and as High as God.

tis oochay ka-o jaanai so-ay.

Vahiguroo know his own self, and Exalted State.

jayvad aap jaanai aap aap.

Only He Himself is that Great. He Himself knows Himself.

O Nanak, by His Glance of Grace, He bestows His Blessings on this jev(being).

Gyani ji says: without his grace, nobody could find his ant(end).

bahutaa karam likhi-aa naa jaa-ay.

His Blessings are so abundant that there can be no written account of them.

vadaa daataa til na tamaa-ay.

Vahiguroo, the Great giver does not have any desire so when he gives, he keeps giving without asking anything or hold back anything.

Taamaya also means anger. Vahiguroo does not get angry at anyone.

Gyani gives an example of Mosa Pagamvar: When Mosa pagamvar asked Allah/Vahiguroo that you should make me a giver. Vahiguroo told him via telepathy try it. Mosa Pagamvar with his powers start giving daily food to everybody. After day was over, Mosa Pagamvar told Vahiguroo/Allah that I have fullfill my duty of giving. Vahiguroo said in form of akash bani that you didn't- you left one person. Mosa said that person was a sinner, when i was about to give him daily food. I saw he was committing an sin. I left him.

So Siri Guru Nanak Sahib says by giving this example how Mosa Pagamvar had dvaish(partiality) towards sinner that he refused to give him good but Vahiguroo's nature is ever -giving, he gives datta(Gift) to everyone regardless sinner or not sinner, this being cannot be giver without his grace.

kaytay mangahi joDh apaar.

There are so many heroic warriors begging at the Door of the Infinite Lord.

Gyan Ji says: There are levels of warriors.

From socio-religious context in course of defending the dharam and humanity.

Soorma: Fights with 10, 100 oppressors.

Yodha: Alone fight with lakhs(100,000)

Athrathi Yodha: Highest of all, fight with 20 lakh oppressors but it's rare. Gyani Ji gave example from history- How bhai udhay singh ji asked siri dasam patsah to give him energy to fight all the turkhs alone. Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave him bachan- you shall be athrathi yodha. Guru Ji gave him full grace to get fateh(victory) in the battle field.

From spiritual context:

Soorma: People who ask vahiguroo to do sarvan(listening in sangat).

Yoda: People who ask Vahiguroo to do mannan(following upon on sarvan of discourses),and acting(Nidhasan) upon it.

Arthrati Yoda: People who ask Vahiguroo for his full grace /prapti(to merge with God)

Soorma is also an person who ask Vahiguroo to get control over vices. Yodha is also an person who ask Vahiguroo to control indraie(sense). Arthrathi Yoda is also an person who ask Vahiguroo to control over full mind.

kayti-aa dookh bhookh sad maar.

So many endure constant distress, deprivation and abuse.

Gyani ji says, Gurmukh's seeks dukh so that they can get more bairaag(emotion) and meditate on more Naam. Gurmukhs beleive in dukh which acts like remedy.

Gurbani says: Dukh Daru Sukh Rog Bhaiya ||

ayhi bhe daat tayree daataar.

Even these are Your Gifts, O Great Giver!

O Nanak, is the king of kings.

Gyani Ji added: Patisahee is Vahiguroo who is sitting on the throne. When this being gets blessed to sit on that thorne like a king then one becomes paatisahuu.

Guru Ji then talks about next pauri:

amul gun amul vaapaar.

Priceless are His Virtues, Priceless are His Dealings.

Gyan Ji says: Sikhs are given all the virtues by satguru ie- sat, santokh, gian, daya, dharam, pyaar, bairaag

Priceless are his bhramgyani/saints, sat sangati in form of dealers and priceless are his treasures ie- Naam, bhramgyan treasures.

Gyani also talks about this tuk by looking at Satguru's showering all the graces and gifts where satguru is dealer of bhandars(virtues). He is ever forgiving and gives the treasure to everyone regardless if the person is a sinner or not.

amul aavahi amul lai jaahi.

Priceless are those who come to this earth and take priceless(bhramgyan, anand)treasures with them.

Gurbani says: Dhan Dhan Dhan Jan Aiye Jis Parsad Sab Jagat Teraya ||

Gyani ji says: priceless are also those who go to sat sangat, listen to gurbani discourses and try to follow it.

Gyani Ji says: There are three so dar which comes in gurbani. Once in japji sahib, once in rehras sahib and one in asa raag. We are discussing about so dar in japji sahib.

there are many meaning of ghar for example- heart, sachkhand, sadh sangat ji.

1st interpretation of above quote if we look at it from sadh sangat context-

Where is that gate, and where is that dwelling in which everyone talks about you and remembers you in holy congregation ?

2nd interpertation of above quote if we look at if from sackhand context-

Where is that gate, and where is that dwelling in which all accepted spiritual souls who have attained enlightment engage in non-transcedental celestial meditation.

3nd interpertation of above quote if we look at it from physical body context-

Where is that gate, and where is that dwelling in which one's mouth acts like gate, heart acts like heart meditates on Vahiguroo.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji talks about in dasam granth(akaal ustat):

Zami Zaman Kaie Bikhaie Na Samasth

Na Ghat Bhad hoth hai ||

He is the King, the King of kings, the Supreme Lord and Master of kings. Nanak says, one should remains subject to His Will.

Sidhas asked Guru ji to join their school of thought(mat),panth(order) and accept their customs ie- wear earings, have bowl, put ashes on your body etc. You should accept all that because we are highest of all at this time and age.

Guru ji replies to them in the next pauri.

munda santokh saram pat jholee Dhi-aan kee karahi bibhoot.

Make contentment, hesitance(refrain from doing bad things) as your ear-rings, vichar and humility as your begging bowl, and do meditation instead of applying ashes to your body.

Sidhas then asked Guru Ji, to wear Khintha Kafni(chola) to carry an walking stick.

Guru Ji replied:

khinthaa kaal ku-aaree kaa-i-aa jugat dandaa parteet.

Let the remembrance of death be the patched coat you wear, and free from death like the purity of virginity free from kaal(husband), and let faith in the Lord be your walking stick.

Gyan Ji gave example of sri guru nanak dev ji. When guru maharaj went to sachkhand with his body. They went inside the tamboo(hut) after meeting hindu and muslisms and left the earth. Hindus and muslims start fighting between themselves. Muslims said we want to bury our pir, hindus said we want to cremate when they went inside the hut. They saw flower..hindus took half of the flower and muslims went other flower and went to their places.

Now one can doubt how come sri guru nanak dev ji body disappeared and went to sachkhand with the body. Gyani ji says for guru's saroop their body is not made of 5 elements(water, air, fire, earth, ether) like us. They are made differently. Which only bhramgyani can realize.

Sidhas offered Guru Ji food(bhagut) and told Guru Ji that we have attendant who makes the food and when food is ready, she plays naad(sound).

Guru Ji replied:

Sidhas told - I bow to you Guru Sahib ji, Guru Nanak Dev Ji replied humbly bow to God instead of my body.

aad aneel anaad anaahat jug jug ayko vays. ||29||

The Primal One, the Pure Light free from maya, five elements. without beginning, without end, ever going. Throughout all the ages, He is One and the Same.

Guru Ji then says:

aykaa maa-ee jugat vi-aa-ee tin chaylay parvaan.

The One Divine when met with Mother(Maya)and it conceived and gave birth to the three gunas.

Gyani ji says when bhram(God) meets with maya, it bounds to an change(upadhi) and transcedents its attributes into Isher(Sargun roop). Maya is numb without Vahiguroo's jot. When Vahiguroo's jot enters Maya, it gives birth to three gunas as we talked about it at very beginning of japji sahib katha.

ik sansaaree ik bhandaaree ik laa-ay deebaan.

God created the Creator of the World(Bhrama) via Rajogun, then the Sustainer(Vishnu) was created via Satogun and then Destroyer(Shivji) was created via tamogun.

jiv tis bhaavai tivai chalaavai jiv hovai furmaan.

Gyani ji says: everything is under Vahiguroo control. Vahiguroo uses maya, under that maya there are three gunas, three devta's, whole creation, 5 subtle elements, 5 physical elements, 5 vices and all the kudrat. All that is God's Celestial Order.

oh vaykhai onaa nadar na aavai bahutaa ayhu vidaan.

God watches over all as in give nourishment, energy to all, but none see Him. How wonderful God is!

aadays tisai aadays.

Sidhas all said aadays - I bow to you Guru Sahib ji, Guru Nanak Dev Ji replied (tisai aadays) humbly bow to God instead of my body.

tape 68 out of 81:

Sidhas told Guru ji that we use different yogic posturesm, have seats of authority and treasure. But you don't seem to be in posture nor you have seat of authority and treasure.

Guru Ji replied:

aasan lo-ay lo-ay bhandaar.

On world after world are His Seats of Authority, he sits in every heart, in every being and I only consider treasure which are stored in every being's karam- writ on one's forehead..

jo kichh paa-i-aa so aykaa vaar.

Whatever was put into them, was put there once and for all.

kar kar vaykhai sirjanhaar.

Having created the creation, the Creator Lord watches over it all the time.

naanak sachay kee saachee kaar.

O Nanak, True is the Creation of the True Lord.

aadays tisai aadays.

Sidhas all said aadays - I bow to you Guru Sahib ji, Guru Nanak Dev Ji replied (tisai aadays) humbly bow to God instead of my body.

aad aneel anaad anaahat jug jug ayko vays. ||31||

The Primal One, the pure light free from three gunas, without beginning, without end, ever going. Throughout all the ages, He is One and the Same and there is no change(upadhi) in him. ||31||

Gyani ji now talks about the above pauri from context of Gurmukh:

aasan lo-ay lo-ay bhandaar

That heart becomes treasure when vahiguroo sits in asan(posture) and gives its full parkaash.

jo kichh paa-i-aa so aykaa vaar.

Gyani ji says this above gurbani tuk can be also interpertated as the five beloveds( panj pyares) when giving amrit to jagiaaso(learner)- gives naam amrit only once. Also when Vahiguroo gives treasure to his bhagat- sant bhramgyanis. He gives that bhandar(treasure) all at once.

kar kar vaykhai sirjanhaar.

Gurmukhs first do(kar) sarvan(listening) then do(kar) manan(following) and nidhasan(contemplating on it) then they are able to see that Vahiguroo (sirnjanhaar).

naanak sachay kee saachee kaar.

Nanak says, gurmukhs never separate naam from them, they always continue contemplating on truth(sachae) of sachhee kar( vahiguroo's true creation).

aadays tisai aadays.

I bow to you Vahiguroo, I am humbly bow to Vahiguroo.

aad aneel anaad anaahat jug jug ayko vays.

The Primal One, the pure light free from three gunas, without beginning, without end, ever going. Throughout all the ages, He is One and the Same and there is no change(upadhi) in him. ||31||

Gyani ji says, all these qualities can also come in this being. Once this being recnognize his real self and makes effort to breaks the veils of maya which are currently in this being.

tape 69 out of 81:

ik doo jeebhou lakh hohi lakh hoveh lakh vees.

Gyani ji says this tuk represents sampaath upasana(worship) which are Seven Phase of Divine Knowledge-

1. Good Wish- I am abide by the wishes of the great person. Should I ask him how ignorance is removed such a feeling is known as Good Wish.

2. Good Consideration: To adopt good qualities after having throught over his word and to renounce demerits.

3. Tanun Mansa: To Turn thoughts and instincts into subtle form through meditation and penances and remove Haume, ego.

4. Satvapati: To have gained knowledge about the soul to consider the world untrue, non living and house of pain. To Treat all visible like a dream and feel non-existing.

5. Asanshkit: As human while in "sukhupati" is insight the Sun of Bliss having no sensations for outer pleasure or pain. All doubts and apprehensions removed imaging about conduct over goes above the daily needs of food, drink, hunger, thrists and the quality of happiness and sorrow.

6. Padarth- Bhami- God is not separate from me. He recognises his roots orginal source. Forgets about body needs and actions whether or not you get food gets immaterial and he is content without eating any thing. No ripple in the realm of desire transcedents worldly behaviours are disciplines.

7. Turia Avastha (satvi bhumika/7th realm)- God is visible everywhere looks upon himself distinct and orginal to deeper spiritual knowledege. This is seventh phase of knowledge called Turia. Knowner of the Divine Being is always imbued with his own soul the pure being and lives in him.

Gyani ji further gives an example from history: Once there is raja name(pirtho). Pirtho was very kind king and true bhagat of Vahiguroo. Pirtho asked God after being fully immersed in God's love - please give me 1000 tongues to meditate on your naam, his wish was granted then he asked for 20,000 tongues to meditate on Naam, that wish was also granted then he kept asking for more 100,000 tongues and 1 million then 1 billion tongues. When he was about to ask for more then God advised him to reside and fully merge with me. This is sampat upasana when person keeps striving for more with Good wish and Good consideration then God surely bless that person with last stage- turia avastha.

Therefore, the meaning of this verse "ik doo jeebhou lakh hohi lakh hoveh lakh vees" is as follows:

If I had one tongue, I wish that one tongue transform into 100,000 tongues as in my state of meditating on Naam could reach at meditating on Throat Chakra where upon meditating one gets anand(bliss) 100,000 more than normal recitation, when one accomplishes that state then jagiasoo ask to multiply 100,000 tongues twenty times as in my state of meditation on Naam could reach at meditating on heart chakra then on navel chakra state where upon meditating one gets anand(bliss) 20,000000 more times.

Gyan ji says: After meditating on Navel Chakra, one gets into trance state of Gurmukh rom rom har dahvaie ||

Guru ji than says:

lakh lakh gayrhaa aakhee-ahi ayk naam jagdees.

I would repeat that Neel( 20 000,00000) tongues , hundreds of thousands of times, the Name of the One, the Lord of the Universe.

ayt raahi pat pavrhee-aa charhee-ai ho-ay ikees.

Along this path to our Husband Lord, we climb the steps of the ladder(bakhri, Madhma, Pasanti, Para bani)* stays in Turiya Avastha(state) where one merges with God.

*1. Baikri Bani- When one recites naam with javan(tongue), hout(lips), khaieyal(thoughts) that is called Baikari Bani. 2. Madhma Bani- When one recites naam in Kant(throat) without moving lips...just with the thoughts is called Madhma Bani. 3. Pasanti Bani- When one recites naam in hirda(heart). 4. Para Bani- When one recites naam in Nabhi(Navel) without moving tongue and with the thoughts.

sun galaa aakaas kee keetaa aa-ee rees.

Seeing of the birds flying etheric realms in month of saun(august), even worms try copy them and try to fly but they get no success and come back to their home.

Gyani gives another interpertation of this above tuk from spiritual context.

Mahapursh/Saint who have reached dasam daur(akash)just by listening to them one kee(worm) fake self-proclaimed mahapursh start copying them and pretend that they have reached the akash(dasam daurt) they fail miserably and they fall down.

naanak nadree paa-ee-ai koorhee koorhai thees. ||32||

O Nanak, by His Grace He is obtained. False are the boastings of the false.

aakhan jor chupai nah jor.

This being has no power to speak, no power to keep silent.

jor na mangan dayn na jor.

This being has no power to beg, no power to give.

Gyani ji gives an sakhi of baba sri chand ji. How when Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji went to sachkhand. Baba Sri Chand Ji Maharaj asked Vahiguroo for Sri Guru nanak Dev Ji Darshan for a moment. Right at that moment, Guru Nanak dev ji appeared and told baba sri chand ji that even if you would have asked for my darshan for 1000 years. I would have stayed with you for thousand years but this being has no power to beg, this was all pre-odained.

jor na jeevan maran nah jor.

This being has no power to live, no power to die.

Gyani ji gives example of harknash and ravan. How they asked Vahiguroo to bless them with vaars to be immortal. They were given other vaars ie- prolong their life but one day even they had to go from this world.

jor na raaj maal man sor.

This being has no power to rule, with wealth and occult mental powers.

jor na surtee gi-aan veechaar.

This being has no power to gain intuitive understanding, spiritual wisdom and meditation.

jor na jugtee chhutai sansaar.

This being has no power to find the way to escape from the world.

jis hath jor kar vaykhai so-ay.

He alone has the Power in His Hands. He watches over all.

naanak utam neech na ko-ay. ||33||

Nanak says, this being has no power to call self or others higher or lower. It's according to God's will one turn to be higher and another lower.

tape 71 out of 81:

Gyani ji talks about the same pauri but from a Spiritual context:

aakhan jor chupai nah jor.

Jor means milap with Vahiguroo

aakhan jor- If person keep claming that I will meet Vahiguroo. One cannot meet him just by claiming.

Gurbani says: Gali Jog Na Hoi ||

chupai nah jor- If person decides to observe silence to meet Vahiguroo. One cannot meet him just by observing silence.

jor na mangan - If person decides to beg doors to doors for his grace. One cannot get grace just by begging.

Gurbani says:

Koi Na Jan Har Sio Davaie Jor ||

dayn na jor- If person decides to give charity, donations in intention of meeting with Vahiguroo. One cannot merge with him just by giving donations and charities.

Guru ji then says:

jor na jeevan - If person decides to live a long life to meet Vahiguroo. One cannot merge with Vahiguroo just by having prolonged life.

maran nah jor- If person decides to commit sucide to meet Vahiguroo. One cannot merge just by havin thought of killing one self to meet Vahiguroo because your subtle body made out of 17 elements which includes ego goes with you.

Guru Ji then says:

jor na raaj maal man sor - If person decides to meet Vahiguroo via their kingdom. This way one cannot merge with God. With their kingdom they only have their mind polluted with millions of thoughts wandering around and make their life miserable.

jor na surtee - If person decides to contemplate on their surtee(concentration)and take their surtee in upper realms without Naam to get bliss or meet Vahiguroo. One cannot merge with Vahiguroo by that ritual.

gi-aan veechaar- If person tries to meet with Vahiguroo via their knowledge or holding deep discussions. One cannot merge with God just by that ritual.

jor na jugtee chhutai sansaar - If person tries to meet with Vahiguroo by leaving this sansar(world) by going to secluded place and using specific techniques(jugtee). Even then One cannot merge with Vahiguroo.

jis hath jor kar vaykhai so-ay- Person's who has done bhagti (sarvan, mannan, nidhasan) in Antis kharan( mind acculmation of thoughts, consciousness, sub-consciouness, intellect, ego)and fully destoryed the dirty antish karan can meeet Vahiguroo and merge with Vahiguroo.

naanak utam neech na ko-ay. ||33||

Nanak says, this being has no power to call self or others higher or lower. It's according to God's will one turn to be higher and another lower.

tape 73 out of 81:

Guru Ji then talks about gian khand in next pauri.

gi-aan khand kaa aakhhu karam.

And now I speak of the realm of spiritual wisdom. In this spiritual realm, holy saints(gian khandi) have full knowledge of everything.

kaytay pavan paanee vaisantar kaytay kaan mahays.

Holy saints can see so many types of winds or gas(paun/pavan), wind deities(pavan devta's) people who use wind(pavan) from their body in their bhagti by taking them into various chakras energy points.

Gyan ji says: people who do accupuncture they have full knowledge about paun so they can easily heal people with their knowledge.

Holy saints can see so many different elements of water(panee) and their secrets.

Holy saints can see so many types of fires(vasantar) some are visible , some are invisible for normal people like us for example- daun agni which spreads around in the jungle and destroys everything, saman agni which stays in the wood always, jatara agni- this agni's is inside us which helps us to digest food, trisna agni- fire of disers, irkha agni- fire of jealously, vishay agni- fire of lust, anger, greed, attachment, ego.

Gyani ji shares an sakhi how once this singh went to his mahapursh to get discourse. Mahapursh told him that you are burning in fire. He said, i cannot realize it.. Mahapursh said, you are suffering from vishey agni, you should do patt otherwise this will burn you.

kaytay kaan mahays.

Person who belong to this realm of knowledge can see soo many krishnas , shiv ji and his 11 incarnations.

Gyan ji shares an sakhi of this singh in bombay. He was quite spiritual. Gyani ji asked him when your gian dristhi open as in when you reached that state of knowledge (gian khand), what did you see. He said, all these deities keep coming do namaskar then they disappear. In this state, you can see other world and it's people which normal people cannot say.

Person who belong to this realm of knowledge can see so many Brahmas fashioning forms of great beauty, adorned and dressed in many colors.

Person who belong to this realm of knowledge can see so many worlds and mountains which are there for karm's, can see soo many dharu bhagats and his teacher(narad muni) who gives discourses.

Gyani ji says: The reason why normal people cannot see them is because these are made of 4 elements ( sky, wind, water, fire). The 5th element which is earth(visible) is not present in them-

1. Sky is not solid element, normal person may see sky however person cannot destroy sky even if one wants wishes to destory. For example- throw stones, fire rockets at the sky, nothing happens to the sky.

2. Wind is not solid element, one can feel wind but cannot see wind.

3. Water is not solid element. It's made of two types of gases, once water vapourises one cannot even see water.

4. Fire is not solid element either, one can easily use some protection and put their hand in and out in the fire.

There are many invisible things which are made of 2, 3, 4 elements(tats) once an matter is made of all five elements, normal person can see it.

When we are in the body because we have full 5 physical elements, 25 parkriti's (sub elements) that's why our body can be seen. Once we leave our physical body, our real self goes with only subtle body which is made out of 17 elements - five pranas, five gyan indrai(senses), five karam indra(senses),

Man(Mind) and Buddh(Intellect).

Five Parnas: pran(breaths), apan(vaoio), Saman (energy exists everywhere in body), Bhyaan (energy exists in navel chakra) and

Udhayn (energy exist in throat chakra).

Five Gyan Senses: hearing, touch, sight, taste, smell.

Mann and Buddh- Our antish karan made of mat, chit, buddh, ahankar

(all thoughts in consciousness/subconsciouness, desires/wishes at the time of death and ego)

Five karam indree's- Feet, Hands, Tounge(speech), Anus and our Sexual organ.

kaytay ind chand soor kaytay kaytay mandal days.

Person who belong to this realm of knowledge can see so many Indras, so many moons and suns, so many worlds and lands.

kaytay siDh buDh naath kaytay kaytay dayvee vays.

Person who belong to this realm of knowledge can see so many Siddhas and Buddhas, so many Yogic masters. So many goddesses of various kinds.

kaytay dayv daanav mun kaytay kaytay ratan samund.

Person who belong to this realm of knowledge can see so many demi-gods and demons, so many silent sages. So many oceans of jewels.

kaytee-aa khaanee kaytee-aa banee kaytay paat narind.

Person who belong to this realm of knowledge can see so many ways of life, so many resosance/bani( rajsi, tamski, satki bani), within inside the body ie- Bakhri bani, madhma bani, pasanti bani, para bani, tantik bani which is sound comes from elements, patrik bani which is sound coming from sky, so many dynasties of rulers.

kaytee-aa surtee sayvak kaytay naanak ant na ant. ||35||

Person who belong to this realm of knowledge can see soo many intuitive people, so many selfless servants. O Nanak, His limit has no limit!

Gyani ji says: Person who belong to this realm, don't have duality. They see God in everything. Their mind which see jot(soul) in all his creation discussed above stays in non dualistic(advait roop) mode. This state is gian khand.

Guru Ji further says:

gi-aan khand meh gi-aan parchand.

When person reaches this realm of wisdom, they get full elevated spiritual wisdom.

Gyani ji gives an example: When person is sleeping, person has no knowledge about his state. But when that person gets up then one gets full knowledge about the state as in if they are waking state, knowledge about their surronding etc.

tithai naad binod kod anand.

One listesn to Sound-current of the Naad which vibrates there, amidst the sounds and the sights of bliss.

Gyani ji distinguishes between three types of anand- one is naad anand which is celestial bliss felt upon hearing the resosance of naam and second one is binod anand: which is bliss felt by eyes upon seeing the God's light and it's magnificent beauty.Third is kour anand which is bliss felt by union with God/Supreme Bliss.

Gyani ji says, when one listens to resosance (dhuni) of naam then they get naad anand, then slowly goes one stage above starting feeling binod anand, feeling bliss by seeing his magical beauty, celestial souls.

Gurbani says:

Rang Haisaie Rang Rovaie Chup Bhi Kar Jai

Parva Nahi Kissae kari Baaj Sachaey Nai ||

Then after going through that anand then one gets to state kour anand which is supreme bliss. In this state, soul gets united with paratama. Sikh gets partakh darshan of Guru Maharaj Ji.

Person with pure consciousness get fully aware how devta's, sidhas, the beings of spiritual perfection, are shaped there.

Gyani ji talks about how next puari explains state of sanmukh sikh. Sanmukh state is 6th state out of 7 state. Just to recap the states and khands corresponding to them.

Seven phases(State) of Divine Knowledge:

1. Good Wish- I am abide by the wishes of the great person. Should I ask him how ignorance is removed such a feeling is known as Good Wish. (Dharam Khand)

2. Good Consideration: To adopt good qualities after having throught over his word and to renounce demerits. (Dharam Khand)

Forgets about body needs and actions whether or not you get food gets immaterial and he is content without eating any thing. No ripple in the realm of desire transcedents worldly behaviours are disciplines. (Karam Khand/Sanmukh Sikh)

(Sachkhand/Gurmukh Sikh).

Gyani ji this tuk reflects the 7th and final state of divine knowledge - Turiya Avastha. This state is of a Gurmukh. Gurmukh is free from all three states- jagrath, saupan, sukhopat.

The first avastha is when the mind is interacting with sensory information, the second when the senses are generally less active, but the mind is still projecting images and experience in sleep, and the third is dreamless sleep, when the mind is not active but is really more akin to non-consciousness. Turiya is beyond the three and one of pure consciousness.

Gyani ji says after turiya avastha(final stage), there one more avastha known as turiya <admin-profanity filter activated> avastha which is only for satguru(nirgun parbraham) and one can get to that avastha only after when one leaves the body and there is no coming in world or going from the world even as avtar. In this avastha atma fully merge with satguru.

Gurbani describes this avastha as:

Nanak nadree nadar nihaal

Gyani ji says, only satguru nanak dev ji can do nadar or if there is poran bhramgyani then they can also nadar to an being and make this being( jiv atma) nihal hiiiii nihaaaaaal (supreme bliss)

Sidhas asked how can one reach final destination or reach bhramgyan. Guru Ji replies to sidhas from stages to stages:

jat paahaaraa Dheeraj suni-aar.

Let self-control be the furnace, and patience the goldsmith.

Gyan ji says, dheraj(pateince) is must. Dukh/Sukh feeling should be sam(same).

They have understanding that there are six updahis(change) with vikars in all the beings where body's job is birth and death, pran's(vital force) job is to realize hunger and thrist, and mind's job is to realize sorrowness and happiness. They scarifice these six upadhis and rise above from them. They also rise above from isher's gunas(virtues) and see only thing which is bhram(god) in being, divine being and God's creation.

Gyan ji talks about previous tuks:

jat paahaaraa Dheeraj suni-aar.

jat means tyaag/sanyas:

Gyan ji says: there are two types of sanyas

- Bibdikha Sanyas: This type of Sanyas/tyaag is deattaching from this world, maya. And leave everything behind and go for bhram di prapti(merge with god) in secluded place.

- Vidatat Sanyas: This type of sanyas/tyaag is which is highest of all. Despite of person getting full divine knowledge and still that person is tyaagi is highest of all.

Dheerej- Gyani ji talks about dheeraj(patience) by giving sakhi of panj pyares who gave their heads out of 100000 people to Guru Maharaj. Because they were embodiment of dheeraj(patience).

ahran mat vayd hathee-aar.

Let understanding be the anvil, and spiritual wisdom the tools to make that anvil strong and firm.

bha-o khalaa agan tap taa-o.

With the Fear of God/Satguru as the bellows, fan the flames of tap(seva and naam simran), the body's inner heat.

bhaaNdaa bhaa-o amrit <admin-profanity filter activated> dhaal.

In the crucible of love, melt the Nectar of the Name, Atamik Amrit ,

gharhee-ai sabad sachee taksaal.

and mint the True Shabad, the Word of God,Sadh Sangat.

Gyani ji says in sadh sangat, one should do vichar (gharee) with shabad- what are my weakness in the spiritual path? how can i improve them? By keep doing this vichar, one will go through and rise above from avidya(ignorance). panj koshas(five veils), asamta, abhinesh, raj dvaish and then can see bhram(akaal purkh)

jin ka-o nadar karam tin kaar.

Only by his glance of Akaal Purkh's grace, only that person can do such karam( to desire and make efffort to get bhramgyan)

naanak nadree nadar nihaal. ||38||

Nanak says, vahiguroo then do nadar(glance of grace) on this being and make this being( jiv atma) nihal hiiiii nihaaaaaal (supreme bliss)

tape 78-79 out of 81:

Gyan ji talks about the first tuk above of 38th pauri. Gyani ji says, interpertation of tuk which was drawn above that was guru ji discourses to sidhas. Now we going to the hear Guru Ji giving discourses to Gursikhs in that same tuk.

jat paahaaraa Dheeraj suni-aar.

Let self-control be the furnace, and patience the goldsmith.

Gyan ji says: Self-control(jat) is important. Without jat there is no tyaag(scarifice), without tyaag there is sanyas(renunciation), without sanyas there is no bairaag(longing). Just like that without bairaag there is no tyaag, without tyaag there is no sanyas, without sanyas there is no jat.

All these things are inter-related.

Gyani ji says there are many types of bairaag. Bairaags are of 12 types. Three types are in one category and other nine types in other category.

Three types of bairaag

1. Donkey Bairag (Gadha Bairaag)- One runs away from house in depression and considers this world false temporary because one suffers from fianical loss , suffers from debt and suffers from death in the family. This is not premanent bairaag, as times goes by- one comes back to their house and start living as if they nothing happened. Mahapursh label this kinda bairaag as "gadha(Donkey) bairaag"

2. Horse bairaag (Ghora Bairaag)- First going out from family life, then coming back at family member insistence.

3. Lion Bairaag- Never coming back to family life, sanyans- Renunciation.

Nine types of bairaag.

1. Karan Bairag: Cause bairaag. For example- There was a raja(king) parthar, there was his queen pingal who was extremely beautiful. Someone gave her amar phul which is divine blessing to stay always young and beautiful. Queen pingal betrayed king by sharing her blessing, wealth, time to king's servant. When King came to know about this secret, king went through emotional shock and left his kingdom and did immense meditation, he also wrote 100 shaloks in book called - Bairaag shatak. This book is full of bairaag after reading this and contemplating on it ones becomes fully bairaag/tyaagi.

2. Mand Bairaag- Longing due to the lack of worldly materials, leaving the family and set up small ashram with small numbers of followers.

3. Ek indra bairaag- To see, listen, talk about desireful things whether it's women, car, house, party with senses. In this type of bairaag one does not do action as in engaging themselves in desireful activities but just seeing them. If one manages not to engage themselves in actions/act that they tend to spent all their life seeing, listening, talking, such person is called Ek Indrae Bairaagi.

4. Yatman Bairaag: This bairaag is to distinguish between Truth and Lie.

5. Vetrek Bairaag: This type of bairaagi(person belongs to vetrak bairaag state) to think about merits and demerits in congregation.

6. Vasikar Bairaag: This type of bairaag is controlling over 10 sense organs and mind.

7. Teebar bairaag- This type of bairaag renounces desire for paradise and worldy comforts.

8. Teebar tar Bairaag- This type of bairaag renounces desire for heavenly paradise and heavenly comforts.

9. Tar Teebar tar tam bairaag- This type of bairaag to renounces the objects of inder lok, shiv lok, Bhramlok [Realms of three deities). There are no desires left in this final state of bairaag. Not even for salvation but only to fully merge with the beloved.

Gurbani says:

Raj Na Chao, Mukht Na Chao Man Preet Charan Kamalaraie |

Gyani ji says:

Once a person is at the last level of bairaag(tar teebar tar tam bairaag) then only one is truely an Jat.

Tape 80 out of 81:

Sidhas asked Guru ji, in this world who is guru? who is pita? who is mata?

Guru Ji replied in salok:

Shalok:

pavan guroo

Air(pran/vital force in the body) is the Guru(Head). Even Satguru(Supreme Guru) does updesh(discourse)in form of Shabad via pran(pavan).Pavan is also interconnected with mind.

paanee pitaa

Water is the Father of this whole world. First water gives nourishment to whole creation, from water plants and whole nature gets nourishment and in seconds water itself can cause destruction of this world ie- tsaunami.

maataa Dharat mahat.

Earth is the Great Mother of all.

divas raat du-ay daa-ee daa-i-aa khaylai sagal jagat.

Day and night are the two nurses, in whose lap all the world is at play.

chang-aa-ee-aa buri-aa-ee-aa vaachai Dharam hadoor.

Good deeds and bad deeds-the record is read out in the Presence in court of Dharam Raja.

karmee aapo aapnee kay nayrhai kay door.

According to their own actions, some are drawn closer to salvation, and some are driven farther away in cycles of reincarnations.

jinee naam Dhi-aa-i-aa ga-ay maskath ghaal.

Those who have meditated on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and departed after having worked by the sweat of their brows.

naanak tay mukh ujlay kaytee chhutee naal. ||1||

-O Nanak, their faces are radiant in the Court of the Lord, and many are saved along with them!

Gyan ji gave example: How Raja janak once was travelling through the realms and came across with jampuri where sinner's subtle bodies was going through tortures, Raja janak who was bhramgyani then went to visit Dharamraja and told him to clear hell(jampur) and send them to heaven. Dharam raja said, i have vahiguroo's order, it's a divine law whoever committed bad deeds shall pay. I cannot go against divine law. Raja Janak ji then said - here on scale weigh my moment of dhyaan of vahiguroo. When dharam raja start doing that, slowly all jampuri(hell) got fully empty.

final tape 81 out of 81:

Gyani ji talks about this last shalok in japji sahib from adhyatamic(spiritual) perscpective how 2nd sri guru nanak dev ji in form of sri guru angad dev ji gave adyatamic updesh to Gursikhs on this shalok.

Gursikhs forwarded their question infront of sri guru angad dev ji regarding - pavan guru paanee pitaa maataa Dharat mahat in shalok. Should we consider air as Guru?

Guru Ji replied:

Speaking from ultimate reality, Guru is chaitan/sarabvyapak roop(exist everywhere, in every being), exist in every thing.

Guru exist in air just like how air is nirlaip, how air brings nice scent in the nature, environment.. such attributes also exist in Supreme Guru..

Guru exist in water( in form of father) just like how water is free from mael(change, dirt) and how water is ever - flowing and make dirty things clean instead.. such attributes also exist in Supreme Guru.

Guru exist in earth(dharat), (mahatat)sky (in form of mother) just like how earth is ever forgiving, how sky is numb and it's in stable state- free from upadis(change) regardless how many thunderstorms, lightning does occur in sky nothing happens to sky such attributes also exist in Supreme Guru.

Guru Angad dev ji further told gursikhs: speaking personaly, for me that Guru which is chaitan/sarabvyapak roop is Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji because wherever i see, I see Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Sarabvayapaik in sargun form.

Gyani ji gave example of baba sunder singh ji bhindranwale, once how once Sant Baba Bishan Singh Ji Muralewale (vidya gurdev/murshid of sant baba sunder singh ji) came across with baba sunder singh ji doing tapasaya in kapli asan(posture) head down on the earth, cross legs on the air. Baba bishan singh ji asked baba ji, what are you doing? Baba Sunder Singh Ji replied, i don't know what to do, but wherever i look i see sri guru nanak dev ji, wherever i put my feet, i see sri guru nanak dev ji, I don't know where to put my feets up. Baba Bishan Singh Ji replied, sri guru nanak dev ji is extremely pleased by your recitation of japji sahib and your deb dristhi(celestial vision) has fully opened. Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji is sarabvyapaik(exist everywhere) in your roms, veins. Sri Guru Nanak dev ji exist in air, water, earth.

divas raat du-ay daa-ee daa-i-aa khaylai sagal jagat.

Satguru is like Day(gyan da soraj- parkash- embodiment divine knowledge)

Satguru is like two types of nights( raat du-ay), one night is masaya raat(fully dark). Satguru ji bless his Sikhs* with Nirvakalap Samadhi (Non-transcedental meditation). This type of raat or state known for it's non-trascendenetal state. Second type of night is poranmassi raat(night with rays from moon, stars). Satguru ji bless his sikhs* with moon in form of bairaag(longing), stars in form of subh gun( virtues)

*Sikhs word used in this context can be both taken as beleiver in God(Nirgun)and believer in Guru Nanak Dev Ji in sargun form.

Satguru gives nourishment to his creation in form of nurses, daayae(shabad roop) in whose laps all the world is at play.

chang-aa-ee-aa buri-aa-ee-aa vaachai Dharam hadoor.

Satguru ji includes his sikhs in his court(Dharam Hadoor) and give discourse - always do Good deeds(changaaeaa) and refrain from doing bad deeds(buri-aa-ee-aa vaachai .

karmee aapo aapnee kay nayrhai kay door.

Then it's up to an individual deeds. According to their own actions, some are drawn closer, and some are driven farther away.

jinee naam Dhi-aa-i-aa ga-ay maskat ghaal.

Those who have meditated on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and departed after having worked by the sweat of their brows

naanak tay mukh ujlay kaytee chhutee naal. ||1||

-O Nanak, their faces are radiant in the Court of the Lord, and many are saved along with them!.

Then Sikhs asked Guru ji, those many who are saved with them, are they able to get to the same state as them. Guru Ji replied yes, because when they take updesh(discourse) from them. Guru ji goes back to the shalok again and explain them antirvely arts(deeper meanings).

pavan guroo paanee pitaa maataa Dharat mahat.

When Guru Ji/Bhramgyani gives updesh(shabad) to jagiaso(learner/sikh) via pavan(vital force in the body) then sikh(jagaiso) via vital force(pavan) does simran(swas-swas/breath) on that shabad. Upon doing that Sikh(jagiaso) chit(consciouness) becomes sheetal(pure) as water and give nourishment to others as father. Then sikh(jagiaso) state becomes pure as mother and they have attributes like compassion(dya), forgiveness in their heart, they ultimately become uchaie(mahat).

divas raat du-ay daa-ee daa-i-aa khaylai sagal jagat.

Agyan(ignorance) in form of raat(night) in sikh's(jagiaso)heart transforms into divas(day/parkash/divine knowledge)

Dauy(dvaish-duality) which tries to play with the mind of sikh(jagiaso) but sikh by blessing/grace from guru/bhramgyani erase that duality.

Then sikh/jagiaso khaylai sagal jagat(destory this world view of duality) and see bhram(God) in undualistic world(advait jagat) which exist in both inside and outside of the body.

chang-aa-ee-aa buri-aa-ee-aa vaachai Dharam hadoor.

Bhramgyanis advise sikh to do Good deeds and refrain from bad deeds, dharam hadoor(dharamic attributes stays very close to them)

karmee aapo aapnee kay nayrhai kay door.

According to one's karma When Karmee comes in the shelter of Guru or Bhramgyani, they make them just like them (aapo apnee) then avastha(state) of Sikhs start perceiving that God is nor close to them nor it's far from them because bhram is sarabvayapaik(every-where).

Gyani ji said- once sikh asked Guru Ji, who is nearer and who is far from you? Guru ji said, one with bairaag virtues is near to me then one with bibek virtue is nearer to me then one with nidhasan(contemplating on discourses) is most nearest to me then (final state) one those who fully drop their egos -fully merge with me as in there is no difference between him and me. By looking at their state, we can't say they are near or far from the divine. Because they are fully infused in the divine.

jinee naam Dhi-aa-i-aa ga-ay maskat ghaal.

Those who have meditated on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and they are free from maskat(hard penances and harsh meditations(tapayasa).

naanak tay mukh ujlay kaytee chhutee naal. ||1||

-O Nanak, their faces are radiant in this world and other world- the Court of the Lord , and they are fully free(chutee) from God's created maya(manmon) and not only that they free others as well from maya.

The End (Sampuran Samapati of this audio japji sahib katha)

I hope sangat enjoyed and learned a lot from this mahan antriv/adhyatamik(spiritual) japji sahib katha rachna by siriman 108 sant baba sunder singh ji maharaj bhindranwale later translated and simplified by Gyani thakur singh ji in audio katha. Gyani ji tried to simplify the audio katha of japji sahib as much possible so normal sangat could understand it.

I am sure i have made enough mistakes while trying to translate one language to another especially if material has adhyatamic/vedant elements in it. So Bhul Chuk Maph sangat ji. Please do ardas to Guru Maharaj for me, so guru maharaj can give me more effort(bhal) and buddhi to do translations of audio katha's of all nitneem banis in future.

    • This Mother Quit Her Job To Teach Her 8 Year-Old How To Do Chemical-free Farming. Here’s Why  Pallavi Goel 4:47 PM 25 APR, 2017 In a world where most couples aspire to educate their children in international schools so that they can get the best education and well-paying jobs in the future, there is also a couple who is ready to do anything that it takes to make their son a successful farmer.  To be able to fulfill this dream, Gurbaksh Singh’s parents have not only moved to a village, they’ve done a lot more than that. His mother, Chanchal Kaur, has quit her job as a senior matron in Railways that paid her 90,000 rupees every month. His father, Rajendra Singh, a cashier in the Railways has also taken a long break from his job and plans to quit soon. The family was inspired to take this decision after being moved by the sufferings of Rajendra Singh’s sister. She fell victim to cancer because of chemical fertilizers used in the production of cereals and vegetables. Terming the hard-hitting incidence as a “U-turn” in their lives, the family has pledged to do chemical-free farming all through their lives. Rajendra Singh and Chanchal Kaur, hailing from Ajmer, Rajasthan, now want their son to be a farmer so that he can grow organic vegetables and grains and prevent people from getting cancer. Now they have bought two bigha land in Asrawad, which is known for being a fertile land for cultivation. The family, however, has no prior connection with their new village. Gurbaksh Singh has been enrolled in the Central School of Asrawad. The 8-year-old has already started training in farming. The family has also started constructing their house which will be erected with the use of completely natural material. Solar energy will be used for the purpose of cooking and electricity. • Vaheguru ji Ka Khalsa
Vaheguru ji Ki Fateh ji What I can suggest from advice is (if you are able) to go to any Sri Gurdwara Sahib ji, and do seva such as washing dishes, and do jaap at the same time. Doing seva with jaap gives countless sukhs. I was watching a jaap session from a Sri Gurdwara Sahib live from home, and the parcharak singh ji said that there is no need to go anywhere else for sukh, and that if we do seva at a Sri Gurdwara Sahib ji for 40 days or so while doing jaap then even our lines on our hands will change and become pavitr. If you also practice Sri Sukhmani Sahib ji daily that is by far amazing.
    • Vaheguru ji Ka Khalsa
Vaheguru ji Ki Fateh ji I get what you mean, but why should we care if Islam is enough? If people want to practice through ethical means, then they should be allowed to practice it.. As for the final prophet title or w/e, I don`t think we can simply judge it because who knows what the truth regarding Muhammad ji was actually like. Better safe than sorry when it comes to judging ancient religious leaders, rather lets spend our time praising our own Sri Guru Sahib jis. If bhagats have followers & they are not Sikh, then let them live as well.. They will come to know the truth through kirpa of God.
    • Yeah   I really enjoy reading the threads on there, some of the translations and thoughts are very deep.
    • Yes it does matter if he was a muslim or not, this might come as a shock to you but his bani is within Guru Granth Sahib Ji. IF he was a muslim then logic begs that the path of Islam is enough to reach God because a muslim's writings are included within Gurbani. That also means that the Quran could be considered equal to Gurbani and wait for it, Muhammad was the final prophet of the lord and no one else after him counts. Do you get the conundrum now?    New comers will point to Bhagat Farid and say "he was a muslim so its ok for me to do X,Y,Z" then they'll take it a step further and say that Bhgat Namdev was a follower of Vishnu (for the record he wasn't) and start venerating his idols. Do you get the little issue? The whole point of this thread is to show people that Farid Ji was a Sikh, I don't get why your panties are in a knot over it.
