VJKK! VJKF!!

me there too penji :)

dont worry. Vaheguru is in all of us. Sometimes your non-Amritdhari Freinds wont turn their backs from you, never show you attitude, infact they will want to listen to you, want to get inspired, you never know by Guru's Kirpa, theyll join the same path. On the other hand, I personally got inspired by Dastaar Singhneea, I wanted to be like them, talk to them about Gursikhi. But sometimes, you have to accept the fact the some fall prey to the 5's. No one is perfect but Guru jee.

we cant judge no one. Guru jee takes care of everything and He sends you the right ppl, the right Sangat around you. YOU WILL never be alone. And trust me, never look at those who aint Amrit Dhari with a diff look from those who are...

because,

We need to open our hearts to the the aspiring, or even those who dont know anything about Sikhi to join us. To increase our Panth, we cant divide ourselves but true you need good sangat, that is all Guru ji's Kirpa. But you gotta be strong and not let the worldy stuff get to you whrn you are around the other freinds, course we cant change anyone but may be someone out there might want to talk to a Gursikh like you to look for some inspiration.

"The Sandalwood will always have its fragrance even around the Bamboo".

Vaheguru bless yaa

Stay in Chardee Kalaa

rem, you have the bestest of all freinds--> Guru ji

dang, thats juz messed up if ppl gonna blank out on a fellow sikh like that. We see that on campus a lot. Someone actually tried this as an experiment. He would say hello to every Indian/Punjabi/Sikh he saw when he'd walk by them and most of them wouldn't say hello back to him, lol. Now when we pass by Indians on campus they juz look the other way or look down and pretend like they didn't see you!

Screw them! I'm not amritdhari but I have no singhnee on my msn who i talk to often :) . So you can add me (satpreet_kaur@hotmail.com) to ur msn...we'll chat sikhi related issues.

lol that makes me think ppl so immature, when we went to Sri Hemkunt Sahib random ppl were saying hello to random ppl, and I was like saying hello to all these old ppl who were being carried up and it jus puts a smile on their face, and u never know when u gonna need someone lol so shud be friendly with everyone.

I dont know why but its mainly the singhnees that seem to think they from another planet, but I still like the way they tie their dastars blush.gif .

I mean why cant ppl just love everyone cos they all human and then we all sikhs too.

But having dissed singhnees I have to admit I have come across the sweetest singhnees too so maybe its abt finding the right sangat. Just take a look at them and u know if they approachable or aint, I never spoken to one with attitude, lol u know the way their nose is sticking up as if everyone else stinks.

Totally irrelevant post again.

oh u can PM me if u ever want but wont say msn, dont have that.

Dear Penjhi

I can completely relate to you and it sounds very like me. As a singh I find it equally hard to make friends. From experiences I've had nobody wants to be my friend. After taking Amrit I really thought that we would all be a big khalsa family. How wrong was I. For the first few months I would say fateh to everyone and really try my best but all I got was blanks and stares or what happened was people became friends for a while and then began to use me which made me upset.

Even when I went to camp in the summer I felt so alone as everyone had their groups. I really began to think there was something wrong with me. Now I've realised its not the case. Those who don't say fateh back its a shortcoming in them.

I've stopped putting my faith in others now. There is only one true eternal friend that I have. No matter how many times I say fateh or see him, he never blanks me and always welcomes me with open arms - and thats guru ji. And I thank waheguru for giving me a great sister who is my best friend and sangat. pray.gifpray.gif

Guest gupt_singhni

wow thanks for the great response i thought i would get slated or something lol.

im not saying that im unsocial i actually am quite social and if people see me at around they would think i have loads of friends etc but i really dont i guess i should stick with guru sahib and sangat is right that making friends on msn is abit silly. i will add the bibis on msn thanks for the adds

its just i was quite popular in school before i came into sikhi and i dont know it feels really weird being alone alot of the time im just not used to it.

the thing about singhnia flirting with singhs i said when i was abit upset i dont mean every singhni is like that but some that i have met have been like that. oh and btw i dont just add random bibian lol i know them from 'real life' as in they know who i am and what i look like its just i dont get to chat with them because of the fact we live in different towns so msn is the closest form of communication.

anyway sangat i really felt you guys showed me alot of pyaar and understanding thanks

i tihnk the term singhnee has been used too loosely here.

a singhni is someone who has given their head to guru ji and as such will try their best to follow all of guru ji's hukam, u cant say someone who wears a dastaar is a singhni, or though wearing a dastaar is obivously compulsory as keski is 5th kakaar. and you cant say singhnees seem to think their form another planet either cos a propa singhnee, just like a propa singh, will try their best to keep strong sikhi.

or are you trying to say ppl with dastaars are stuck up?
