Attachment?

Vaaheguroo Ji Ka Khaalsaa Vaaheguroo Ji Ki Faateh

Sangat Ji, I need help! I got this huge problem with attachment, where, everytime, I start speaking to someone I get attached....and when they go or leave, I get very upset and depressed . I know, I shouldnt get attached to this extent, but its what I do and everytime I promise myself I will not, it happens. I really hate this feeling, and was wondering if there was anything I could do to stop it happening in the future, short of turning my heart into stone .

well i have the same problem as u i think..

the way i deal with it is that i just dont talk 2 nobody anymore because i cant find any other solution

maybe some of the chardi kala gursikhs on this forum can help us out eh?

I dont know if my advice can help you, but here are some thoughts...

when you talk with someone, it is good that you care for them and have compassion. But then also, allow things to flow freely and let go. People can cross paths, but it doesnt mean you will always be on the same path.

Gurbani says, in essence that:

Faces come and Go. Only God remains Constant. If you want to attach yourself to something, attach yourself to what will never leave you: God.
