The first annual "Spinning Wheel Film Festival" (www.spinningwheelfestival.com), which celebrates the stories of Sikhs worldwide, and brings diverse interpretations of their traditions and their 500 year history to the screen.

The Sikh Film Festival will be held on October 17, 18 & 19 at the Royal Ontario Museum. There will be a reception on the 17th, followed by the feature film being screened later in the evening. A number of artists will be performing cultural dances during the reception.

There will also be discussion panels after some of the films, which will be lead by local and international artists and producers.

The cost of a festival pass, which can be used by more than one person, is $200 for all three days (including the main reception, opening ceremonies and feature film screening).
