Bullet Proof Monk..

Just thought I'd share a scene of this newly released film with you. I'm sure you all will have either seen the trailers or perhaps the movie itself.

The bulletproof monk sits in a taxi explaining to his accomplice the mis-deeds of the bad guy of the film. During the convo, he says, "Naa darro, Naa Daraou".

At the same time, subtitles appear, saying "Never fear -- Never inflict fear."

The taxi driver (a brown man, with long open hair and trimmed beard) turns around and responds "Sat Sri Akal"

Again, subtitles appear. "God is true and timeless!"

The dialogue then continues between the driver and the monk...

"You speak like you are born in the the Punjab, my friend." Says the driver.

"In fact, I would say you follow the Guru's path yourself, but er...."

"I know.." interupts the monk, "..not enough hair", he laughs, as he taps his head.

Later on, the monk explains to his accomplice that he had stayed in Kashmir "and studied the enlightened teachings of the Gurus."

How surprising to hear the words of the Guru Sahibs in a modern-day hollywood blockbuster.

I just got that e-mail too, and I grabbed the movie and saw it, amazing movie still, concept of Guru and Sikh really shows!!!

They should have shown a proper Sikh. Otherwise sounds good!!

Saw it two days ago, just for that scene. Over all a good movie, same old story, chinese mythical powers, someone wants to get their hands on it.
