Religious Education Worker (Surrey) Sikh Academy located at 12895-85 Avenue, Surrey BC is looking for one Religious Education Worker for full time to work in the School Sikh Temple. Applicant must be Amritdhari, must have Post Secondary education in Sikh Religion and at least 4 years of work experience as a Granthi or Preacher/Katha Vaachik. Basic English and high proficiency in Punjabi language is a must. Must be able to perform job duties such as: -Provide Sikh religious education, spiritual guidance and moral support to school students. -Perform daily seva to Sri Guru Granth Sahib in the School Temple. -Motivate school students to lead disciplined spiritual life, train them to learn Gurbani and allied religious traditions.
