    Ear Pains From Patka

Hi, basically iv been wearing a patka, i do like it to be perfect - tightish and cover my ears, the problem is my ears are alright for a bit but as time goes on they just kill ;/ i know its not that i have to get used it as iv been wearing a patka for ages so... Im not looking to wear a turban as of yet or change the way my patka is tied etc or tie it under my ears. So anyone got any good/effective solutions for this pain? I've heard about the cotton wool but havnt really tried it lol seems a bit dodgy lol wont the cotton fall out or something lol. I put some vaseline on my ears and it does seem to help but yeah anything else? Thanks.
  2. Im still trying to get my mind around this ok Waheguru is perfect, how can i believe you killed my wife and everything is nice
  3. And more importantly what does Sikhi have to say about this? For e.g why do young kids get cancer and die early who haven't even seen life proper? Why do innocents get attacked and killed around the world? In 1 on 1 debates over the years I've asked many abrahamic believers to explain from their point of view why it happens and they tend to just brush it off as its "God' testing us" or "God testing them (the victim)". That explanation doesn't wash with me and sounds barbaric and cruel to put innocent souls through this. Especially as that implies abrahamic God isn't treating every soul equally and chooses who is to be treated worse and better and differently from birth. While abrahamics often say their God is just God and doesn't discriminate against believers yet many in birth are already dealt a worse card than their counterparts not even given a chance to fulfill their potential to prove their devotion or rejection of their God and their belief system.

    Pleasure And Pain, The Same?

I read this, "one who looks upon pleasure and pain as the same, O nanak, is not affected by sin or virtue." Can anyone explain in detail, how pleasure and pain can be experienced as the same? Facts please. And how is it possible to not get affected by sin or virtue? Thank you.
  5. Ok if people r gonna be immature about my issue that I'm about to discuss then don't even bother replying. Please don't be judging about my problem that I'm going to talk about as I'm quite scared and don't be calling me weird that im talking about this and everything. Yeah so I finally got my period after a year, yeah I know it's crazy and it doesn't seem right or healthy. After few mins my v****a started hurting and like I can't stand or walk. It hurts when I'm sitting or laying down. It's been hurting all day. On top of that I'm sick I sneeze and get a runny nose everytime I'm in my room it's getting better now but I still sneeze and everything with a runny nose even when I'm not in my room just lesser. It happens every morning and then it stops or continues for the entire day and now it's been what almost 3 days. But that's not the big problem here just saying how much pain I'm in right now with multiple issues I think my system is screwed up. My body is also aching not that much though and I feel broken but I think that's just cuz of my period and that im sick and got a fever and eveything for 2 days and that I'm finally getting my period again after a year. I was searching on google to see why I might be in pain and there are so many different possibilities and like its just scaring me. Also this morning I was laying in bed and like I thought I was gonna die and that my time here is up like I was literally frozen and I couldn't move it's was really scary and it felt like my atma was gonna get out of my body and I was gonna leave to some place really weird. This entire days been really weird who knows what's gonna happen still cuz it's only 4pm and the days not over yet.
  6. Aasaa, First Mehl: Having attacked Khuraasaan, Baabar terrified Hindustan. The Creator Himself does not take the blame, but has sent the Mugal as the messenger of death. There was so much slaughter that the people screamed. Didn't You feel compassion, Lord? ||1|| O Creator Lord, You are the Master of all. If some powerful man strikes out against another man, then no one feels any grief in their mind. ||1||Pause|| But if a powerful tiger attacks a flock of sheep and kills them, then its master must answer for it. This priceless country has been laid waste and defiled by dogs, and no one pays any attention to the dead. You Yourself unite, and You Yourself separate; I gaze upon Your Glorious Greatness. ||2|| One may give himself a great name, and revel in the pleasures of the mind, But in the Eyes of the Lord and Master, he is just a worm, for all the corn that he eats. Only one, who dies to his ego while yet alive, obtains the blessings, O Nanak, by chanting the Lord's Name. ||3||5||39|| It says God doesn't take the blame for the deaths, yet it says the Mughal was SENT as a messenger of death. So, God is responsible because he sent the killers. The question appears to be unanswered, it says "didn't you feel compassion?" Then it says "God is master of all", then says if a "tiger attacks a flock of sheep, the master must answer for it", so God must answer as he is the master of all, the sheep and tigers. Is the shabad speaking against Babbar? "just a worm, no matter how much corn you eat". Can someone explain this, if not, send me katha on this.
  7. Today I was walking around uni club fair. And was talking to a person who said something (nothing negative, just how he said it seemed rude). Why cant I get over it ?, my mind keeps thinking about it.
  8. How does karma effect the pain we will go through in our lifetimes? If one experiences a lot of physical pain and emotional pain in their lives does that mean that they have a lot of bad karma?
  9. This is a real incident. In Delhi, a girl had some health issues. Something came to her mind and she asked her father if they can have Guru Granths sahib ji’s parkash and path at home. Father said why not and this was scheduled. The girl listened to the whole path with true love and faith, when it was at the end, she thought I have heard that if you listen to bani with love, your mental and physical pains are vanished, but I am still the same. At that moment, the girl got sick, suddenly started throwing up, and bunches of “keerhe” came out from her stomach and she re-covered. This is the power of Gurbani, if we are true in paying attention.
  10. has anybody ever had hynotherapy, or NLP, for bad physical problems or pain? Or is it only effective with anxiety problems and addictions, etc?
