  4. WJKK WJKF I would like some advice please I have been having issues lately especially with work not getting on with my manager she seems to exploit every mistake I make. I’m not perfect if I don’t get on with someone I wear my heart on my sleeve I won’t associate with them which is bad as this is my manager. So she keeps emailing and pointing out my faults I’m getting really stressed I think it’s me the way I act. Other things in my life are not so great ie im putting on weight my Parth I can’t do properly I’m repeating a lot as well thinking im making mistakes. So I did a Hukam as I try to every morning : ਪਉੜੀ ॥ Pa▫oṛī. Jin anḏar ninḏā ḏusat hai nak vadẖe nak vaḏẖā▫i▫ā. Those who are filled with vicious slander, shall have their noses cut, and be shamed. Mahā karūp ḏukẖī▫e saḏā kāle muh mā▫i▫ā. They are totally ugly, and always in pain. Their faces are blackened by Maya. Bẖalke uṯẖ niṯ par ḏarab hirėh har nām cẖurā▫i▫ā. They rise early in the morning, to cheat and steal from others; they hide from the Lord's Name. Har jī▫o ṯin kī sangaṯ maṯ karahu rakẖ leho har rā▫i▫ā. O Dear Lord, let me not even associate with them; save me from them, O my Sovereign Lord King. Nānak pa▫i▫ai kiraṯ kamāvḏe manmukẖ ḏukẖ pā▫i▫ā. ||17|| O Nanak, the self-willed manmukhs act according to their past deeds, producing nothing but pain. ||17|| My interpretation is Waheguru is calling me the manmukh and that basically I slander and because of my past actions its all my fault. Is that right? Is there any way I can stop this or do I just accept that im the manmukh that I am? PhulChukMaff
  5. Guru Sahib is telling us something as a Panth: http://dailysikhupdates.com/same-hukamnama-for-3-straight-days-guru-sahib-gives-strong-message/
  6. Jaap Sahib is the morning prayer of the Sikhs. The Prayer or Bani was composed by the tenth Sikh Master, Guru Gobind Singh. This Bani is one of 5 Banis that a Sikh must recite everyday and is recited by the Panj Pyare while preparing Amrit on the occasion of Amrit Sanchar (initiation), a ceremony held to admit initiates into the Khalsa. The Jaap Sahib is chronologically the first Bani (holy hymn of Guru) in the Dasam Granth, which is said to have been compiled by Bhai Mani Singh around the year 1734. The Jaap Sahib is reminiscent of Japji Sahib, and is chronologically recited at second, in the daily morning prayer of a Sikh. Ki Aaganja Karami ॥ Ki Aabhaanja Bharami ॥103॥ That Thou art beyond impact of Karmas. That Thou art free from doubts.103.

  10. Let me put it very clear. This discussion will be between you and me only on the topic of Hukam and Satgur Parsad. If other members post then you and I will ignore their post. Do you agree with this? This discussion will be done because of your intentional disrespect toward Satgur Parsad. Read many of your post on how you are confusing sangat purposely. This discussion will happen with one point being discussed at a time or a max of two points that are closely related. I know how you like to jumble everything up to confuse the sangat. Do you agree with all of this? I am telling you this beforehand so you don't think I am trapping you in some discussion. I want you to come in completely aware of what the intentions are here as I have nothing to hide. If you are going to post any reference, then in your own words it has to be explained why a reference from anywhere is being presented. I will do the same. Do you agree? Let me know when you are ready to have this discussion.
  11. Free Will, Hukam, Karam?

I'm confused, someone said people have no free will. Do we have free will? Or does God do everything? So do we make a decision to Jap Naam, or does waheguru make certain people jap naam? If wahguru does make everything happen then why do we get good or bad karam? We did not choose to do something, waheguru made us do it. So why are we rewarded or punished for that deed? Or did that guy get it completely wrong?
  12. Is Khalsa allowed to rule? Is Raj a must for Khalsa? How do we justify Khalsa Raj, especially as Khalsa is religious.
  13. this is a slightly deep topic, so apoligies if u dont understand what i type, then sorry for not explaining it better : / . its a hard topic to explain.. we are all under the hukam of god. hukam maters. we also have percieved choices and actions that we percieve that we are making, as in, deciding to do sum paat for example. dhan guru naanak paatshaha defines a true human, a true sikh, a true muslim when they said >>>>>>>>>>>> sloku mÚ 1 ] salok ma 1 || Salok, First Mehla: muslmwxu khwvxu musklu jw hoie qw muslmwxu khwvY ] musalamaan kehaavan musakal jaa hoe thaa musalamaan kehaavai || It is difficult to be called a Muslim; if one is truly a Muslim, then he may be called one. Avil Aauil dInu kir imTw mskl mwnw mwlu muswvY ] aval aoul dheen kar mit(h)aa masakal maanaa maal musaavai || First, let him savor the religion of the Prophet as sweet; then, let his pride of his possessions be scraped away. hoie musilmu dIn muhwxY mrx jIvx kw Brmu cukwvY ] hoe musalim dheen muhaanai maran jeevan kaa bharam chukaavai || Becoming a true Muslim, a disciple of the faith of Mohammed, let him put aside the delusion of death and life. rb kI rjwie mMny isr aupir krqw mMny Awpu gvwvY ] rab kee rajaae ma(n)nae sir oupar karathaa ma(n)nae aap gavaavai || As he submits to God's Will, and surrenders to the Creator, he is rid of selfishness and conceit. qau nwnk srb jIAw imhrMmiq hoie q muslmwxu khwvY ]1] tho naanak sarab jeeaa mihara(n)math hoe th musalamaan kehaavai ||1|| And when, O Nanak, he is merciful to all beings, only then shall he be called a Muslim. ||1|| <<<<<<<<<<< the percieved control that we have, seems to matter, as well as hukam. y is this? i understand that >we are all under hukam. >there aint anything outside hukam. >only IF WE booj the hukam, >THEN nothing of us will be left, as we dissolve in god himself. end of pauri 2 in japjisahib.. if we can choose to deny following the hukam, then we are outside hukam. but, this cant be. i understand that we make a percieved choice of not following hukam, as in, to booj the hukam, but how can we even aim to say, "no i dont wana booj the hukam" if in effect, its hukam to say "no i dont wana booj the hukam" in the first place? there is no if / then we follow the hukam (or not), as its all part of hukam. ^^hope this lil bit is understood as its the main part / essence of my question. the only answer i can come up with to this 'lil' problem i have, is that guru G has told us a shortcut to god. as in, we can use our percieved control to aim to push forward in our own avastha. thus merging with god. .......... but then, again, it is only us percieving that we push to increase our avastha, cuz jor na mangan.. (the jor na mangan bit i do understand to a comfortable degree.. - as we can never understand gurbani to its fullest!) - jus to say, the jor na mangan pauri says basically that, we cant do anything, so we must naam jup. (cuz he is doing everything and seeing everything). i do want answers, but more so, i want thoughts on hukam and hukam boojna, and the idea of staying in razza (the pathway) of god. dhan guru.
