  2. When earlier I used to hear this phrase - " Chardi Kala" which for me at that time just meant, forward and upwards of a religious call! Upon some research on the phrase "Chardi Kala..." Further reading on the net(sikhiwiki) , led to find the following / appropriate for 2021 explanations. Chardi Kala means: - High spirits - Ever progressive - Always cheerful - Perennially blossoming - Unwilting spirit - Mind that never despairs - Mind that never admits defeat and refuses to be crushed by adversities - Perpetual state of certitude - Confidence in the ultimate victory of Truth over falsehood - Intensely energized - Ever–ascending state of the spirit As the curtains close on this Historic Year, here's wishing you "Chardi Kala " for 2021.
  3. Does anyone know who the writer of this is? Does any one have a written version? Also, can some provide the "lyrics" sung in this poem by Bhai Gopal Singh along with translations of each line. I understand most of it, but some lines by my current understanding don't really make sense.
  4. Taken from Facebook page of Bhai Jarnail Singh Journalist. Singhs from Mathana Village. 1 o' clock simran starts. 3 o' clock nitnem. All Singhs, Singhnia, kids tie dastaar on their heads. A few months back they have not even heard of Sikhi. Amazing. They love shastar and eager to learn Gatka. Very soon more will be ready to embrace Sikhi.
  5. Sangat Ji... Can you all please help and do a ardas for my sister health. she has lymphoma cancer and has a scan tomorrow to show her tumour has shrank. We pray to Waheguruji that this is the case else the consultant has said there is nothing else they can do. My sister is not even 40 and has two very young kids and is a very good person. Please help me Sangat Ji. Thanks you.
