  1. People keep debating about whether the world will end or not. But there's another question: Should this world end? We know the true reason for living. Simran, Bani, Seva. Reflect upon your own life and see if you uphold these principles. Do you fulfill your duties as a sikh or do you feel like you contribute to the disease that has taken hold of this world. This world is so lost and we as Sikhs have been given the responsibility to do something about it. But we don't. We squabble: over whose pocket the money in the golak goes to, whose jatha is following the more puratan rehit, whose right and whose wrong....the list can go on quite long. Where are the sikhs that people used to be in awe of? The sikhs who even going through such hardships still fought for the hindu family who had their daughter stolen, who still served others before they served themselves. Why are the gurudwara langar halls, and I'm speaking from a western point of view, filled with fat punjabi kids stuffing their mouths with samosas. Where are the poor, the needy for which this langar service was started. Why don't they know they can come to the gurudwara to get help regardless of caste/creed/race/religion? But I guess if we are not going to listen to parchar and give ourselves to sikhi, how are we ever going to show others how great the darbar of the guru can be? If the Sikhs of the Guru have failed in spreading Naam and Bani in the world, there's no one else left. So what's the point of prolonging it, bring on the fire and brimstone.
