As you might know I have consistently written on here that unless the youth take part in and start setting up management committee in the Gurdwaras then they should not complain when corrupt committees take over and use the Guru's Golak for their own personal ends. Well if you live in the London boroughs of Ealing, Hillingdon, Harrow and Hounslow then you can finally make a difference this time. For this time there is a Youth committee standing and these youth comes from various professional backgrounds and they want to make a real change to the way Sikhs especially the Sikh youth interact with the Gurdwara. They want the Gurdwara to be a place which welcomes those in the community who want to give something back to the community. They want to bring transparency into the functioning of the Gurdwara where the committee updates at regular intervals the Sangat about how far they have got to delivering on their election manifesto. There is only a week left to become members as the closing date for membership is 29th August, On the 1st October make a real difference and don't let the Gurdwara become a place where one corrupt committee is replaced with an equally corrupt committee.
