  1. What will happen after kalyug? I understand that some of you will opt for an approach explaining how it doesn't matter and I should just focus on becoming closer to Waheguru. I agree but I would still like to get an idea, I have heard people saying it will be a world full of Sikhs and need extra opinions as to whether this is true or not.
  2. I think the bottom line is, people wanting to join religion these days is just the same reason people join gangs, they want to defend their beliefs with the option of violence, people who have grown up in fear or wanting protection seek out these groups to become protected. Sikhism is not a violent religion, we do not go out of our way to inflict pain or intimidation, only provoked or in danger may we think about something like that and because of that people feel they need to leave. These days people, whether it be in religion, careers, gangs, organisations all want to be part of a group, to follow the crowd forgetting that the true purpose of life is to become closer to God, this idea has been lost amongst a lot of people and only when it is too late will they realise. They want to feel protected under mere mortals forgetting the all powerful creator, God is the one whom we should be wanting to meet, he is the one whom protects us when we may not even know it, always looking over us. The world doesn't need violence, intimidation or fear, what is the point in ruling a planet of death? this Earth is nothing, it is fake, a mirage. The true kingdom is the one belonging to God, whom he is the supreme ruler, the ruler over everything in existence. Science has corrupted the minds of the people, whilst finding cures for illness and disease it has allowed them to find a reason not to believe in God, the human ego will lead to the destruction of the non believers of God, they don't want to believe that there is a higher power, they think the human race is the most intelligent and advanced race in all of existence. Their ego will be their ultimate undoing. This is what I say to my fellow Sikhs, concentrate on your connection with God, rally with the true believers of God for everyone else is lost unless they find belief in God by themselves. They only have to look around in nature, look down at the tiny insects whom forage for food amongst the grain of the Earth to the skies where the birds soar across the horizon to feel the power of God, how intricate in design life is. How every living creature has a purpose in relation to all life as a whole. Religion only shows you how to connect with God, the practical side of it is up to the person. Do not worry about the people who leave Sikhism, who join other religions or those who don't believe at all because it is in God's will that this is happening, praise Waheguru, love Waheguru and everything will be fine. Even if you feel lost, with no hope, everything around you seems to be falling apart, the only one whom can truly pick up the broken pieces of your life and construct a foundation for you to build your future, is God. God is everywhere all around us, his essence is embedded within all of creation, embedded within the universe. His power knows no limits, so do not seek out mere mortals for help, do not look for the aid of mortals to build your future, it is only God who can truly help you, help humanity as a whole. Peace
  3. Hi, I've been a Sikh since I was born and I've never been a baptised Sikh (wear turban etc), I guess that means I'm not actually a Sikh per say. I pray and try to become closer to God but I've never been able to make the decision to be a baptised Sikh for various reasons. Will I ever have a hope of becoming closer to God like this? I've got a lot of pain going on right now and I'm hoping God will help me out. My Karma may be bad because I've been hitting rock bottom for a few years now and I can't seem to get out of this bad section of my life but I see people who are very cruel and barely do any good in this world and they have a comfortable life. I'm really confused as to how to stop the pain and sorrow in my life but I'm not sure Waheguru will accept my asking unless I become a proper Sikh.
  4. When I try to meditate and pray, my mind most of the time wanders off and thinks about other things, even when I really try to concentrate I find myself thinking about God and other things at the same time. How do you fully concentrate when praying?
  5. How does karma effect the pain we will go through in our lifetimes? If one experiences a lot of physical pain and emotional pain in their lives does that mean that they have a lot of bad karma?
  6. Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji ki fateh Hello fellow Sikhs, I am a Sikh recently whom has had his faith re ignited and I've been contemplating God a lot but there's one issue I can't seem to understand. We as Sikhs accept that prophets from other religions have been on Earth (I think) so that is stating that their religious practices hold some sort of relative validation in terms of their pursuit of God. In Christianity and Islam, God allowed sacrificing of animals in his name and allowed the eating of meat. Whereas in our religion all meat is forbidden and the cruelty of animals and slaughtering of them is forbidden. So why did Waheguru allow animal sacrificing in the past but made an exception now for our religion? This is just something I've been thinking about and would appreciate it if some of you could share your input!

  11. Dhan Sant Baba Isher Singh ji whom made Sant Baba Mann Singh Ji Pehowa Wale come into the light of God; they have founder over 50,000 Sikhs world wide including India, England, Canada, Australia, California ect. Showing so much dedication to seva and simran Sant Baba Mann Singh Ji have absorbed thousands of Sikhs into our lords sanctuary. They have also changed Pehowa humongously (they have killed the 5 choor {the 5 evil powers that destroy the path of light to god}vastly around their dhiraa). [however, as gossip and rumours and Kaljug is still spreading, it is impossible for people to realise how much shaktee or honour it is for us to actually have met Sant Ji Pehowa Wale. I have heard that people say "sant Baba Mann Singh Ji has been exposed" and this is a 100% so false! it's these individuals that have been corrupted with hells ambitions that they cannot seek love and truth] Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji (whom Sant Baba Mann Singh Ji absolutely adored) was one of the most remembered Sikh idols in history; as they persuaded minds of un-natural sinners to open up and see truth. Personally, if I had not bumped into this Mahaporak (Pehowa Wale Ji), I would be lurking in the pub down the street smoking and drinking ect... so much. I was so corrupted and dirty that it was not until God gave me the eyes to see compassion and humility of life which was clearly visualised in Sant Ji. It has been so honouring to meet up with Maharaj Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and Sant Baba Mann Singh Ji that I have embedded gods wish and engaged people to help see the truth . I have explored up and down England and Canada to exfoliate Gods message and hope that I will find new generations to help guide truth into this world. 13. JAMMU & KASHMIR (May 2, 2015)—Situation turned tense after the local Brahmin Sabha forcibly tried to take possession of Gurdwara Sahib Singh Sabha in Kishtwar, Kashmir. It has been learnt that some persons forbicly broke locks of some Gurdwara Sahib rooms and threatened family members of the sevadars. Belongings from some of the Gurdwara rooms were thrown out, along with religious articles. SSP of Kishtwar has promised to take swift action against the accused and promised to arrest them immediately. Local Sikhs have termed the act of sacrilege as cowardly and highly outrageous. A press conference was organized at the Press Club of Jammu yesterday in which Tarlochan Singh Wazir of State Gurdwara Board said that the act of violence at a historical Gurdwara needs to be dealt with seriousness. Wazir stated that yesterday, on April 30, 2015, some miscreants entered the Gurdwara after breaking locks and thrashed the Granthi. Wazir said that violent acts have continued against the Gurdwara and its sevadars since years. He informed that a case has already been filed against one Chander Kant who has in past tried to create trouble at the Gurdwara Sahib. He added that inaction in the case allowed the miscreants to enter the Gurdwara forcibly and throw out the belongings. The SGPC has condemned the incident and called for a strict action against the accused. History Guru Nanak Sahib stayed here at a garden of sidhas known as ‘Sidhian di Bagichi’ and had discourses with religious leaders. A Gurdwara Sahib was established here in 1916 later on by Bhai Sahib Sher Singh Kashmir. SIKH24
  14. What is the most accurate teeka of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in your opinion?
  15. What is that Tuk from Bani? or Rehat Maraydas that talks about the importance of saying fateh? Or like when two Sikhs meet they should say fateh? Could somebody please provide it?
  16. What can be done? None of the gurdwaras, sikh organizations, punjabi organizatins have come forward to lead a coalition to save our youth from killing each other. Why are there drugs in Sikh dominated areas? I am 30 years old now, and this is been going on since 1995.
  17. I found this today i was amazed Waheguru dhan teri sikhi

  19. He was invited to Ludhiana to lay a foundation-stone of the Guru Tegh Bahadur Charitable Hospital. When the Sant reached there, about fifteen to twenty people got up from the gathering and wanted to garland the Sant. Seeing this the Sant came back. The organisers went behind him and asked for the reason. The Sant replied, “To get up from the gathering and to garland an individual in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib is the direct insult of our great Guru.” On this all the organisers apologised. All of them were sent to the congregation by the Sant and he himself went alone. First of all he bowed before Sri Guru Granth Sahib. He told them that none is greater than Sri Guru Granth Sahib, does not matter he may be on some very high official position. The 300th martyrdom day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur was celebrated on 7th December 1975A.D. in Ram Lila Ground, Delhi. There was a gathering of about 22 lakh people. Everybody got up when Smt. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India came there. It was only Sant Kartar Singh Ji Bhindranwale who did not stand up and kept sitting. He condemned it in strong words from the same stage. Certain people spoke from the rostrum and said that Smt. Indira Gandhi has established relationship with Punjab. The then Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi said, “The same Delhi Darbar which had martyred Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur is bowing towards him on his 300th martyrdom day.” The Sant Kartar spoke after Smt. Indira Gandhi. He started his speech with the slogan : I may sacrifice my head but not Sikhism. He said in his speech, “In medieval period Rajputs used to get bounties after giving their daughters. Today this will be a curse on the Sikhs if they follow them suit. Therefore none should give his daughter to such a person who has himself insulted his hair.” He said the following lines from the Rahtnama ‘One who gives daughter to a Sikh and does not take anything, only he is my Sikh and would go to heaven.’ In an other sentence the Sant said, “We want to ask Indira Gandhi, who has managed the throne of Delhi for you ? If you have come to bow before Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur this is not a favour to anybody. Had Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur not sacrificed himself, some Muslim might have been on the throne of Delhi, who must have been circumcised. There would have been Islam on every side and Bibi Indira might have under some veil. “If the Prime Minister sacrifices her head as many times as there are hair on her body, even then she cannot pay off the debt of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur’s sacrifice. Howsoever big a Prime Minister might be, he is not bigger than our great Guru. Such a big Prime Minister should bow before Sri Guru Granth Sahib and we should not get up to greet him.” There were slogans on all the four sides on these words of the Sant. Only these words were the main reason of the tussle between the Damdami Taksal and Srimati Indira Gandhi. The Sant would never tolerate anything against Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Via Damdami Taksal
  20. Waheguru ji Khalsa waheguru ji fathe I want to know is it bad to do hunger strike like lots of Bhai doing in our guru granth sahib it doesn't says about hunger strike I wanted your thoughts please thanks

  22. Is it true that from naam simran during amritvela time that gives such a Sikh energy to go through the day even with lack of sleep. I've heard 1 hour of naam simran with full concetration = 7 hrs of sleep. Is this fact true or somewhat true? Of course Naam is source of food and energy but that's another talk.
  23. Quick question does using ridi sidi stop your spirtaul growth.. or is it still possiabable to obtain sach khand or must you wait another lifetime? Eg someone uses their ridi sidi but he or she doesn't show what he has obtained ( no ego) can this person still obtain sach khand and salvation?
  24. Wjkk Wjkf Is it true.. that specific pauris and gurubanis have specific effects and powers.. For instance it says that if you read the 25th pauri you will obtain wealth, need , virtue , estate .. or pauri 33 which supposedly elimates your karmas, or 38 gives you the knowledge and power to write your own destiny.. And jaap sahib; rouses your soul and allows you to obtain ridi sidi powers... So do specific banis and or specific pauris have such an effect, or should we just mediate on God and ask him for whatever we need? The effect of pauri and banis was written by yogis bhajan Singh.. aren't Sikhs against yogis and thier ways? So is he correct in what he says about the bani and its effects? Or is their an misconception? All help from gyanis, and other enlightened people will be very much appreciated thanks you.
