    Baba Sri Chand in Punjab

WJKK WJKF, Samgat jee, I've been doing some research about Baba Sri Chand and the Udasin Sampardamay, and something I didn't know up until a few months ago was that he is such a revered figure in Punjab! There are so many gurudwaras/mandirs with his name. In the pinds there are gurudwara/mandirs with his idols and photos. Even when I visited Punjab there was a pind gurudwara with a huge photo of Baba Sri Chand, and while traveling to Amritsar, there was a huge poster with a photo of Baba jee. Im curious about why Baba jee is so revered in Punjab. Its probably because of his history. His jayanti is a huge celebration. Some videos on what I mean just wanted to here the sangats thoughts on this, as well as Baba Sri Chand. Bhul Chak Maaf for any mistakes ?
  2. Many people suspect the chand torra on the dumalla of Nihangs as a hindu symbol as the chand(moon) is linked to hindu demigod Shiva. But there is a Chand Shastar of Guru Gobind Singh Jee. It is kept at the Historical Gurdwara of Laxmipur, Bihar. This is a sher panja shaster of Guru Sahib. This was worn around the knuckles as a knuckle buster, Laxmipur is a small village which has a lot of sikhs living in and around the village.
