  1. How can these Deras be allowed to exist still under the 'Panthic' Sarkar when they defame Sikhs and Guru Gobind Singh Ji? Why are the people usually critical of certain Sikh preachers, silent on these issues relating to Deras and the arrest of Sikhs who speak out against them? Is it because he is critical of Badal? Sikh bodies gave ultimatum to Punjab govt. to withdraw case and release Sikh Kathavachak Bathinda, Punjab (September 05, 2013): It is learnt that various Sikh organizations held an urgent meeting at Gurdwara Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Baba Farid Nagar, Bathinda on September 04, 013 in wake of registration of a case under section 295-A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against a Sikh Kathavachak Bhai Kuldip Singh Sakht. The case, which has led to immediate arrest and detention of the Sikh preacher, had been registered by Bathinda police on September 01, 2013 on the complaint of a follower of dera sauda sirsa who alleged that katha by Bhai Kuldip Singh prompting the Sikh sangat to follow Sikh tenets and remain alert of anti-Sikh activities of deras had led to hurting of his belief in dera sirsa. During the meeting the Sikh representatives stongly condemned the Bathinda police for registration of the case, and for arresting the Sikh kathavachak, on a bogus report by a dera follower. They said that the police showed extreem haste in registering the case and arresting Bhai Kuldip Singh. The police did not even bother to conduct preliminary investigation. The gathering also criticized Punjab government led by Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) and said that the case against Sikh kathavachak has been registered due to political reasons. “It’s an attempt by the Badal Government to please the dera and it’s followers” said Baba Hardeep Singh Mehraj, leader of the Shiromani Akali Dal Panch Pardhani. Baba Baljeet Singh Daduwal, Sikh preacher and leader of Panthic Sewa Lehar said Badal government is in it’s full to harm the Sikhi and please the deras. The gathering gave an ultimatum to the Punjab government to withdraw the case and release the Sikh kathavachak before September 10, and warned that failure to do so shall invite mass protests against the government and the police administration.
  2. PTI | May 20, 2013, 12.33 PM IST WASHINGTON: A US-based Sikh group has said that it will challenge the decision of an American district court last week to dismiss alleged human rights violations case against Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal. The Sikh for Justice (SFJ) had filed the case of alleged human rights violations against Badal last year, but it was dismissed by a US district court in Wisconsin last Friday. The group said it will appeal against the order in the US Court of Appeals asking for a remand to depose Badal personally before a US Federal Judge on the issue of the service of summons. SFJ has retained the services of a top Chicago based law firm and famed Super Lawyers "Pavich Law Group" with Ian Levin, a former US federal judge, who have experience in cases related to human rights violations filed under Alien Tort Claims Act and Torture Victim Protection Act, the rights group said in a statement. In its order, the US District Court in Wisconsin on May 17 ruled that Badal was never served with the court summons as being claimed by the New York-based Sikh for Justice, which had filed the case against him. In fact judge Jynn Adelman, in his five page order, said that Sikh for Justice came out with "creative" but unconvincing argument that the court summons were served to Badal, which indeed was served by Christopher Kratochvil and his brother on behalf of SFJ to another Surinderpal Singh Kalra, believing that he was the Punjab Chief Minister. "I have no doubt that Christopher Kratochvil and his brother sincerely believe that they served defendant, but I conclude that they made an honest mistake, one that was understandable under the unusual circumstances of this case," the judge wrote. In a statement, SFJ said the appeal to the US Circuit Court will be based on that "Judge Adelman erred in his ruling while dismissing the law suit on the ground that it is a simple case of "mistaken identity" and a US Department of Justice interpreter received the summons instead of Badal". Badal and his attorney, backed up by strong evidence from the State Department which had provided him the necessary diplomatic security, argued that the Chief Minister was not at the Oak Creek School when Kratochvill brothers claimed that they served summons to him on behalf of Sikh for Justice. The State Department testified before the court that Badal was shopping at a restaurant supply store, some 17 miles from the Oak Creek School. The judge in his order said that Sikh for Justice in an attempt to "overcome the strong evidence" in favor of Badal, made "a number of creative arguments" but none are convincing. Sikh for Justice in its court case alleged that Badal violated the Torture Victim Protection Act and the Alien Tort Statute in Punjab.

  4. It all comes down to economics and business deals. I've been doing research on the major politicans and players in the indian establishment it seems their all in one big kabal that is hording all the wealth and business deals away at the expense of the Sikhs political aspirations and ordinary indians who want a better life. I've looked into business background of indian army generals past and present and noticed they all have a stake in keeping the status quo as it suits their financial set up most are directors in major industrial companies. Too often people in our kaum start to look at things at a religious angle and start to think of wild theories that these people are all in league with some hindutva conspiracy the truth is the only conspiracy is they want money, and the greed and lure of money is what drives them no matter if they have hundreds of innocents killed along the way they want (the elitist relatively few) to live a comfortable life at the expense of others (the vast majority)
  5. PTI | May 8, 2013, 01.35 PM IST NEW DELHI: Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday to press for a Supreme Court-monitored SIT probe into the 1984 anti-Sikh riots cases in the capital. "We want that a special investigation team be formed and it should probe the cases under the supervision of the Supreme Court. There are somany cases on which no action has been taken like the Nangloi case which has been pending for 25 years," he told reporters after meeting the Prime Minister. Badal, who was accompanied by his son andstate deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, said his party has demanded that government should not appoint its counsels for arguing the cases related to anti-Sikh riots. "They have said that the CBI would appeal in the high court against the (recent verdict on Sajjan Kumar's acquittal) on the issue. We demand that government counsels should not be appointed for it and they should be outsiders so that justice can be done," he said. Badal said they have also demanded that action should be taken in the cases against Congress leader Jagdish Tytler also.
  6. I'm thinking they must have discussed issues that are currently arising between Sikhs in uk and india due to the mass protests last year regard bhai rajoana. so could it be that David cameron has conspired and assured badal and terrorist indian congress party that the voice of the Briitsh Sikhs will not be heard if death sentences were carried out against Sikh political prisoners? all in the name of keeping the status quo, economic ties against decent civilised norms of natural human justice, fairness and other human rights. Why hasnt he nor his ministers (william hague foreign secretary and home secretary therasa may) not spoken out against the anti-justice and anti-democratic steps and credentials of Indian government?
  7. Serious allegations made by Simranjit Singh Mann against Badal and other Akali leaders regarding their invitation to Central Government of India (Indira Gandhi) to assassinate Sant Bhinderanwale and later on the plan not to contest (by boycotting) the 1992 Punjab Assembly elections (Simranjit Singh opposed such a plan). These allegations are made as “TIPNI” (comments) on a news item posted at SAD-Amritsar website http://www.akalidalamritsar.in/detail1.php?recordID=1307 The text is in Punjabi, so could not paste the text here.
  8. What do you think or KNOW about the current jatehdar of the akal takht? follower? leader? abhyassi? politically motivated?

  11. Jaspal Singh, an 18 year old Sikh Boy, was an Engineering Student and was killed by Punjab Police, while he was peacefully protesting against hanging of Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana. In a related video on what is going on in Punjab, one can clearly see bunch of Punjab Policemen brutally beating and firing gun shots at unarmed Sikh youth who are running away to save their lives. And what is more appalling is that these Police Officers are themselves turbaned, and so at the least they look Sikh. So that leads me to the question - Why was an 18 year old Sikh Engineering Student shot dead by State Police, while he was clearly unarmed and was peacefully protesting? In an oppressive regime, there are broadly 2 ways in which a minority can survive. For the ease of understanding, let us classify the people belonging to the minority faith into Type 1 and Type 2 people. Type 1 people wake up every morning, and then make an effort to prove their allegiance to the Majority led State Establishment in every possible way. A simple example would be to sit in the middle of your friends, and crack jokes at your community, and show them that even though I am a Sikh and look different, but I am a harmless, spineless creature and hence, you don’t need to fear me. In return, these people are rewarded by the State, sometimes even offered leadership positions in the Government. Case in point is Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who has proved that he is the weakest Prime Minister that India has ever had. I can go on and on about Manmohan, but that would be digressing from the point. Type 1 people come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes, these people in their urgent and desperate need to appease the majority would commit the most heinous atrocities on people belonging to their own faith. The name of Prakash Singh Badal, the Punjab Chief Minister immediately comes to my mind. Other names include the so-called Butcher of Punjab, the super cop – KPS Gill and ex-Chief Minister of Punjab Beant Singh. It is not surprising that whenever Badal is in position, even peacefully protesting Sikhs are attacked and murdered ruthlessly in broad day light. This phenomenon is not new. Two Sikh boys were killed on March 29, 2012; however in the past also, 13 peacefully protesting Sikhs were shot dead in 1978, during Badal’s regime. How Badal protected the murderer of 1978 Sikh victims would be a topic of another discussion. One of the video very clearly shows the Punjab Police chasing and attacking peacefully gathered Sikh youth. They are firing as if they are at war, at war with the Civilian Sikhs, who are all hiding and running away for their lives. On their return, these so called police officers are hugged and cheered by the Shiv Sainiks, who are shouting slogans and chanting “Har Har Mahadev”; and hence these Type 1 Sikhs feel comforted by the precious approval of Shiv Sena that they have attained by attacking and firing gun shots at unarmed protestors. For me, the face of Type 2 Sikhs is people like Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana, as well as the people who are protesting to show solidarity with him. Such people would rather die than accept an oppressive regime, where the mass-murderers of Sikhs are protected and rewarded, while innocent Sikh civilians are killed in a State Sponsored Genocide. For me, the face of the Type 2 Sikhs is a young boy shown in one of the videos. This boy is clearly unarmed, but he is not even running away or hiding for protection, when the policemen attack him. He is just standing their quietly and taking pride in being beaten brutally by the Police Officers because he does not expect anything else but gross injustice from the Indian Justice System. These Type 2 Sikhs are not irrational or stupid; instead they just want to live with their head held high. They demand justice. They want to see the perpetrators of 1984 genocide convicted and punished. They want to see the people who killed thousands of innocents in Punjab during 1990’s through fake encounters and illegal abductions being punished; and until that happen there cannot be any sustainable peace.
  12. Many will have seen that in a live discussion show last night, 25th September 2011 on the Sikh Channel, Baba Baljit Singh Dadu Wala has officially and openly admitted having meetings with Sukhbir Badal of Akali Dal and Paramjit Sarna of the Delhi Gurdwara Parbandak Committee. He also gave both these enemies of the Panth a siropa!!! He admitted they have both also visited his dera. The live show was hosted by Raghbir Singh of the International Panthic Dal (made by Badal's poodle Jasbir Singh Rode and Dadu Wale) and in the panel was just Dadu Sahib and a Singh from his jatha. For the last few days people have been debating this rumour cannot be true as Dadu Sahib portrays himself as a "Panthic" leader, but a caller on Sangat TV also made this accusation in a live discussion show on that channel (he was however cut-off by Sangat TV at that time). It was after this when Raghbir Singh asked Baljit Singh Dadu Wala in Sikh Channels show last night whether this accusation was true. Dadu Wala admitted he had meetings with Sukhbir Badal and Sarna. He tried to cover this after by saying it was for "Panthic issues" etc, which is ridiculous!!! Why behind closed doors? Why was this not made public at a date prior to when the sangat questioned him about this? In regards to Sarna, it a well known fact he has been very close to Sarna for some time, which was shown last night, but he even tried to boast on live television the "good work" Sarna has done which is better than the SGPC and that Sarna is better etc etc etc. He was showing his love for that Panth enemy on live air. Both SGPC and Sarna are bad, but Sarna is pure POISON and much worse than even the SGPC! What a sad state of affairs...so-called Sikh leader...not a Sant, just a good politician. The lies are being exposed slowly automatically. The links in the chain are all connected, all are working together. Making foos out of the sangat. Corruption. Deciet. This is FACT.
  13. This issue was being discussed (off-topic) in another thread and I thought a seperate thread should be started with the information below to discuss this and state all the FACTS that clearly expose the reaility. The post below states all the facts (not nindya) which are important for every Sikh to be aware of.
