  1. WJKK WJKF I found this picture when I was google searching information regarding Akhand Paath sahibs. So I did more research and went back to find the source of this picture, and I found more pics that were quite concerning. https://picasaweb.google.com/sailesh.multani/AkhandPathSaheb#5603620664930583986'>https://picasaweb.google.com/sailesh.multani/AkhandPathSaheb#5603620664930583986 -- Caption of the picture says : "Guru's altar where the Guru Granth is kept" I Also found more pics of the same day program, I saw one sardar performing kirtan and many hindus doing pooja to Guru Granth sahib Ji. https://picasaweb.google.com/sailesh.multani/AkhandPathSaheb It disgusts me to see such pictures and too see how much beadbi the SGGS goes through. I don't know how anti-panthic ppl can get their hands on saroops. The SGPC should be giving out saroops by license and seeing and following up if the proper rehit maryada is being followed before saroops are sent out.
  2. I was just wondering if it is ok for a non amritdhari (with haircut) to read SGGS JI, and perhaps do roll in akhand path sahib? I know some gurdwara's ok it and some not. Please advise. what is your opinion? I guess no one is right or wrong.
  3. WJKK WJKF I was just searching around online and I came across this picture, was sort of set back by it. I think this is beadbi ( the pandits picture, I forgot his name all though, I do know he is highly regarded by hindus, and all the pooja things in front of guru ji) and It should be stopped, but then again I am sure occurrences like this probably happen quite often in India. I Although this one looks like it may be abroad. Take A look:
  4. yes but in the same place as idol worship :wow: if he was reading SGGS they are not following proper rehat.
  5. I think you could go if you are sure there will be no alcohol there. Practicing sikhi doesn't mean you can't be social and go to social outings. But you have to be aware that amritdhari's should not be going to places where liquor is being served, if you can be sure of this then you should go and be with your friends and colleagues because you will never graduate again! Just make sure this event also doesnt lead to any lustful activites. Bhul Chuk Maaf WJKK WJKF
  6. I am not sure, I was searching for sukhmani sahib on youtube and I came across this video. It angers me to watch, especially when It looks like it could be a SGGS. Any human can read and recite bani even if they are not sikh, but they should not do so while other religions are being practiced at the same time ( in this a mandir, in which there is idol worship). By the looks of it this mandir is in India, doesn't look like its abroad... WJKK WJKF
  7. Sukhmani Sahib bhog in a mandir... ? I just hope he is reading from a gutka and not SGGS Ji. :stupidme: :angry2: Take a look: Whatever he is reading from looks big enough to be a SGGS!? :(
  8. WJKK WJKF, This Is an out rage all over the world now. Outside of Punjab there also starting to have riots. Even Here In Surrey BC, there was a Picture of The Dehra Leader thrown shoes at at Gurdwara Sahib Dasmesh Darbar. I agree with wat is happening 101% ! What this Dehra did is Very Wrong ~ How dare someone Mach Guru Ji! I think this is a time were sikhs have to stick together.
  9. Guru Pyareho, Can u post these shabads in Gurmukhi font? It's showing as just a whole bunch of garbar WJKK WJKF
