proactive the main point was that Ambedkar was infulenced by the attitudes of the ruling akalis towards him .they realised after a word in ther ear from mahatma and like that the lower castes would take over the Sikh instituions and the higher castes would become a minority in thier religion, and so the akalis kinda cooled things off between themselves and ambedkar, so ambedkar got the feeling that again the akalis were putting thier personal ineterests andcastes aboove sikhi. its really a shame tho that ambedkar looked at sikhi thru the akalis when he should have been looking to the like of Sant Sundar Singh and Sant Gurbachan Singh, Sant Ishar Singh , Baba Sahib Singh KalaDhari and all the other mahapursh who would have given a better picture of Sikhi. How could Sant Jarnail Singh blame hindus on one hand and help them on the other? If you have heard Sant Ji's speeches you will know that he cited some instances where the jatha of bhindra-mehta had helped the Hindus. To say he had some emnity with them is a lie. He only had a problem with those who sought to dishonour the panth like the narak dharis etc... chatanga

Sant Jarnail Singh pleaded before Guru Sangat not to call him brahmgiani. He further stated that itwas Guru Granth Sahib Ji, not himself who had woken up the sleeping nation. As for the Sant Harchand Singh Longowal conection, Sant Longowal was gven the status of Dictator of the morcha, so why would Sant Jarnail Singh undermine Sant Longowal' status, and therefore the morcha? Think about it, any attack on Sant Longowal would weaken the morcha, and give the mahasha press and the raavan raaj dusht delhi hakumat more power. So if Sant jarnail Singh had any problems with Sant Longowal he downplayed them for the greater cause of the panth's freedom. And thats a lesson for us all here!!!! chatanga

Suraj Parkash is a mahan granth but it is not 100% accurate and most if not all scholars belive so. No one account of history that has been written is 100% accurate, or will be. Suarj Parkash isnt false in its entirety but there are episodes in in it which I have seen Gianis myself in India, say that this particular episode ( about Baba Budha) could not have been factually correct. How many Janamsakhis are there of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and how many points of contention are there within the sakhis. Same principle with the history books. chatanga

Banda Singh was caught when after being under siege conditions for many months and the provisions being emptied, the moghuls broke down the fortress door, and seeing little or effectuive repsonse from the starving Sikhs captured them, killing some as well. What more can there be to this episode? And Jassa you would do well to remmeber that Baba Binod Singh was with Baba Banda Singh at Gurdas Nangal whenthey differing over tactics wentthier seprate ways. Binod Singh leaving the fortress tried to fight his way out and became shaheed with his jatha unable to escape the siege. Also you would do well to remember that Baba Baaj Singh was also captured from this fortress and taken to Dlehi along side Baba Banda Singh. you call Baba Banda Singh an apostate, but you glorify Baaj Singh as a true Sikh of Guru Gobind Singh., when they from the time of 1708 Nander lived and died together. try answering the questions that some of the other people have posted here, instead of repeating the same thing over and over.

Brothers listen to wat Gurbar Akaal says, he speakin the truth. This argument will come up again and again and wil probably never be resolved. But you should stop denouncing one another. MahaKaal I must take note of your slur against Sant jarnail Singh of Bhindra saying he is a congress govt stooge. I know that some others have said the same about Baba Santa Singh Ji but 2 wrongs dont make a right. If the others says things you dont have to stoop to their level. If you visit any gurdwara that is run by the Nihang Singhs or the Taksal you will see the prakash of Aad Guru ranth and Dasam Guru Granthside by side. Its no twisting of history or inventing of history , its there before your eyes. go to the gurdawaras and you will see.

plz enlighten me where in Dasam Guru Granth Sahib Jee it refers to Durga as a worm.I have heard many times katha of chandi ki war but never heard this before. Its possible that it may be in one of the other chandi parts of the Granth. chatanga

Mahakaal duz not mean Shiv worshipper. Maha Kaal means Great Death. Guru Gobind Singh says this many times in Dasam Guru Granth Sahib. May the Great Death protect me. He never says may the ShivJi or Shiv gans protect me. Anyway you get Sikhs who are called Ganga and Shiv and Kishan etc or even worse names such Cameron or Kyle, or Callum. Whats in a name? chatanga
