Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Guru Pyaari Saadh Sangat Jio- As you all know Ishmeet Singh (Voice of India, 2007) has left us for the heavenly abode on July 29th. Ishmeet, with his modesty, humility, and committeemen towards his faith has made each one of us proud. With his "Sabat Surat" image, he has become a role model for many of us. There is an online petition going on to demand further inquiry into his death (which was mysterious). Also, a demand has been made to compensate his family who has lost their only son at the age of 19. Please visit the following links and support this campaign. A 26 year old young man, Kanwarjeet Singh Bhullar, is struggling for his life due to Acute Leukemia (Blood Cancer). Kanwar is a Mechanical Engineer and graduated from Shaheed Udham Singh College of Engineering and Technology (Mohali) in 2004. He went for a Masters degree in Australia. Kanwarjeet got married recently and immediately after was diagnosed with this deadly disease. The only effective treatment for him is available in Houston, Texas, which will cost a fortune (Half a million dollars) to the unfortunate family. His family and friends have initiated an effort to gather donations for him. People all over the world are requested to contribute as much as they can. Please go to www.savefromcancer.org and read more about this effort and this young man. Let's pray for this family and his young bride who is seeing her husband going away from her every day.
