  1. VJKK VJKF Penji, by double standards I believe you mean pakhandi/fake/hypocrites etc. Here are a few panktis. Some people don't like it when full panktis are not given and given in one's own words so Daas will show them in full. Maharaj Kirpa - I hope this helps. Vaheguru Ji.
  2. VJKK VJKF Saw that video recently - it is really really good. Vaheguru Ji.
  3. VJKK VJKF Nicely put Ji. Gurmantar was given to Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj. Dhan Guru Nanak is not gurmantar as it was not given to them but it is a high praise of them so there is nothing wrong with saying this but just don't get them mixed up Ji. Vaheguru Ji.
  4. VJKK VJKF Yes Ji, I've heard about them. Really are so blessed to even know about their existence. I've heard about how powerful and mahan they were. Vaheguru Ji.
  5. VJKK VJKF Maharaj Kirpa - thank you. Vaheguru Ji.
  6. VJKK VJKF Phaji, controversial means when you say something that is there solely aimed to cause public disruption. I ask questions because I have a genuine urge to ask questions which I have no other sangat who can answer. Sorry if you think I'm doing this to cause controversy as you believe it is my "penchant" to do so. I'll do my best to stop asking "controversial questions". I think a better suited word would be deep as appose to "controversial". Additionally, I do actually engage in veechar now and again Ji - not as lot as I used to do as I was on holdiays but I started off doing veechar before asking questions. Hope that helps and that I haven't offended anyone. Vaheguru Ji.
  7. VJKK VJKF chatanga Ji, I never said I doubt my gurus. I said that I find it hard to believe because of what I've been taught before and that I've never been given any straight evidence. If Guru Ji said this themselves then the conversation stops here but I have not said anywhere I doubt my gurus in the slightest. Vaheguru Ji.
  8. VJKK VJKF Sangat Ji daas has been blessed to hear many kathas on the spiritual side of Sikhi (bani, naam, Shakti of abhiyaas, avasthas of sants etc) and I've heard that among all the mahapurakhs Sant Thakur Singh Ji had the highest avastha? Is this true? Feel free to drop anything about any mahapurakhs or anything in general about Sant Ji. Vaheguru Ji.

    LIVING ALONE

VJKK VJKF Dont worry veerji, I'm starting to feel exactly the same way. Vaheguru Ji.
  10. VJKK VJKF Wait... God was fighting maya? How is that even possible? My head is hurting. Vaheguru Ji.
  11. VJKK VJKF I can accept they were around at different times and weren't in joon and everything but I don't understand this whole past life and being different people and not perfect and our sikh gurus in other lives. Vaheguru Ji.
  12. VJKK VJKF I don't know how I feel about this. I thought all the gurus had no past lives. It's just not right... how can a mere mortal do many lives of bhagti and become the guru? Not just any guru but the only true guru in this world and all the next worlds and are god themselves. This confuses me so much. I've always been taught that the gurus were god themselves on earth because they were one with god and god came themselves 10 times in the human form. But there are many mahapurakhs who are one with god so why don't we consider them the guru as well? I'm really confused and it's really shaking me... I just can't come to terms with this. Vaheguru Ji.
  13. VJKK VJKF Sangat Ji, just been watching a film about a guy who predicted the 2008 housing crisis and I was wondering - does bani or any bachans from mahapurakhs and or anything in Sikhi give us any predictions for the future? Vaheguru Ji.
  14. VJKK VJKF Sangat Ji, I've heard that a mahapurakh did a bachan that Sant Jarnail Singh Ji is coming/has come back? Is this true? Vaheguru Ji.
  15. VJKK VJKF Sangat Ji, I'm hearing that apparently the gurus had past lives. I find this hard to believe because I thought they were Akaal Purakh themselves so can someone please enlighten me? Vaheguru Ji
  16. VJKK VJKF That is so deep, wow. My stomach flipped reading that and I don't even know why. We can't even begin to comprehend what that means and myself have no clue what that means but wow. Vaheguru Ji.
  17. VJKK VJKF One must be very very blessed to get these experiences. If they happen after a long period of time then it means that one has done a lot of naam (bani or simran) to clean their past sins and then finally get the clean slate these blessings come. It's the aim for everyone to clear all their past sins and finally get to the stage where we can experience maharaj. One needs to be very very blessed for these experiences so just keep walking towards maharaj and increasing bani and naam and see what happens. Hope that helps. Vaheguru Ji.
  18. VJKK VJKF What do you mean by the above highlighted line? But yes this is true. Mahapurakhs see and hear things we don't because they are clean from within so they only see maharaj and his beauty and everything that's in that. Vaheguru Ji.
  19. VJKK VJF Sangat Ji, I'm hearing that Nihang Singhs put 5 leaves of cannabis in degh. What is this for and why is this? I mean cannabis... cannabis. I'm kind of (not) getting to grips what jhatka meat is about but cannabis? Someone please enlighten me. VJKK VJKF
  20. VJKK VJKF Penji/Veerji, I think we are exactly in the same boat. I have no clue whatsoever as to how a family can be against so badly. I think my family is actually cursed; it's the only conclusion I can rationally come to. Vaheguru Ji.
  21. VJKK VJKF I really like this. Personally I think if people won't change they should leave Sikhi rather than give Guru Nanak Dev Ji a bad name and put doubts in people's minds about what a Sikh is. Maharaj kirpa daas did parchar a few weeks ago and a gori bibi said during our talk "You guys don't drink? Oh, but you guys love a drink. I know if I wanna go and have a crazy night out and drink I always call my sikh friends. They love to get drunk and have a great night out." If they won't stop taking drugs and showing up sikhi then it's best the step out of Sikhi and carry on living their lives they want to. Not even just drugs but lame practises of ritualism (not even going to go into that; gonna get my blood building), sexism, hypocrisy etc. Try to stop them because they can't go against Sikhi like that but if they refuse kindly tell them to walk out of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's beautiful house. And so what if we have less Sikhs... the quality of those sikhs compared to the quantity of the pakhandi sikhs we have right now is much favoured in my opinion. You can have a ton of feathers and a ton of bricks and they are the same weight but when you need to build the building that we are trying to build right now then it doesn't matter how many feathers we have, they don't have the strength to build this building nice and strong and will never support the bigger picture of the huge building Sikhi is trying to build towards. This pakhandi feathers will never get close to the strength of the hardcore brick. And if the panth is only full of hardcore brick sikhs doing exactly what Guru Nanak Dev Ji said all the way down to Guru Gobind Singh Ji and follows Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj then when people look at the sikhs and think "right so this is what the sikhs are" then anyone who wants to be a Sikh will already have these qualities instilled in them day dot. Maharaj kirpa, the panth will prosper. Vaheguru Ji.
  22. VJKK VJKF I wouldn't say that's an entirely nice thing to say Ji. I don't take things to heart so it's okay. Just in future, some other people may not take it the right way and could retaliate quite badly so just be careful Ji. Sorry if I said anything that may offend you. Vaheguru Ji.
  23. VJKK VJKF Phaji, I didn't say Maharaj was wrong anywhere. I'm asking because I don't know if there is some reason behind it or if it's okay or not. Vaheguru Ji.
  24. VJKK VJKF Yeah but isn't it wrong to use animal skin if we aren't supposed to kill animals?? Vaheguru Ji
  25. VJKK VJKF Sanagt Ji, if we believe that Vaheguru's jot is in all then why do we cut grass and eat vegetables? Vaheguru JI.
