  1. This has been happening on such a wide scale throughout the UK and even throughout History and I no longer think this is an “Extremist” thing to do. We all know how hard Islam pushes conversion, and it’s reasonable to assume that Muslims would go to any length because of the Islamic justifications that they have. Calling those who aggressively preach Islam “extremists” is like calling Bhai Kaneya a Sikh Extremist, their both just doing what they are taught.
  2. “An 18-year-old British-Sikh girl, who converted to Islam as a teenager, tried to trick her schoolteacher into counter-signing photographs for a passport application to be able to travel to Syria and join the ISIS terror network, a court has been told.” If she converted to Islam, then she’s obviously no longer a Sikh, and thus shouldn’t be called one.
  3. ? I 100% agree with you, and couldn’t have said it better myself. It’s truly sad then Sikhs fight other Sikhs for petty reasons, and can’t even put aside their differences. It is well documented that when Sikhs run out of enemies to fight, they fight each other, but today we have clear enemies and can’t even put aside our differences for them. This kind of infighting is exactly what lost us the Sikh Kingdom. When will we learn?
  4. Some might, but most don’t. This is mainly because they reject the authority and beliefs of the Khalsa, otherwise they would have the dignity not to create their own Gurus.
  5. I do have ego, im not a sant like you, but im not the one who gets off on "trolling" and "baiting" people. Youre clearly on such a high spiritual level, that you can read peoples minds, and know everything about them, am I right?
  6. One post asking a question and a few comments debating ideas isnt "bashing", but hay, you dont know any better so its ok Yes, Namdharis have done way more for Sikhi than I ever could, lets see, they: 1. Created 4-5 human Gurus 2. Added "newly revealed" bani and "updated" the Siri Guru Granth Sahib Ji (known to them as the "Adi Granth") 3. Distorted I mean "discovered" new panthic history that just happens to fit their narrative perfectly. 4. Install brand new, (totally not Hindu) rituals 5. Do fancy kirtan (did you hear that? I called it fancy, you musty be triggered) As you can clearly see, Naamdharis (the true Sikhs) have done way more for Sikhizm than I ever could, I am the dust of the feet of the dust of their feet. VAHEGURRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO You need to drink some Amrit or something, youre way to hot with ego m8
  7. You cherry pick ONE topic I have posted about, even when I have made 8 posts, and only 1 was directly related to Naamdharis. I post more about the understanding the deep concepts of Sikhi, but you wont take that into account becuase it doesn't fit your narrative. I dont come here to play around, I only come here to get out of my intelectual echo chamber and get exposed to other views and have my opinions challenged. I have already been warned multiple times about this place, and it has been described as a "breeding ground" for narrow mindedness, but I still chose to come. You have done this on multiple occasions, so yes.
  8. It wasn't about "judging" them, it was about "tearing down", you can indeed "judge" (form an opinion or conclusion about) someone without resorting to tear them down. Concluding that someone clearly doesn't fit a definition does not imply "tearing them down", its purly objective.
  9. Im not as well versed in internet culture as you, but thats becuse I have better things to do with my time than troll people.
  10. It's called attention seeking, kid. Try to start waking up for amritvela and doing Simran, its good for you
  11. It doesn't matter what they are to you, to me, or to anyone else, the only thing that matters is the Guru, and the Guru clearly stated that from now on (1708) all Sikhs will follow the Granth as the eternal Guru. Using that simple logic, if someone doesnt follow the Granth as the eternal Guru, they aren't Sikh. The definition of a "Sikh" is literally in both Bani and Rehat, this isnt personal opinion, it's based on the words of the Guru himself and the agreed upon choice of the Khalsa Panth. If I identity as something, I dont automatically become that. If I identify as an attack helicopter, I dont automatically transform into an aerial vehicle of death and destruction.
  12. Nice try, but Naamdharis aren't Sikh. It's pathetic how to try to constantly bring up Namdharis when you respond to me.
  13. Why do you people care so much about his Fiancé shaving? She's not even Amritdhari, and thus not obligated to follow the same Rehat that Khalsa Sikhs are. As far as im Rehat is concerned, Sikhs are allowed to have an Anand Karaj with other Sikhs, and both dont have to be Amritdhari. You people judge womens Sikhi by their hair, but forget that even a lot of Amritdhari women shave as well. We as a Panth need to stop tearing down fellow Sikhs, especially ones such as Jagmeet Singh who have spoken against the Indian Government in defence of Sikhi multiple times, and even got his visa denied because of it. The enemies of the Panth want us to fight so that were too busy attacking each other to notice what's going on. Jagmeet Singh isnt a saint, but hes better than nothing.
  14. This guy has an "all religions are equally bad" mentality, and probably saw that Sikhi (what he refers to as Sikhism, lol) has very little dedicated opposition online and decided to start some.
  15. Can we please NOT talk about this? Since you mentioned a bomb, were all probably on some Indian watch list or something
  16. This has nothing to do with the post, and I don’t know why you’re asking me this question, but to answere your question, yes, I do veechaar with Sikhs. I am the moderator on Reddit.com/r/Sikh and contribute the most to answering questions. When I myself have questions, I come here to get a different perspective because I don’t want to be stuck in an intellectual echo chamber. Please, for future reference, please try to answere the question on my posts, otherwise If you have any personal questions you can private message me.
  17. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! Here is a question i I received from a Christian who is studying Sikhi: “If waheguru is eternal and encompasses the universe (but not limited to just the universe itself) and has existed always and will always continue to exist, how did ego enter into at least part of the world? if waheguru is inside all things including humans, at what point did parts of waheguru (by parts I mean humans, animals etc) get "infected" with ego? It would stand to reason that something pure like waheguru could never succumb to ego. for example the gurus or fully realized people will never succumb to ego again, correct? so if waheguru existed eternally, how did ego enter? has ego also existed eternally with waheguru? (I don't think this is the Sikhi standpoint). Is it possible for waheguru to cease existing permanently, or for waheguru to tell lies? I would assume that it would not be, since it goes against waheguru's nature, correct? Why would waheguru create confusion/ego/illusion and cause part of itself to be deluded? How do Sikh's know then that the Gurus never made a mistake, if as you say it's possible for a fully realized person to become deluded? Based on this, is it even possible that waheguru spoke some falsehoods or lies, even in the SGGS or part of the Sikh teachings?” How would you answere this question?
  18. LoL, yah man, I wanna terminate people with Turbans How do you know it’s loaded?
