You guys are missing the point here, not all tasks need to benefit us. Forcing khalsa raj, pushing for publicity isn't the point of seva. It's selfless service (Helping just to help), once you attach an agenda behind it, it's not seva. That's what Ravi singh does, seva.

Wouldn't it make more sense to remove udhaasis from the list, I mean the son of a doctor isn't a doctor; so why should the son of the guru necessarily be a sikh? Besides Buddhist and Naamdharis are closer to us than Udhaasis

I'm just saying a vast majority at this point are not ready for responsibility.. As for the disconnect between cultures; many do break barriers and props to them for that! But it's very hard, and at least in close distance there can be a little bit of sanjh of veechars before marriage, and families can meet face to face and resolve conflicts; not so easy in long distance -cultures are harder to be compatible with each other I don't think I have to go very in-depth in this last explanation; but it is very hard to find gursikhi in panjab now.. but again I'm not saying there aren't any gursikhs out there, it's just a rough environment in some places

That's why there should be a council (IMO) to evaluate parcharaks. This council could consist of multiple jathaybandis (as long as they are panthic) these councilers should evaluate each parcharaks kathas and interpret whether they stick to sikhi in there parchar. If they do, these parcharaks should be panth validated, this way no bozo starts using gurbani as a guide to Jesus..

It's all about habit, if you pertend like your awake, you'll feel more awake. If it's cold just start exercising warm, make yourself sweat.. These things work for me, I'm just putting in my 2 cents
