  1. what exactly do you mean by acting proactively? last time i checked they sat and protested with us during the 'beadbi of sggs' episode last year. there is no bigger threat than RSS
  2. bilderberg members are the architects of todays capitalism, and currency (central banking cartel). the rothschild have been funding both sides of wars since the days of napoleon. every war is a payday for the people supplying the resources. just another business. the media is theirs, they sway peoples minds to where they want it to be, get approval from them while they manipulate the entire situation and do what they want. then give you a <banned word filter activated> story on the news which surprisingly is very convincing to people also there is a google patent for television which states that about 15 years back they came up with a technology to emit low frequencies through your monitor or tv to manipulate your neurological mindstate. TV is the best weapon they could have produced. but the elite of today have learned from the mistakes of the kings and queens in the past and now run everything from the shadows giving people the false hope of government and democracy and what not.
  3. I've been outside of punjab most of my life but i still feel like my "punjabi side" is more pindu then regular punjab mannerisms; idk if that makes sense. i don't think theres nothing wrong with being pindu. difference in thinking and life experiences is whats true diversity. and thats what makes this world wonderful.
  4. you're right. i shouldn't have tried to justify. couldn't help it. y'all were going in on jatts lol but you're right brethren
  5. first off this guy was almost mentally sick to take his gift of a life over such a matter. shouldn't even have mattered what she was if she as a good woman. or he could've just divorced?? but i also agree with "MisterrSingh" that atleast he didn't inflict violence or end up killing the wife or her family. Which would actually have been a more probable reaction..generally speaking.. now I'm going to make a little controversial argument. the reason Jatts are sikh, muslim, and hindu is because its more of an ethnic group then a caste. now their is a general sense of pride in being jatt and not because they think they are a 'better caste', its more because of personality traits and that are common among them, and now don't get me wrong it is extremely wrong to demean other "castes" or any human being in general but technically Jatts are caste ambigious. for example even if you go to UP or haryana a jatt doesn't sit on the floor or something if in a brahmins house, as a shoodar would. someone said look at haryana but the "higher caste" are intimidated from jatts or jaats if anything. they might have made jokes on how they are hard headed or stubborn but no one really treats them a certain type of way. i just felt like i had to say something because I'm jatt and its like the post singles Jatts out for causing all the caste problems in punjab or something. my last name is legally singh and i don't use a jatt last name or anything but i still had to say something because everyone is not like the individual in the article. everyones getting married to everyone these days. you can't take this case from a pind and use it as a common occurrence with that being said. i strongly believe that marriage shouldn't not happen just because someone is jatt or bhaapa or tarkhan. only thing that should matter is the partner is sikh or not.
  6. i shall also partake is such festivities. i might even go around giving homeless people dollar bills today. this is the best news i could have possibly read today. waiting for my mom to get off work so i can call her and we can both enjoy this moment together lol
  7. i was hoping someone would tell me why they have issues with panthpreet singh, apart from the dasam granth issue. but i guess the best reason so far put forward is that the guy (the gurudwara pradhan that he probably doesn't even know on a personal level) stood in front of a republic day of india poster....... BRO...you can not be serious if you're going to hold something like that against any individual, we don't even know the circumstances of why he's standing there, what formal obligation he had to whom in his small community in Germany. come on man. and why is panthpreet singh responsible for someone character just because he asked him to come lecture at a location?? he's doing it for the path, he can't judge each and every gurudwara pradhan he meets. i know some good pracharaks that came to gurdwaras around where i live and not all the pradhans are the best people. now i shouldn't listen to professor Dhunda because the pradhan who called him is a wretched individual and he should've known and therefore turned his back on the sangat of that city? come one bro.
  8. i should give out mithai today!! hopefully they announce it at the gurudwara sunday. atleast one of these major bastards is dead.
  9. what letter of the alphabet do you need the name to be from?
  10. people want to call out panthpreet singh on being hindu in his past but what about gurpreet from california used to be neeraj kumar?? apart from the whole 'bachitar natak' issue why are you guys mad at panthpreet singh? he does good prachar and is good sikh. what else is the problem with him apart from that issue. when ranjit singh dhadriawala was young he let people touch his feet and what not thats why people opposed him but over the years he has learned became better and become an exemplary pracharak. as long as a person evolves for the better, you got to give him respect where its due. all these pracharaks were there when beadbi of SGGS happened but for sure didn't see gurpreet singh there. just because people have differences in their thought processes, the pro dasam granth group swears up and down that they are the one and only true singhs.
  11. half breed thought hmm...interesting choice of words. so tell me what offended you so much. because of different in perceptions of how we interpret the beliefs and that only you know and can judge which are right and wrong? or was there another topic in the other thread that got you going. what are you 14? you can't ask questions and have a discussion? whats wrong with missionaries in sikhs? I'm pretty sure the dogs aren't going w..t..f.. that doesn't even make sense loll what does that even mean lol only you are going w..t..f.. because i sense a lack of intellect.
  12. really sister...invoking ISIS with their shiv jadoo? do you know who armed ISIS? are you familiar with the world banking cartel? (please look up rothschild). war is a money making machine. the elite who control the world need it to happen. and yes there is elite who control the world. they are the chosen few who own the media, the currency, the energy resources, and the defense contractors. i dont know if i should discuss these topics on a sikh website but please do your independent research on these topics.
  13. i also think the explanation of keeping our hair told by the elders should run deeper than 'because we are told so' or because its tradition. its being content with the hukam of nature (or waheguru), which in turn humbles the ego which you need to control to have dar, adab and pyaar of the supreme being anyways. it also controls your lust because you are not trying to look sexy every day to attract the opposite sex. and of course we all know the reason for identity, which makes us stand out therefore making us responsible for our actions. for those who meditate, some cultures also believe that hair is your antenna to connecting to the universe. that is; if you believe in energy, vibrations and frequency that connects us all in this universe. for example native american used to be the best trackers but when they were took to vietnam, their hair was cut to maintain army regulations and they noted that they end up loosing their 'tracking abilities'. just an example. similarly 'rastafarians' also believe that their hair helps them connect to nature and universe, so they keep their locs. thinking out loud here?
  14. i think part of the reason is that our very practical religion has turned ritualistic. i see so many people talking about do this path this number of times and it will be beneficial. these practices lead to hollow beliefs. our 'PAATH' is guidelines to live and think. but if you don't know what the gurbani you're reading means then i don't understand how it could be beneficial. people seem to believe that if you do certain paaths that bad things won't happen to you. whereas bad things are the teachers you need to take your conciseness to the next step. sikhi teaches you to be mentally content in good and bad times. if you think nothing bad will happen because you do sukhmani sahib 5 times a day, then its all bad for you from the jump. for example (i know I'm about to get heat for this, o well): i still don't understand akhand paaths. people drinking hella strong cha and doing paath super fast and being up all night is not going to benefit anyone. but if we have sehaj paaths, and discussion of gurbani, now thats real saadh sangat. and doing the supreme beings 'sifat salah' in sadh sangat is what will lead to instilling pyaar of his naam in an individuals heart. and without that support you can't make it across "sansar samundar". i feel like theses ritualistic practices can't build the strength necessary to stick to sikhi. all you need is someone to come along and promise "good luck" and "good fortune" or straight up buying an influential figure of the community out (RSS has become an expert in the buying out of our leaders lol). theres still a lot of true singhs and singhnis out here though. just a thought...hope no one gets mad at me lol
