  1. God is omnipresent, lives in our hearts. It is something one feels and sees in this great creation of his. No one can miss him. Denial does not mean that he does not exist. He exists.
  2. Yes, but even those written in English are not very easy to understand. One has to struggle to know what the book is trying to tell you.
  3. @Redoptics You replied before I completed my prose! Read again.
  4. Don’t worry, God will create another sun for us, much more brighter and hotter this time. Everything will be fine again. We will all be out there in it over indulging with sun bathing as usual. God will never ignore his sun lovers ever! The grass will be greener, the sky pure blue, we will be embracing nature, with wind in the trees and the translucent tones of the river’s haphazard melody, burbling and babbling! We will hear the splashing waves of the seas and the oceans with glee, and the cows mooing everywhere. Everything will be back to normal as it should be. It will be perfect. God will make sure he has another sun ready for us. I am not sure when the wine bars or pubs will open though? Think positive!
  5. Gandhi wasn’t a brahmgiyani to comment on our Guru Sahiban. He was a confused old man and made a total mess of India’s independence from the British! As a matter of fact, he was the ‘misguided’ one, because he lost almost half of his country to Jinah. He should be remembered for losing vast parts of his country to the descendants of those rulers that were responsible for converting India to Islam. They tried their best but our Guru Sahiban put a stop to their evil efforts. If it wasn’t for our Guru Sahibans all his descendants would have been born as Muslims.
  6. They all have PhDs in crime that’s why they do what they do!
  7. Surely, there must be more than one way to serenade the Almighty? Schubert does it brilliantly!
  8. The Vitruvian Man is based on Vitruvian principles, (Vitruvius Pollio) not entirely though. The medium is pen and ink. The painting depicts Vinci’s keen interest in proportion. His male models were usually 6ft in height in most paintings, including his well known masterpiece ‘Mona Lisa’ with a weird smile! In the Vitruvian Man, we notice the size of face is approximately 1/10 of the model’s height and foot is 1/6 of its total height. Interesting. Many have endeavoured to interpret his Canon of Proportions but in vain. Vitruvian Man also represents cosmography of the microcosm. The drawing is definitely an iconic symbol of human proportions. The image is superimposed within a circle and a square forming an equilateral triangle between the legs, allowing Vinci to strike 16 poses simultaneously. Fantastic and inspirational work, not only for the Cubists but also for the Surrealists too!
  9. St. John the Baptist is my favorite ‘cos it exhibits his perfection of the sfumato techinique I believe. Giorgione is another example, perfect at applying this technique.
