  1. Firstly, collect all the Sikh Granths and store them outside of India in a safe place for posterity! Secondly, make your children aware of this and why this had to be done. Tell them to inform their children about this too. We will have to teach them the importance of this action and why it is imperative that this is passed on to the future generations! Teach yourselves and your children to recite Bani from memory but we will have to memorize it by rote first. We will need copies of our scriptures for reference, so, we will have to have them in our homes making sure we treat them with sanctity and propriety. We have to be strict with ourselves before we can expect the same from our children and the future generations that follow. It is time to save our religion and every single thing that is connected with it. It is not the time or times to be heedless or inattentive anymore. Treasure and cherish our Faith now our children and their coming generations will thank us forever for doing this! May SACHEY PATSHAH HELP AND GUIDE US IN OUR EFFORTS!
  2. https://www.facebook.com/SIKHCHANNELDELHIUNIT/?fref=nf This is completely ridiculous! A school teacher denying an Amritdhari shcool girl to wear her kirpan. If you watch this video you will also notice that the teacher has also denied the sacrifice made by our 9th Guru Ji at the Sees Ganj Gurdwara. I think this is what I heard, at least!
  3. Wow!!!! I never knew this, that's really great!! Chalo, it is nice to know that there are some children that are of higher avastas than their mums and dads at least, in our quam!
  4. I have never come across anyone with high avasta ever, either in the gurdwaras or anywhere in the classrooms!! My ajority are not even vocal enough! Plenty of oont pataang gallan karan waley ne!
  5. If parents hate sikhi so much how can you expect their children to love it? Nowadays, everyone has become too materialistic so they have little time to meditate or read the Bani. It is all competition these days.
  6. People were more innocent in those centuries and less materialistic. They had pure hearts so it was easy to have faith in god. As they became more materialist and engrossed in materialism they started questiong the existence of god which weakened their faith in god. People were not ignorant as you say but they were very innocent. Their hearts were pure and they were able to grasp the concept of faith and god very quickly. They were very lucky and blessed. Material progress has been the cause of lack of spirituality and faith in god. God exists and there is no doubt about it. To relaize god one has to look inwards rather than outwards. Instead, we are always looking outwards for inner happiness, we depend too much on outer objects to satisfy our need for happiness and joy. The more we own the more we wish to own in terms of matrial objects. We judge our happiness based upon how much wealth or material objects we own. While we are assessing and analyzing how much we have or have not we lose our faith in god and become atheists. We think we are the doers and our egos become inflated and then there is no going back to search for the lost treasure that god sent with us.
  7. Most people just like studying different things such as philanthropy or anthropology instead of politics.
  8. Try replacing it with mint or camomile tea instead. This might hekp.
