  1. There are plenty of pics/videos of them shaking hands. The wife only did that in some effort to appear more Indian, rather than be trying to snub Modi. That is hardly local attire, wasn't it designed by world class designers etc? At tax payer expenses. You don't see Modi parading around in lumberjack outfits in Canada. Real buffoon is Trudeau.
  2. He is doing a great job embarrassing himself. Worst PM Canada has had in a while. More focused on pandering to various groups for votes and being politically correct, than being productive. Considered a joke by most world leaders. He is a lost child. Will not be voting Liberal come 2020. Ps. Those outfits are condescending if anything.
  3. Them getting paid by Saudis doesnt have anything to do with this, in face it'd even benefit them to mislead the public and show lower Muslim numbers. India and Pakistan census divisions are a joke, totally different. They don't have Sikh selection because Sikh population in those countries are non existent almost, or just now growing. Your theory has absolutely no basis lol. There is no conspiracy to control Sikhs by rigging their census numbers.
  4. Do you have anything to back that up? Or just a gut feeling? The whole concept sounds ludicrous. Why wouldn't they downplay Muslim numbers? The REAL threat in UK. Sikhs are no threat to the British establishment.
  5. They're all basically in Handsworth lol. To the OP, there are countless Gurbani centered pages, so what if one focuses on a taboo hush hush topic. You're mad they're calling out Muslims?
  6. Doab, urban or rural is majority Hindu, in most areas. Urban areas of malwa have significant Sikh populations, and rural areas are heavy Sikh majorities. But Majha will always be Sikh heart of Punjab.
  7. Looking at the census, Sikhs are about 10% of the city. Surely there must be areas in these cities with 30-40% of the population being Sikh. Or is 50%+ considered a Sikh area? ? Do these areas have any youth remotely similar to shere Punjab etc? Or is UK a lost cause basically? Even the 2011 riot footage, most of Southall vigilantes seemed like new immigrants or uncles lol, not many youth.
  8. Lmao. Always see UK Sikhs complaining that there are no more Sikh areas. Surely must be some considering it's one of the largest Sikh populations in the world. "Sikh flight" definitely isn't occuring in Canada as a trend.
  9. What do you guys consider a Sikh area? Like 30-40% population is Sikh? Or does UK have strong majority Sikh neighborhoods?
  10. Please don't put words in my mouth. O.p just presented a backwards opinion. I do however agree that modern day feminism is a cancerous movement.
  11. Wow. Put all the blame on women? Regardless, divorce rates in our community are now higher because it is not nearly as taboo as it was before.
  12. I think he purposely called it that, wanting it to bring it down to the level of an "ordinary" gurdwara. The countryside in malwa is also heavily populated by Sikhs. It's Doab where Sikh are a minority.
  13. Could be, tried finding this kirtan on YouTube. No luck so far. Thank you though.
  14. Came across this video. Any idea who the kirtan jatha is?? This sounds amazing, and I've been trying to find it. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you
  15. Lol he's lying. He's probably mentally ill. Its all load of b.s.
  16. They're only doing this since their SAD masters are no longer in charge. Now, together, they will suck up to the Sikh Kaum for votes come next election.
  17. You say it as if we have been sleeping, Canadian Sikhs have been at the anti-India forefront since day 1. Most of our Gurdwaray are not in the hands of Communists, Indian Nationalists, Moderates etc. Sure, a couple are, but that's worldwide. Our committee members are angels compared to UK ones.
  18. It's hardly a religious occasion, so who cares. Its a time to get together with family, and some excitement for kids. However, I do not support shunning our own holidays at the same time.
  19. Point of roka/thaka was back in the days it was for the families to say "hey this is settled! We wont look for any more partners for our kid, and nor will you."
  20. I can agree it's turned into bit of a marketing thing for SJW's, I don't think initially when it was a one man show it was about marketing. And I don't think we have world's worst drug epidemic.
  21. Well he obviously didn't want to say much over the phone. Probably didn't want to incriminate himself. I wouldn't put these actions beyond 80% of these so called babay/gianis.
  22. Ah, I see. She's probably doing it because it's meaningless and because this one small step is going to bring a whole lot of benefits. I don't believe their baptism is like Sikhi baptism.
