Paaji most likely I've seen that other website before and also the pics, please post either the picture or the website. You don't have to do it here just do it in personal messenger but trust me you are doing a great seva by doing this. I urgently need those bairagan pictures for my Baba Ji in India, he needed another one and it has to be made soon. Thats why I urgently need to see the picture so the carpenter can make it. It's not like you're doing wrong thinking or maareh kam by simply posting a website.

It's like that post has magically disappeared. The bairagan shown in that post was supposedly the actual one used by Baba Nand Singh, it was on display outside some gurdwara. It had a flat square base and the spine of it was a spiral going round and round (like the one Baba Nand Singh is holding). Also the top part was longer. Too bad I cant find it now. Ive searched and searched and searched, I cant remember if it was this forum or another one. Thanks though.

A 'bairagan' is the t shaped wooden stick that mahapurakhs like Baba Nand Singh Ji would use when in mediation for long periods of time. Does anyone have a picture of the 'bairagan' on its own? I remember not long ago I came across a forum thread where a user was asking what the 'bairagan stick' was used for and he also made his own custom one. He included the pictures of his bairagan in the thread but I am having a lot of trouble trying to find to find this thread again. A modern image of Baba Nand Singh Ji's bairagan on its own was also in this thread and I have been effortlessly searching this for about 2-3 nights because I wanted to make my own and this picture was a very great example. For some strange reason I cannot find it, someone can find it I will be very thankful. It really is STRANGE, the thread seems to have vanished without a trace, I typed in something like "mahapurakh stick" on google not long ago and the thread would come up but now it is nowhere to be found. The user was simply asking what the bairagan was and then included some really good pictures of it later which I REALLY NEED. If you manage to find them please help.

For a very long time now I have been trying to play a shaan on my vaja just like the one Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Rara Sahib Wale used to play in his diwaans but I find it extremely difficult to do so. I wanted to ask if anyone knows how to or knows anyone that can, or anyone that might be able to play their own by listening to it and then making a video tutorial of it. It's a really hard task, I'm not that experienced with harmonium anyway. By the way there is one guy that I know of that plays the shaan EXACTLY 100% just like Maharaj, he is the son of Bhai Ajit Singh Swindon and sits alongside him and plays it at the beginning of their diwaans. I once approached him and asked him myself but he told me he's extremely busy all the time and just practice but I have tried for ages but to no avail. I have uploaded 2 soundcloud files of the shaan which you can listen to from Bhai Ajit Singh's diwaan that are played by his son (THEY ARE 100% CLOSE to Maharaj's shaan). I have a question. Basically I started reading an edition of the ‘Sukhmani Sahib’. I believe it’s the 2002 edition that was edited by an Indian author named Harbans Singh Doabia. It contains the original Gurumukhi script and roman textures and also features an English translation. I was reading the ‘preface’ which is at the beginning of the book and gives a slight introduction; however I came across a piece of text which I found quite intriguing. This is the text quoted “The Sukhmani Sahib does confer peace and all Divine Gifts on the sincere devotee by his constant worship, remembrance and repetition of the name etc. This name is ‘Waheguru’ as ordained by the Satgurus. Sincere prayers and following the ways shown in the sacred Gurbani will enable the sincere devotee to come in contact with the ‘WORD’ (which is unbounded and cannot be written in back and white and which possesses all the virtues and powers of God).” That was the text I didn’t quite understand. It also went on to say “It is submitted that the ‘Shabad or Word’ has been described in various ways by the Gurbani. For instance it is mentioned as ‘Naunidh Naam’ (Ambrosial Divine Name, see Astpadi 23-i). We have to discover and see the divine within us, as ordered by the Satgurus. This subject will be dealt with in some details somewhere else. My question is what is this ‘WORD’ referring to? Or even more what is this ‘WORD’? I was thinking maybe it was referring to the name ‘Waheguru’ at first but that’s not possible since it already mentioned ‘Waheguru’ several times. Is this ‘WORD’ actually mentioned somewhere or does the individual just come to the realisation of it? What intrigued me the most perhaps was when it mentioned “possess all the virtues and powers of God”. At this point I was thinking maybe it’s not referring to a word but maybe a being, a ritual, God itself, another name of God. Anyone who is educated in this topic and knows a lot, please answer this question for me and give a good explanation. I would love reading the answer behind this.
