  1. Good bye Hindustani, your sneaky games of trying to put doubt in people's minds about Sant Ji have failed. You started the post by providing no sources for the statements you made. You ignored the requests for sources. When others replied with facts and sources it became too much. So I bade you farewell. Have success somewhere else, someday you may find time to read up on Panjab after partition and the injustices to the Panjabi's and not just the Sikhs. As much as you would like to believe we have hatred towards Hindu's you are very wrong. We will defend the rights of anybody who suffers injustice. Hindu's are not the enemy, the enemy is the right wing fascist policies of the centre.
  2. Hindustani, It's very unfortunate that you have chosen this forum to peddle the lies of the largest democracy in the world. Your views may have been supported 30 years ago. But after 30 years of false propaganda, the new generation are a lot wiser and have done the research. Slowly the truth is coming out and people can make up their own minds. It's very cheap to provide little snippets of speeches of the greatest sikh of our time. Why don't you listen to complete speeches of Sant Ji and then see the context in which it was said. Please do your research and understand all the forces that were conspiring to make Panjab spiral into destruction. Read the many books written by retired police DGP's and intelligence staff to understand the covert war that was engineered by the congress government. If you have 5 mins take a look at this article, written in a newspaper which you would probably say is credible. Oh and by the way the person in the article is a non sikh. http://www.thehindu.com/news/national/defying-censorship-the-reporter-who-exposed-the-killings/article4798103.ece Do me a favour and go and spew your half baked accusations on another forum. It's gets boring having to read this childish drivel
  3. As much as it pains me to see the nutty professor and his mob getting stage time and trying to use the issue to push their own agenda. I would like to know where are the sant samaj hiding and where is dhumma babaji. This is the time to stand up and take sides. Sant samaj have shown where their loyalties lie. Dadu sahib wale and Ajanala Ji are the only two who have stood by Bhai Sahib Gurbaksh Singh. This is not the time for certain panthic leaders to use their PR machine to show solidarity. Walk the walk don't talk about Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Ji from your divans this is just paying lip service. Shashi Kant has made it clear what Badal's role was in 1984. Yet our panthic leaders still touch his feet and hide away while this is going on.
  4. Chandigarh: "Anything connected with Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala should be banned and made an offence," said former Punjab police chief KPS Gill while referring to the controversy over Punjabi movie "Sadda Haq", that is based on the Khalistan movement in Punjab. Just two words to the drunken molester SHUT UP !!! Have you forgotten what you did to Mrs Rupan Deol Bajaj at a private house party in 1988. That wouldn't go down too well in today's climate in India.
  5. Any reps from the established jathebandies who keep telling us not to be too critcal as they are doing a lot behind the scenes. I'm sorry, but I salute NSYF for stepping up. We know SCUK are working with Shepherds Bush gurdwara, but it would be good to see some statement however brief. We are into the second week and we have seen no response from any of our so-called panthic leaders. Are these your true colours when at the time of need you all hide.
  6. Sikh media is a big thorn in the side of India. The biggest threat to them is the uncensored news and news crews especially Sikh Channel who get their crew on the spot straight away. Also the fact that the whole world can see the blatant disregard of human/civil rights now that we have TV cameras in Punjab. They will use Bhai Jaswant Singh Azad as an excuse, so his name gets tarnished and they also get to use him as an excuse to try to silence other people of interest to them. India have used this tactic many times in the past. Where they will discredit people who have been doing seva of the shaheed families. Bhai Jaswant Singh had gone to Panjab to distribute money to familes of shaheeds. Money that he had collected in the UK. He has been doing this for several years. But India thinks its a crime for Sikhs to support families of our shaheeds. Only in India, the worlds largest democracy, can this happen.
  7. SFUK......who in the federation was in charge of branding ? The silence is deafening...where are all those panthic leaders who show us their 12 month achievements and give us the program's for the next 12 months. They keep telling us they have educated people who are able to communicate. They also boast of links with the political parties. Will we get any support or will you just expect us to keep supporting you. SIkh Council, Sikh Federation. Will you be releasing a statement anytime soon ?
  8. I'd like to see the medical report of the life threatening injuries he sustained on the attempted assasination attempt. How did he know they were khalistani's who attacked him. But if you are General Brar, you get used to the smell of poop. After all back in June '84 you defintely pooped when "they fought like tigers" you must have filled yer boots as you saw hundreds of your highly trained killers being laid out by a few dozen gursikhs with old dated weapons.
  9. The recovered cellphone trick is a well known trick that is used. To randomly pick up people of interest. No one knows the details on this so called cellphone and the security agencies can pick anybody up. Back in the 80's before the cellphone days it used to be a diary/notebook recovered from a jujahroo. No one would be any wiser and lots of arrests were made. No one ever saw the contents of the notebook it was all fabricated. They will use this tactic to silence the azaad sikh voice. Where are our jathebandia now, only two weeks ago they were all holding big conferences with big plans. Why are they silent. Not a squeak from any of them. What use are links with MP's we need statements from those panthic leaders who claim they represent us. Its been 5 days. normally we cant shut you guys. You know who you are and you do read these forums.
  10. When I heard the news lat night i too felt dejected. But the point here is that there is a bigger plan, who knows how this is going to pan out. The whole story does not make any sense and there are so many inconsistencies and questions that remain unanswered. The bigger plan is to demoralise and make the Sikhs look incompetent and violent. We have to rise up and understand that this is not an open and shut case. Sikhs have had too much good western press in the last couple of months. India has to tarnish them as they are starting to get credibility in the west. Also we are starting to unite on issues and having a collective voice. We have uncensored news coming out of India and that is making India uncormfortable.
  11. The game being played by India is no different to what was done after 1984. It was during Rajiv Gandhi's visit to the Uk in Oct 1985, when they arressted 3 Leicester sikhs for planning to assasinate him. In the same year they arrested another Sikh from Gravesend for the attempted murder of congressi Sohan Liddar in Luton and murder of congressi leader Toor in Southall. The most famous case of all was Karamjit Singh Chahal's arrest under the National Security Act in 1990. http://www.independe...re-1601947.html All these sikhs spent several years in jail with no evidence. The reason for their imprisionment was to please the indian government and the indian government returned the favour by doing trade with Britian. In Karamjit's case, Britain sold its already scrapped aircraft carrier Ark Royal. All these sikhs were not leaders in there own right but they were the ones that were charismatic and seen as the most influential and they had to be silenced. The arrests last night are nothing new they are just a way to tarnish the sikhs. Like I have said before. India is very uncomfortable with the Sikh voice abroad, the game has chnaged now. India cant hide its human/civil rights opression any more. Sikh TV/Radio are providing news as it happens. They need an excuse to suppress any memorials to our shaheeds.

  13. His joke interview yesterday, it was obvious he didnt have his throat slashed as he claims. It would be interesting to see the medical report to see the exact extent of his injuries. His body language showed he was making it all up. He tries his best to say it was knife, kirpan, dagger. Just to make sure the Sikhs were blamed. I think the real issue here is that Sikh Media and the recent successful campaigns (visa's declined for Tytler, Kamal Nath not welcome, EDM etc.) that are being executed are having an impact. SFJ is singlehandedly embarrasing India with the great work it is doing. Likewise the lobbying and the Sikh media in creating public awareness of what is happening in Punjab is having an impact. Our media now needs to raise their game and be smarter and review news reports before airing them. They need to have hosts and pannelist's who actually have brain cells before they start spouting BS. If we are not careful, OFCOM will start hurting the stations financially, if we keep making wild hot-headed speeches. All it takes is a single complaint from a viewer.
  14. I think you are confusing Jageero (Jagir Kaur, SGPC ex-President) and Bibi Jagdish Kaur. I couldnt even mention Jageero in the same breath as our heroic bibi who was giving the interviews. Your point is valid, I think with the resourcing and financing, the channels are not able to provide this. Instead we should offer this service ourselves. I'm sure there are plenty of sikhs who can either help out the channels or post a subtitled interview on YouTube. Either way the channels would be grateful if this is done and they would happily re-broadcast it. I do believe the channels will get better over time and start doing this, once the financial side is sorted out.
  15. As if the Southall committee has ever cared what the sangat think. They have never done that in the past and I can’t see that changing. The presidentship of Singh Sabha Southall is a political seat and religion has never come into it. Sorry if this has caused shock to any body.
