  1. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh ji thats the first iv heard of it...tho i have seen quite a number of namdharis performing kirtan at Gurdwara sahibs. They are pros when it comes to kirtan...
  2. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh ji ooo thats a toughy...got me thinking. We've gota love the AK47 yeah?! but theres an israeli version!! the Galil - basically the new improved AK47. so i'd have one of those coz they're simply just badass. errm i quiet fancy the MIB sort of guns too...something about them. but until the uk gov gives me special privilages, im pretty arsenal-less :surrender: Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh ji
  3. ok the first part of your message makes little sense to me...i dont see what you've based half of that on. :blink2: awks. WE have given death penalty to Afzal Guru?! come again please. I most certainly did not :wow: nor did anyone I associate myself with. Infact the my 'we', very much opposed the death penalty since Afzal Guru was most likely innocent. so u and ur indian brethren may have, but please dont make the mistake of counting me as one of them. 'the 'p*kis' killed sarabjeet'...your level of maturity is admirable. which gurus suffered due to muslims?! my gosh what religion do you follow?! MY Guru Maharaaj is well beyond suffering. May I remind you, during mughal rule (they were hardly the best example of muslims), approx 50,000 sikhs were killed. During hindu rule, i.e. 1947 to date, over 150,000 sikhs have been killed. yet you would rather side with them. When our Guru Maharaaj showed no hatred, yet love towards muslims, who are you to hold emnity against them? 'I respect Gurbani n its words...but I can't forget my Dad's pain so easily'. Your hatred for muslims is more than your love for Gurbani and your Guru. Our Sarbans dani Pita feels no pain. Keep your hatred to yourself. theres enough of it without our own brothers and sisters spreading more enmity amongst ourselves and other communities. I hope your hatred dies down Gurpreet. 'Jin prem kio tin he prab pio'. Thats all i have to say :biggrin2: this will be my last response to you. Pul chuk muaf ji. :respect: Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh ji
  4. who is this dude? of nirmal "kutia" johal or something...hows that pronounced? awkward.... no offence to the guy
  5. hell yeah i love terrorism! Sikhi does not advocate hatred towards others especially not on grounds of religion. ur anti-islamic views have been made quiet clear. yet you forget that when you bow ur head to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaaj, ur head is also bowed at the feet of Bhagat Kabir Ji, Bhagat Farid Ji, Bhagat Bhikan Ji and Bhagat Sadhna Ji - all of Islamic heritage. So according to ur theory, they too loved terrorism yeah? Since they were of Islamic heritage. o mention not ji. (the thanks bit :biggrin2: )
  6. At my local gurdwara in UK, there was an elderly muslim who used to attend every sunday. Old guy, traditional garb, beard no tash n topi. He would sit further front than most the sangat. As for sidhu, from what angle does he look kesadhari. His beard is clearly trimmed. His blackened his own face with hair dye, just lacking a garland of shoes. Ur ok with a gursikh offering prayer in church or mandir but ur blood boils at the thought of it in a masjid?! Are u 14 as ur name suggests? GROW UP
  7. you dont need an indian passport for an oci. one of ur parents must be of indian decent- u just have to prove this with i.e. ther current or old indian passport. which they must have surrendered- you will also need their surrender letter. If they have been using their indian passport whilst having a british passport, they will be fined before the oci goes thru. but thats only if mr taklu raam at high commission clicks on. the high commission is just as messed up as the country. good luck getting thru on the phone. n if u finally do get thru, good luck understanding ther Hinglish
  8. I cant help but laugh at their ignorance. Uneducated idiots. They might want to apply for a place there...
  9. I've emailed a complaint to colors tv, no response. I emailed viacom18 asking them to tell me the procedure of complaint, no response. This was around 2weeks ago.Sikh coilition USA have also not responded. Neither has United Sikhs UK. So i guess im twiddling my thumbs until the programs broadcast and then see how far my complaints taken with ofcom
  10. Bbc and th daft bahman asian netwrk presenter need to learn to keep their nose out of our internal matters. What business is this of theirs?! And as hammertime pointed out, WE ARE BRITISH SIKHS!! And so we're recognised by th institution! Whats with branded us indians n asians. Racist b******s
  11. Since the tv show has not yet been broadcast, ofcom can not not and will not do anything about it. So until the shows broadcast, theres nothing much we can do since, as you said, the hindutva media will ignore our complaints...
  12. They look bloody tacky!! They also spray the chemically fragrance to quite a distance, in such close proximity to Maharaaj... We dont consider the affects all these modern chemicals have on our heritage! What is the point of any fragrance in Darbar Sahib since the amazing architectural splender ensures there is ample cross ventilation at all times. Secondly, my nose goes numb as soon as i step out of the plane in india...
  13. AND THIS IS WHAT OFCOM HAVE TO SAY: We do not watch or listen to programmes before they are broadcast. If you would like to complain about a programme that has yet to be broadcast, you should contact the broadcaster directly. http://consumers.ofcom.org.uk/tell-us/telecoms/tv-and-radiox/a-specific-programme/
  14. http://www.parliamentlive.tv/Main/Player.aspx?meetingId=12646&wfs=true 11:30 to 14:00, the Kesri Lehar Campaign, Early Day Motion 296, discussed in the House of Commons UK at 11:30am on 28/02/2013.
  15. Veerji i've just sent you an email requesting your email address to which I can forward a document you should print and take with you on your visit just to be safe I will try posting the document here as well for all other brothers and sisters in UK
  16. Veerji I'm asking a friend for written confirmation. Not sure how long she will take to respond, i hope its before your visit. Are your from the UK? Regarding UK law- Under the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (section 139) and Criminal Justice 1996 (section 3 and 4) allows anyone to carry a blade exceeding the length of 3 inches for religious, cultural or work related reasons. The Criminal Justice Act and the 2003 Religious Discrimination Act safeguards the Sikhs to carry the Kirpan.
  17. Veerji, Colors TV is operated by Viacom18, a joint venture in india between Viacom and Network 18. Now a complaint to network18 will probably fall on deff indian ears. A complaint to Viacom (USA) may bare more fruit?... I have emailed Viacom asking them to outline the process of complaint as theres nothing on their website. Will post the response here...
  18. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh ji Colors Tv, (known as 'Aapka Colors' in USA and Canada) is launching a fictional drama based on a jilted punjabi bride, called Gurbani. This channel airs on sky... Just seen an advert on it...coming soon. Surely they shouldn't use the word Gurbani for a hindu drama which will have nothing to do with sikhi... Not sure what can be done about this....
  19. Yes veerji you can keep your srisahib on at all times during your visit. You must inform security that you have a sri sahib on you. Have fun
  20. Yogi Bhajan brought Sikh to these guys, ovz they're going to have a very high level of respect for him...they see him as a high spiritual Sant person (however you want to put it) and why wouldn't they!? They received the gift of Sikhi through Yogi Bhajan. Of course its all Maharaajs Hukum and nothing was in his hands but he became the means right? When someone gives you a gift, you show appreciation... Im not justifying their acts and stuff but its clear why they all think so highly of him...
  21. The red lehnga- red is considered an auspicious colour in hinduism. The chura is another hingu ritual...the bride wears it for 40days and only then can she remove it... Its just pointless shingaar like the necklace and makeup.
  22. Many people do many things, you cant bunch them all together and paint them with the same brush. We are individuals. We all make mistakes. Not a clone of a perfect Amritdhari.
