  1. An Excellent lesson When somebody told me that he has failed in his exams, my question is, *"Is it a law that you will pass every time?"* When someone told me that my boyfriend broke up with me, my question is, *"Is it a rule that you will have successful relationships everywhere?"* When somebody asked me why am I in depression, my question is, *"Is it compulsory to have confidence all the time?"* When someone cried to me about his huge business loss due to his wrong decision, my question is, *"Is it possible that you take all right decisions?"* The fact is our expectation that life has to be perfect/permanent is the biggest reason of our unhappiness. One has to understand the law of impermanence of nature. After each sunny day, there has to be a dark night, after each birth there have to be certain deaths, for the full moon to come again it has to pass through no moon. In this imperfection of nature, there is perfection. So *stop taking your failures and bad part of your life soooo personally or intensely,* even God does not like to give you pain but its the cycle through which you have to pass. Prepare yourself for one more fight after each fall because even failures cannot be permanent...! Enjoy life.... *Your breath comes to go.* *Your thoughts come to go.* *Your words come to go.* *Your actions come to go.* *Your feelings come to go.* *Your illnesses come to go.* *Your phases come to go.* *Your seasons come to go.* *You have come to go.* Then why do you hold on to your guilt, anger, unforgiveness, hatred so so so tightly, when it too has come to go... Let it go .. Sat Sree Akal.
  2. The Law of Receiving & Giving. Here is an interesting story on two seas with some interesting lessons. As you probably recall, the Dead Sea is really a Lake, not a sea. It’s so high in salt content that the human body can float easily. You can almost lie down and read a book! The salt in the Dead Sea is as high as 35% - almost 10 times the normal ocean water. And all that saltiness has meant that there is no life at all in the Dead Sea. No fish. No vegetation. No sea animals. Nothing lives in the Dead Sea. And hence the name: Dead Sea. While the Dead Sea has remained etched in my memory, I don't seem to recall learning about the Sea of Galilee in my school Geography lesson. So when I heard about the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea and the tale of the two seas - I was intrigued. Turns out that the Sea of Galilee is just north of the Dead Sea. Both the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea receive their water from river Jordan. And yet, they are very, very different. Unlike the Dead Sea, the Sea of Galilee is pretty, resplendent with rich, colorful marine life. There are lots of plants. And lots of fish too. In fact, the Sea of Galilee is home to over twenty different types of fishes. Same region, same source of water, and yet while one sea is full of life, the other is dead. How come? Here’s apparently why. The River Jordan flows into the Sea of Galilee and then flows out. The water simply passes through the Sea of Galilee in and then Out - and that keeps the sea healthy and vibrant, teeming with marine life. But the Dead Sea is so far below the mean sea level, that it has NO outlet. The water flows in from the river Jordan, but does NOT flow Out. There are no outlet streams. It is estimated that over 7 million tons of water evaporate from the Dead Sea every day. Leaving it salty. Too full of minerals. And unfit for any marine life. The Dead Sea takes water from the River Jordan, and HOLDS it. It does NOT GIVE. Result? No LIFE at all. Think about it. Life is not just about Getting. Its about Giving. We all need to be a bit like the Sea of Galilee. We are fortunate to get wealth, knowledge, love and respect. But if we don't learn to give, we could all end up like the Dead Sea. The love and the respect, the wealth and the knowledge could all evaporate. Like the water in the Dead Sea. If we get the Dead Sea mentality of merely taking in more water, more money, more everything the results can be disastrous. Do make sure that in the sea of your LIFE, you have outlets. Many outlets. For love and wealth - and everything else that you get in your life. Make sure you don't just get, you give too. Open the taps. And you'll open the floodgates to happiness. Make that a habit. To share. To give. And Experience the magic of Giving. Always remember as in Nature.. Givers get

    Death

Death is a blessing by Wahiguru on the jeevas. It is by the cycle of births and deaths, that we can make evolution as purer souls and thus one day merge in Wahiguru. Death is of the body, not of the soul. Death means libertaion of the soul encaged in a particular body, and as we all know, the soul has not only the gross or physical covering on it, but also the astral one, the causal one, and the mental one. Kal Purukh in his mayavee creation, has set all sort of traps, to keep the souls encaged with different bodies; and from this web, not even the devis, devtas, gods, godesses, of the status of the trinity can get released, so what to say of those who worship them. But as long as Wahiguru keeps showering His Daya Meher on the jeevas, the souls will be getting freed from this huge play of Maya and Kal, with the aid of Naam or Shabad alone, as it is the only power superior to Kal Purukh. One is Kal Purukh, and the other one Supreme, is Akal Purukh, means beyond the reach of Kal. Even then, Kal does nothing out of his own, he is a caretaker, a faithful sewak of Wahiguru Akal Purukh. Why has Wahiguru created all this, even if expalined, we would never understand, as we are spiritually inmature. But, one thing is sure, we are away /separate from Wahiguru, and our sole objective is to attract His Grace upon us, so we can sail this Mahabhavsagar, and safely reach our Nijh Ghar, Sach Khand, in the lap of our True Father, Satnam, Wahiguru Akal Purukh. Nanak, Naam jahaaz, jin chareeya se utareeya paar. Sat Sree Akal.
  4. HAVE A GLASS OF WATER BEFORE YOUR TEA OR COFFEE, YOUR STOMACH WILL THANK YOU Ph value of tea is 6, and for coffee is 5. These PH values, indicate how acidity is increased in our bodies with the intake of these two. Acidity causes major problems as cancers, ulcers, etc. Drinking a glass of water before tea or coffeee, will minimize the damage.
  5. Katha on the Sukhmani Sahib, a treasure beyond measure. *A must to see and understand the teachings of our Guru Sahibans, to become a better Gursikh Sat Sree Akal.
  6. Gurbani Katha: How to control the mind Sat Sree Akal.
  7. Married life is not only about sex. it is about feelings, of love, of communication, of understanding one an other, of adjusting oneself to adapt to the other partner or spouse, in having children, an invaluable gift from God, and mostly it is in growing as human beings. Men and women are very different in nature, in thoughts. It is quite a big an admirable thing in marrying and staying together. But is also a vow of respecting each other, and being truthful throughout life, no matter if is sunshine or storms. Sex is desire created in the mind, of craving for pleasure, which is normal to an extent, as men and women, But excess in this matter, is sickness. You see, the whole world is getting carried away by kaam, even the devtas are not devoid of kaam. such is this powerful weapon, which Kal uses mercilessly to keep his mayavee creation in motion without stop People change partners as we change clothes everyday. Why? Because of kaam. Such a shame. The whole world is burning in the subtle fire of kaam. It is only through Gurmat, we come to be aware of this subtle malady of kaam, to which the whole world looks as a valid, desirable and a acceptable way to enjoy life. Bhakti as per Gurmat is a fence around us, which protects us from the heat of kaam by literally throwing out from us, this dusht called "kaam". No matter how much we may sing the inmense glory of Sikhee and its benefits, but we shall always remain short to its real height and value. The only valid antidote to kaam, and as well as other vikars, is only Nam Bhakti of Akal Purukh. Sat Sree Akal.
  8. Low Jee, maybe worshipping other divinities(devis, devtas), gods, godesses,by chanting their mantras, one may get boons from them, then also, to enjoy them for a limited time being. But then, what does one benefit from it, on a long run? The thing is, one is still chained in the mayavee creation. In Gurmat, we do not do His bhakti, to change our destinies, rather we do His bhakti, to stay in tune within His Hukum or Mauj at all times. You see, all desires, trishnas and expectations are born in the mind, just as sand arises from the ground during a strong wind blowing...but that is all dust. Why do we call, all these desires and other waves arisen in the mind as good as dirt? Because thay are a manifestation of maya, which only bind us strongly in the creation, and these bonds mean pain, mean sorrow, mean confusion.... The thing is, only when we do His bhakti, all dust, all dirt, created and formed in the mind is sweeped away. That is why the Bani says: Prabh ka simran, man kee mael jaae. In a way, doing His bhakti alone, changes the course of our destinies; in the sense, that we are all condemed here already, do we may, whatever we may, then too we are very much in the cycle of births and deaths. This is the reality. So then how to change this our destiny of being enchained here in the mayavee creation up to Trikuti or Causal plane? Well again, the Bani can not be more clear. It says: Prabh ka Simran, garb na baseh. Only by His Simran, one shall not come into a mother´s womb again. So you see, it by His Grace, that we shall be able to change the course of our destiny here, which then comes to an end, not otherwise. People under misconception and weakness, try to find similarities of Sikhee with other dharmas or religions. But the fact is, Gurmat is unique, and the only purpose of our Guru Sahibans, Bhagat Jan in the Bani, was to make us consciouss of our true spiritual nature, and our reunification with Wahiguru Akal Purukh. Nothing more, nothing less. If we see or expect anything else apart from this, it is manmat added by the blind moorakhs. Gurmat is a simple and direct path to Wahiguru. Sat Sree Akal.
  9. Do not fear man, just tell the ghosts (if they exist), how powerful is our beloved Wahiguru, at whose Charan Kamal we have placed ourselves, and they shall flee away. Sat Sree Akal
  10. DUTY/ FARZ / KARNEE NOTHING DEPENDS ON LUCK EVERYTHING DEPENDS ON WORK BECAUSE EVEN LUCK HAS TO BE WORKED OUT. *NOTE: ONLY WAHIGURU IS ABOVE THIS RULE, HIS APAAR DAYA MEHER CAN BE SHOWERED ON ANYONE, AND NOBODY CAN QUESTION HIM. AND ACCORDING TO MAHAPURUKHS, THE MORE BHAKTI WE DO OF WAHIGURU, THE MORE WE ATTRACT HIS DAYA MEHER
  11. Confused jee, we have to be humble in the sense, that with fat ego in our minds we can never ever enter His darbar. We should never ever feel we are higher or superior to anybody. Because the moment ego, haume, ahankar, firmly places itself in us, we are prone to the adverse effects of all the vikars. Then too, if we are not humble, we can never ever do His bhakti. For, the purpose of doing His Bhakti, and the aim of our lives, is to dissolve our haume, become mindless, and then only, become one with Him. But being humble, does not mean to be dumb. If we see unjustice, we have to fight it in which ever way we think it fit, with a sound mind. For example, the hindu avtars, all came to settle dharam on earth, and wipe away the evil ones, like Ravan, Kansa, Harnakash ...etc. So you see, we are not Gandhis´, who if slapped put his other cheek. If anybody slaps us, in return we should slap him as many times as needed, to make that person understand, that one can not go in the world just like that, abusing all left and right .... I am not promoting violence, but, self defense can not be ignored in any cases. This is comon sense, and it has nothing against being humble We have to live with dignity, and be able to look into our own eyes face to face, with a feeling of satisfaction and serenity .... Sat Sree akal.
  12. The answer to the question of this thread in simple words could well be : The word Kalyug, is composed of 2 syllables, which are Kal and Yuga Yug or Yuga means era, a phase of creation These yugas are repeated in cycles, thus have a begining and an end, Kal, means yesterday or tomorrow, this implies time. Kal also means, the negative power or universal mind. In summary, we can say, it is a phase of the existence of the creation, where, the negativity, the maya, are most active, almost predominant. Evilness, falsehood, envy, lust, anger, ego, avarice, are the main actors in this play of Kalyug. Life is shorter in comparison to the other 3 yugas. But, the positive point is, Wahiguru´s grace on the beings here is more abundant as compensation. This means, we do not have to do many hardships, in longer lived lives, to pay or settle our karmas, and also, if we engage in Wahigurús bhakti, as per Gurmat... once again with His apaar Grace, we can find him, meet Him, and merge in Him, much much sooner than in any other Yuga, or in any other plane of higher consciousness. Sat Sree Akal.
  13. Brother, to fight lust, you may do pranayam yoga, as this balances the energies within us and increases the positive one. Then keep in mind, that to fight lust, to do any jugtee, is like keeping a snake in a basket. The moment, it gets the slightest opportunity, it will surely bite you. But then, Wahiguru has provided us with a weapon, which if used properly, it will surely kill that demon, as well as any other ones.... So, what is that weapon? It is His simran. The Bani says: Prabh Ka Simran, man kee mael jaae. (There is no other way). His Simran only, wipes away any filth on the mind, and for sure, lust or kaam, is filth as well also. You see, almost nobody pays attention to what the Bani tells us to do clearly at all times, which is Sat Bachan, and which releases us from all maladies; but rather everyone is trying to fullfill the outer/gross aspects. The thing is we are dumb, thus we cling and hold on to what we see and is perishable; but that which is eternal and subtle, we do not even look at, just because we are limited. This also shows, how far we are from Gurmat, as per what our Guru Sahibans expected from us, as souls. Because Gurmat, is first for the freedom of the soul, and secondly to unite it with its origin, Wahiguru only. Apart from this, Satnam; all else is maya, is koor. So brother, hold strongly on the pallav of Naam, through Simran; then no kaam, no vikaar will ever bother you; because then, you and He, shall become Him alone through His Grace. Sat Sree Akal.
  14. Progress Progress has little to do with speed. But much to do with direction. So it is better to concentrate on direction than on speed. *In our case, while chanting His Name, let it be done lovingly and slowly, rather than make it a ritual and speed it to finish it sooner. Sat Sre Akal.
  15. Apple wise Apple..... a very good fruit. But I do not like apple. Toh kya, apple bura ho gaya? No, apple is a very good fruit, it is I just do not like it. In a same way, if someone does not like you, it does not mean you are bad. No, you are a very beautiful soul, it is just everyone has a different choice. Be, who you are, and keep updating yourself Keep upgrading yourself Respect yourself.
  16. When you come to a point, where you have no need to impress anybody .... Your freedom will begin.
Remembering Him in meditation, salvation is attained; vibrate and meditate on Him, O my friend. Dhan Dhan Sree Guru Teg Bhadaur Sahib.
  18. 1)Yes, Wahiguru Akal Purukh is ever loving and compassionate, and you are dear to Him, as each one of us. have no doubt about it. 2) You may not be necessarily wrong now, as the pains and sorrows are our own planted seeds in our countless lives here, the thing is we do not remember. But so we are, who do not even remember what we did ...let us say 3 months ago for example, then, what to say about our past lives. The Bani is very clear in this: Aapay beejeh, aapay khaae. Just look at the apaar kirpa and love of Wahiguru upon you, He has blessed you with a human life, for which even devtas and devis long for... so that in spite of your karmas, sanskaras ...you may do enough Bhakti as per Gurmat, and merge in Him. What else proof of His love, do you need. 3)You do his bhakti without fail, then, He will take care of your swarthee affairs also. So Guest jee, just rejoice and do His barambaar shukur, for His priceless gifts upon you. I agree, it may seem easy to tell others do this or that, but believe it, it by His Grace also, that He gives His shelter in these hardships, tough times, through His Gursikhs, His Bhagat Janas, and Guru de pyareo well wishers, for mankind and all creatures. God bless you, guest jee. Sat Sree Akal.
  19. If man was an animal, why does not he live in the jungle and see how animals behave and feels in his own self the consequences of being animal? Why shoud we forget religion(bhakti as per our Guru Sahibans, and any true saints)? When it is religion, the only available source which unites us back with our source. Animals survive on their instincts. Man survives and lives due to chetanta/consciousness present in him. it is this akash element present is the human form which distinguishes him from the rest of the creation, and our consciousness level is a consequence of this element present in us. Now, as per universal laws, as you indulge in, so you become. You behave as an animal, you will surely be dragged to its level. You behave as a human being, one matures and merges in divinity. There is absolutely no force on nobody, it is one´s choice, what one wants to do with onés life/existence/presence. Like for example, one may want to go to school and learn in life...or wander around uselessly and become a goon. It is totally in one´s hands, what to do with one´s life. We all know mostly, what is good or bad basically, and this undeniable...Other thing is, we may not want morality intentionaly... Sat sree Akal.
  20. The only real devil is the mind, whether individual or universal mind, namely Kaal. And the consequences are that we are balckfaced spiritually, and carry heavy sins on our heads, for which we shall have to pay in the lower joonees and wander again the wheel of 84, and this means we have not made use of Wahiguru´s blessings on us as humans to redeem ourselves with His bhakti, thus wasted His precious gift for us, as human beings. Sat Sree Akal.
  21. Hello Simran Pen Jee and all my good friends, sorry for not coming before, but the thing is I had decided to stay out from here. My purpose for being here has been to have a good time with the sangat here and share the wealth of Sikhee. And my reason for getting away, is that I can not tolerate seeing how most are trying cutting the throats of others at some point or other, I see a lot of aggressive attitude. Why not be humble? Why not use a bit of daya from our lot, for those who are less aware of spirituality? What does it cost to speak with softness and sweetness? Why to provoke or push someone with hatred, and thus not being tolerant .... Nobody is perfect here, then what for, these egoistic attitudes ... If somebody does not agree with us, we can not force our opinions on anybody ... There is ample space for everybody here. If we think we are right, and give our sincere opinion, and if somebody accepts or not, what is our problem? That person is solely responsible for his/her acts/destiny...so what is our business there? We can not beat or kill someone for not agreeing with us. Other thing is, if that person has malice towards us. then there are 2 options, either to tell that person to leave aside those vikaars, or either one move´s away ... Life is too short, for getting in controversies, fights, disputes, hatred.... I am bold enough by His grace to endure all nonsense, I just do not care, as nobody can do me anything, unless I allow so, but frankly speaking, there is no need for all this hostility. Better I dedicate more time to Wahiguru, who ultimately is the source of all peace, love and kindness. For the moment I wish you all best of luck, and may Wahiguru keep showering His blessings on all, to at least become first good human beings, because without being so, no spiritual achievements are possible. No matter how hard we may try, because only by first being good, we become receptive to His apaar Kirpa. Sat Sree Akal. P.S: If ever i have hurt anyone, take me as a brother and please forgive me.
  22. Guru Jee is not limted within the parameters of time and space as we the rest of the beings. Just as the sun arises in the sky and gives it sunshine to all of the creation, irrespective of caste, color, creed and gender. So is Guru Jee, full of Akhand Jot. Who spreads His Daya Meher on all, whether gursikhs, hindus, muslims, christians, to the extent , even on devis, devtas, gods, godesses.... All, absolutely all are worthy of His kirpa. It is we, who take Guru Jee as limited due to our limitations. But the fact is, Guru Jee is limitless as Wahiguru Himself. Sat Sree Akal.
