  1. Guest sengh Jee, just tell me one thing, if Wahiguru has given you this human birth to become a Gurmukh, and this birth according to you, you have misused thus feel being far away from Him, then what guarantee is there, that again you will get a human birth, and do not repeat the same mistakes? Now is your time, now is your opportunity, make the most of it, and make Him see that you are being truthful and honest, for Him believeing in you, that you could do it in this very life, His bakshish. He is not far at all, He is nearer than the breath you inhale, He is right within us. It is our braham, our agyanta, which makes us believe the contrary, that He is far away. You see, even if one does His jaap, is a sign of His kirpa, because without it, nobody can even ever think of Him. Grace, bakshish, everything has been bestowed on us, it is only that we have to use it. Let us stop complaining, for if He has put the food before us, we just have to take it from the plate and eat it. But our complaints are, that, I have put the morsels in my mouth, now Sachay Patshah, come and move my jaws, so I may chew it. Funny no? This is our case, He has given us all facilities, yet we complain that still I need this from you, and so on.... The first sign of His grace, that He has chosen us to go back, is that we are born as human beings, you see, not even the triloki gods, godesses, devis, devtays can go to Him, without being born as human beings first. Just count the blessings He has showered us, and you will be amazed. He knows we are imperfect, we are unable to do the jaap of His pure Naam, but He says, just start with it, have the right attitude, and keep this going on, and just give Me the excuse to shower more and more Daya Meher on you, so that you can become one with me. So ultimately, it is all His Daya Meher. You see, we are used to ask Him things, with big words, but is not our words which He wants, it is our karnee, our bhajan bandagee, what He likes, and which, attracts His Daya Meher on us. People say, if we do not ask Him, whom shall we ask? But the fact is, if we believe He is all powerful and can give us what we want, then, has He not got the power to know what we want without even asking? Otherwise, what god is he, who asks us what we want, and gives us that what we want. The difference between other gods and Wahiguru is that, while we do the bhakti of any of them, our desires are not extinguished, and we keep on wanting, but, when we do His Bhakti, all our desires are burnt, we become pure and have none, except the only one of having His Darshan more and more, such is His beant wadeeayee. Moreover, we become peaceful and learn to stay in His bhaana at all times. So Guest sengh jee, do not waste even one second, and start doing His bhajan bandagee, because, even to become humble, or, get rid of all the filth of the vikaars on our minds, the Bani says: Prabh ka simran, man kee mael(kaam, krodh, lobh, moh, ahankaar, haume, hasad/jalan, etc) jaae. We do not get puruty, humility... just by desiring it, nor even thinking rationally, rather, we have to work for it, and that work is His Naam Simran, from where all goodness, all blessings sprout and fall upon us, like heavy monsoon rains from the clouds, but unlike those heavy rains, which can cause disasters, floods, we only get benefits of becoming purer and purer .... Sat Sree Akal.
  2. Fasting at best, can only make one loose weight. Gyan, sharda, pyar, pargaas, is only got by devoting ourselves to Owner of akhoot bhandaar of all virtues, who is none other than Wahiguru Akal Purukh, as per Gurmat, through His chintan alone, not by any type or amount of rituals. Sat Sree Akal.
  3. This maybe has happened, because we do not follow Sikhee in the true essence. We are more occupied of the outer aspects, rather than, the eternal and permanent truth of Naam, which is within us, and of which Guru Sahiban, in each Tuk, in each Ang, sing His Glory. It is like having jewels in the jewel box, but we are more worried of the box container, then the valuable priceless jewels contents: Amrit Bani. So naturally, maya, kalyug, are powerful enough to lead the majority of us astray. Sat Sree Akal.
  4. One does not become a gurmukh just like that without doing anything. It is like saying, I am turning my back to the sun and going forward, yet believeing to be in sunshine going farther and farther away. This is know as braham, agyanta, which will surely lead you to utter darkness in the wheel of 84. If you want to be a gurmukh, start walking towards the Sun in this very life, then, even if one passes away, by His grace, our face will be towards Him, and you shall continue going towards Him in your future. The thing is, to have our faces towards Him, and this is possible only by doing His Bhakti as per Gurmat, in this very life, that also as soon as possible, as life is uncertain. Sat Sree Akal.
  5. Guest Singh Jee, your devotion and love for Wahiguru are clear, as per your sentiments expressed above in your post. I would just ask you, or rather tell you that, the bliss, the anand, the peace, love and faith, we look for doing His bhakti, is not got by repeating any number of times any paath, be it may, Sukhmani Sahib. You see, by doing so, we are no better than the hindus who perform such practices. What benefit is got by repeating 40 or any X number of times any Bani? Have we ever asked ourselves, why do we do so? Do you think, that by repeating it once and understanding it throughly is not enough? You see, doing any Bhakti of Him, is not like homework given to us by teachers, that we have to repeat it X number of times, in order to get the purpsose of studying it. Even in academic studies, we do not write X amount of times the lessons we learn, to pass those exams. The thing is to understand, and to apply it acordingly, that is the purpose. What use is doing X number of times the paath of any Bani, if we do not do, on what is being told us to do. What use is for example in repeating a particular recipe, if we do not follow it and cook it. The hunger is not satisfied by reading and repeating the recipe, but in doing as we are told in preparing that delicious dish. In doing so, we shall definetely taste how delicious it is, and at the same time satisfy our hunger. In the same way, nowhere Guru Jee tells us to repeat X number of times, in order to taste Amrit Bani within us. So do not think that by doing any number of times paath, your sewa of devotion is somehow finished. You may go through Sukhmani or any Bani, as many times as you may want, as long as feel you have not understood it properly, or just to feel the bliss by doing it, and feel the infinite inmensity of Akal Purukh, and thus keep the flame of desire in having His darshan, by His apaar kirpa, that´s it. You see, Bani is not difficult, rather is very very straight forward. Many a times we can see complete gyan in just one verse from the "pooran Bani". Such wonderful is the Bani of Guru Jee. In the case of Sukhmani Sahib, for example we see, Prabh ka Simran, garbh na baseh. So the key is Prabh Ka Simran. Our purpose in human form is to get united and becoming one with Wahiguru, isn´t it so? And for that purpose, see how Panchvee Patshahee, in just one verse, summarizes the true gyan of Parmarath, that also in simple words, which even the lowest of lowest jeev can understand without any doubt. Just see the great greatness of Panchvee Patshahee, how gracefully He blesses us, with the eternal Truth of His Naam. The benefit of the Gurbani, is not in repeating it X number of times, but in understanding and applying it practically in our own lives, that also, as soon as possible, before yam doots come and take away our pranas. "Saas saas simroh Gobind" : This is the true paath of His Naam, we have to do with love and devotion. That also, not any X number of times, but, with each inhalation and exhalation, as long as we are alive. Dhan Dhan Satguru Amar Das Maharaj, also tells us something similar in Raag Vadhans: ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਅਬਿਗਤੁ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ Har Nam Hamara Prabh Abigath Agochar Abinasee Purakh Bidhhatha हरि नामु हमारा प्रभु अबिगतु अगोचरु अबिनासी पुरखु बिधाता The Lord's Name is my immortal, unfathomable, imperishable Creator Lord, the Architect of Destiny. I serve the Lord's Name, I worship the Lord's Name, and my soul is imbued with the Lord's Name. I know of no other as great as the Lord's Name; the Lord's Name shall deliver me in the end. Guest Singh Jee, God bless you. Sat Sree Akal.
  6. Some more blissful keeratn of His beant wadeeayee
  7. Thanks Simran Pen Jee for adding his this Shabad. For me he is a great keertanee, his voice is powerful, whenever I listen him doing keertan, I just feel exuberated with the power of Bani, there are quite a few Raagis graced in getting the listeners to that high state, and he is one of them... Though all keertanee ragis, have my deep respect, for singing His wadeeayee, and making us thus aware of His infinite inmensity. Sat Sree Akal.
  8. Sorry, the videos above were not meant to be posted on this thread, but on the Bhakti one.
Shiva and the gods lament and moan, But they do not understand even a tiny bit of the unseen and unknown Lord From the above couplet of Dhan Dhan Satguru Dev Maharaj, it is quite clear, that no gods, nor even of the trinity, though Shiva may be.....but absolutely none of them do know anything of Alakh (unseen), Agam (unaccesible), Abhaev (unknown), Supreme Lord Wahiguru Akal Purukh. Sat Sree Akal.
  10. In addition to what Simran Pen Jee advises you, I would suggest you to do Bhajan Bandagee at a regular basis, as only our associstion with the Supreme Truth can give us the correct understanding, as our chit gets purified through this devotion. Sat Sree Akal.
  11. Nothing has happened to One God. It is only that ,we do not follow Gurmat implicitly, thus we are full with mind/ manmukhta, and the consequences due to this negative impact. When He is out of sight, darkness of haume surround us fully. And as we all know, in darkness the outcome is " chaos" at all levels. Though I do understand your point of view, I can only suggest you to undrestand the Bani as it is,( not how we are told it to be)and apply it in your daily life. Only then shall have His Jyot surrounding and guiding us towards His Darbar. There where He is, nothing else more exist, only He. Sat Sree Akal.
  12. Guest Jee, you seem to be sadly confused. It is your "man", who is troubling you. And it it is job to keep the jeev atma in state of confusion, so it may desviate its thoughts from Wahiguru, Guru Jee. No doubt, mind/man is faithfully doing its job, assigned by Kal Purukh. Keeping this in mind, we also have to be faithful to Guru Jee, as only by following a far superior power than the mind, can it be defeated, not otherwise. The Bani says, we have an antidote to encounter the mind and defeat it for once and ever, so it is our choice to use it and vanquish the mind, or allow it to continue using us as puppets. So, what is that antidote? It is His Simran. The Bani says: Prabh ka Simran, man kee mael jaae. His Simran has countless benefits/blessings, just read Sukhmani Sahib. Once the mind is purified through His simran, we then become wholly pure, and thus we can fulfil the purpose of our lives as human beings, for then, as the Bani says: Prabh ka Simran, garb na baseh. What else do we want, Guest Jee? Guru Jee has showered so many blessings on us, by giving us the right weapon of Bani and Naam, to overcome all our so called difficulties, and we are still shamelessly complaining? We must sure be dumb. So you see, please do not ever say, it is not in your destiny for this life.... In fact, it is the only thing(His chintan) we have in life for sure, cause all else is due to our own karmas, but not his Simran. All good karmas are taxable to Kal Purukh, as for our bad karmas, they already have a negative impact on us. But, His Simran, is above the spheres or domains of Kal. So brother, it is the only thing sure we can depend on, and collect that Dhan, as much as possible, for that, there are no limits, no power can ever stop us in doing so. Just look at yourself, inspite of your karmas/destiny, He, has blessed you with a human life, so that you may devote yourself to Him, and freee yourself for once and ever from the endless cycle of eighty four. Guest Jee, cheer up, see the bright side of your life, as He is lovingly waiting for you, with His arms wide open. Hold on His finger(His Simran), and get up, to never ever fall down. God bless you. Sat Sree Akal.
  13. Sunil jee, keep in mind that one's life, be it dukh sukh, health, wealth...etc, are all designed as one's past karmas in previous countless lives of which we are not aware. As the Bani says : apay beejeh apay khae. Here Wahiguru God has no partialties with anyone. If you think you prayed in the past and still you had to face difficulties, then, sorry to tell you, you have not understood the law of karam, of which even gods, devis, devtays can not escape. So please let us not blame Wahiguru Jee for our shortcomings. Wahiguru is " sarab sukhaa ka Daata", but for that we have to arise above all rituals and outer misconceptions and merge in Him, the infinite fountain of Amrit. And to merge im Him, there is no other way, but, that of the jugtee of His simran. Then, not that our present karam will change their effects on us, as designed by destiny, but the fact is, in doing that jugtee we shall be able to take our minds per will at His Lotus Feet, there where the mind tastes the Amrit of His Naam, and is thus nullified. Once the mind is nullified, then who or what is left to feel the sukh dukh of karam for that time being? Let us never ever blame Wahiguru for our own agyanta/shortcomings...not even by mistake Cause if we do so, we are getting away fom Him. He is always there, it is we, who have to take our chits at His Lotus Feet. And for that we need not any set of prayers or rituals, we need to take hold of the pallav of His Naam. That's it. I will not comment on other religions, as I have no right, neither enough knowledge. Sikhee is more than enough for me. May god bless you. Sat Sree Akal
  14. Dhan Dhan Satguru Arjun Dev Maharaj tells us the about SupremeTruth in Raag Bhairao, and something upon the title of this thread: In simple and clear words He says: ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ Sathigur Maeraa Purakh Bidhhaathaa सतिगुरु मेरा पुरखु बिधाता My True Guru is the Primal Creator Lord, the Architect of Destiny There is no deity equal to the Guru First of all He says: the Primal Creator, the Lord Himself, is my True Guru(the dispenser of darkness, with His Light of Naam / Shabad), and then, absolutely nobody, nor any devi, devtay, gods, trinity, is equal or similar even slightestly, to Him. Gur jaisa nahee ko dev. He Wahiguru Akal Purukh, Himself only, is oooch, apaar, Beant Soami,. Sat Sree Akal.
  15. LOVE, HOPE, AND PERSEVERANCE Love for Wahiguru, gives birth to hope in us, to meet Him and embrace Him... Hope then fuels perseverance in us, for doing His bhajan bandagee, in order to become one with Him. Sat Sree Akal.
  16. Masterpiece on Economics : One day a tourist comes to the only hotel in a debt ridden town in Kenya. He lays a 100 dollar note on the table & goes to inspect the rooms. Hotel owner takes the note & rushes to pay his debt to the butcher. Butcher runs to pay the pig farmer. Pig farmer runs to pay the feed supplier. Supplier runs to pay the maid, who in these hard times gave her services on credit. Maid then runs to pay off her debt to the hotel owner whom she borrowed from in these hard times. Hotel owner then lays the 100 dollar note back on the counter. The tourist comes down, takes his money & leaves as he did not like the rooms. No one earned anything, no value created, wealth redistribution was on paper, yet that entire group of people is now out of debt & looks to the future with a lot of optimism. That is how the world is doing business today!
  17. Raag Raamkali Dhan Dhan Satguru Arjan Dev Maharaj. By chanting and meditating on the Name, worshipping God's feet. God, the embodiment of bliss, becomes manifest everywhere. Sat Sree Akal.
  18. Beautiful kathas, full of Gurmat gyan. Sat Sree Akal.
  19. Guest prabhjodh Jee, your so called problem is not only yours, but of the vast majority of us. You having deisre intense one day, and then losing hunger ... is nothing but the tunes to which the mind make us dance as puppets. Nevertheless, just make yourself understand that you have to fight the mind with Guru Jee´s hukum. It is not by our efforts that we shall control the mind and defeat it, but by His Hukum. And His Hukum shall work as an antidote to defeat the mind, not otherwise. You see, since aeons we have been wandering in the cycle of 84, we have done nothing fruitful, we have been slaves to the mind, so we can not expect results in a few days , months or years .... And the doses of the medicine of His bhakti/Bhajan Bandagee, has to be given everyday to the mind regularly /daily, only then, the mind shall be sudued. Our duty is to follow His Hukum, whether the mind enjoys it or not. Insist insist and insist, one day will come, you shall enjoy the bliss of Naam Amrit, this is guaranteed by Guru Jee. For as the Bani beautifully says: Prabh ka simran, man kee mael jaae. You may visit mahapurukhs if you want, but keep in mind, that the eternal Truth, namely Wahiguru Akal Purukh is within you, and the way to realize Him, is by His apaar kirpa, when you do His bhajan bandagee regularly without fail, on a daily basis. No mahapurukh has any magic stick, which by waving we shall get His reaization. If you find and meet any true mahapurukh, he will also tell you the same, that what Guru Jee tells us, He is within you, do His bhakti as much as you can regularly without expectations or speculations, for one has to give all these calculations which are within the spheres of the mind. Giving oneself to Him, means, giving oneself unconditionally to him, which means giving up haume. Once you succeed in this abhyas, then only He exists. God bless you. Sat Sree Akal.
  20. First of all this is not a manmat post. It is your wicked comments and your lies as cult personified, which should not be approved, neither here nor anywhere else. Please do not come and vomit your moorakhta within this thread, if at all you still want to vomit, start a new thread by yourself, where you take out your poison, and give it the title: agyanta and manmat of a perfect cult akalifauj Yes, this thread is on bhakti, that is why I ask you to leave and stop polluting here the sangat with your antigurmat interpretations. Gurus´ instructions are indeed perfect and matchless, but it is your ahankaar and malice, which does let even a drop of them get into you What a proffessional liar and cult you are. What or how ambiguous meaning am I giving? And you accuse me of selfish beliefs? You must surely be out of your senses. My only belief is, Wahiguru and Akal Purukh and Guru Jee, apart from that I recognize none, and my posts are proof of what I am saying. But of course you being a manmukh cult, how can you ever perceive it, when all others have no object, you come with your polluted nonsense. This by itself is a proof of you being a retarded cult, making a fool of yourself. And as such a cult, you like to control the freedom of expression and manipulate people with your agyanta, ahankaar, jealousy, lies... And when you do not suceed in it, you start looking for quarrels and disharmony among the sangat, shame on you! You have no right to pressure on pepole upon what they write, or why they like this or that ... After all, who are you to do so? With what right you do so? This is a clear sign, of you being a cult, and a huge amount of garbage accumulated in your mind. What others may do, that is not your problem, if they do any nonsense as you, they will be informed in not doing so, plus the Admin has full authority in sacking them away. You just worry for yourself, in becoming truthful to sikhee, after throwing away your cult beliefs and ahankaar, by which you are fully possesed Nobody is ignoring sikhee, neither underestemating Sikhi. The real wisdom in Sikhee giving by the Gurus, is only obtained by practicing or putting into action Sikhee, not parroting as you do. Do you even have an idea what is bhakti, apart from your missionary and cultist beliefs? My writings are not shortcomings, rather your polluted and corruped mind are your own visible shortcomings Again you are lying. Nowhere I have ever claimed me knowing Sikhee more or less. In fact a sikh means a learner, a student, so am I, though an imperfect sikh of Guru Jee. What you call as disgusting insults, are nothing else, but just a reflection of what you project first. You want me to praise you or like your posts? Surely I will do so, only if you first become a truthful and a respectful person. But then why only me? Everyone will shower you with likes. The choice is yours. Definetely your mind seems to be agitated, so you have no clarity neither in your thoughts, nor in your expressions. Do you even know what is prayer? Prayer is a communication between the soul and the divine. And souls are not limited to Sikhee alone. all the living beings have jeev atma. other dharams may adore other entities, but still they know what is prayer, and so they do. For example in hindusim, an elephant in times of distress prayed Vishnu for help, when his life was in danger, and the legend says, Vishnu came and rescued the elephant from the clutches of death at the hands of a crocodile. And there are different instances where it is known, people praying got help from the divine. So if you put your manmat forward and limit the freedom of others, it is absolutely clear, you are a cult personified. One more thing, do not judge any mahapurkhs of other dharams, such as Swami Vivekananda, you have no right. A small lamp can not be compared to a sun, but nevethless it gives light according to its limitations at the best. In a similar way, mahapurukhs of other dharmas can not be ever compared to our Guru Sahiban, but even then, their limited small light is better than the darkness you promote. Sat Sree Akal.
