  1. Pakistani punjabis see you as a kaffir dont get excited over so called punjabi brother hood it dont exist.
  2. A good chance to remove ourselves from the term "asian" a term which does us no favours.
  3. There is an controversial but very education and eye opening story currently running on the BBC soap Eastenders. Its shows a venerable young girl who is of a broken home, impressionable, and naive, who has fallen in to the hands of a pimping gang who pass her around for sex among friends, yet still think one of the gang members loves her like a boy friend. At the same time charmed by flash cars, money, clothes and pretence of love. The sex abuse they are portraying is typical of the way Pakistani men treat non Muslim women, look no further in the recent derby case, and the cases and incidents over the years where Sikh and other non Muslim girls have been a victim of this abuse. The BBC however wouldn't dare use Muslim/Pakistani characters though, and have used white northern males as the groomers.
  4. That is bad news; it means we still have a government organization trying bracket us all under the banner of “Asian” The programmes should be dived on the basis of language Religion and background of country. I scan through nihals show to hear what they are up to, but urge everyone to boys the station. Also in your cars when you take the key out make sure, your turn of the radio with Raaj radio or some independent station to reduce audience figure and boost others compared to the so called Asian network of the boring broadcasting corporation. I HOPE THEY GET THE MESSAGE, THAT’S WHY WE HAVE OUR OWN ETHNIC TICK BOX, WE NOT PART OF NOR DO WE WANT BE PART OF YOUR SO CALLED ASIAN COMMUNITY
  5. I hope they go back to the 80s where they get no more than 2hours a day air time with some like Jay Patel on the show playing songs from Alaap and Apana Sangeet !!
  6. Good we also won’t have put up with fake Sikhs like Jasminder who is really RSS in disguise, he is given proierty on Nihals show and the bbc even phone Jasminder up to get him on the show when ever there is a Sikh debate, as they know it will critical of Sikhs. Which month is this bag of rusbbish closing down.
  7. oh dear... A TEENAGE drug dealer was spared jail when a court heard she had been forced into selling heroin and cocaine after being groomed by a gang of men. The 16-year-old girl had been exploited by the men, plied with drink and drugs and sexually assaulted, Bolton Magistrates Court heard. The girl’s family last night claimed she had been showered with compliments, alcohol and gifts before dealing drugs for the men after receiving threats. The case follows the recent sentencing of a gang of men in Derbyshire who had sexually exploited teenage girls, which prompted former Home Secretary and Blackburn MP Jack Straw to hit out at the culture of some Asian men targeting teenagers. Katie McFarlane, prosecuting, said the girl, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was called by a man she knew on February 9 and asked to sell drugs for him. Another friend drove her to Tonge Moor and around Bolton selling drugs, while she was directed by phone. The girl was arrested by police in Flora Street, Bolton, at 3.15pm with £159 in cash and a “large quantity” of drugs in bags inside her clothing, the court heard Ann Deakin, defending, said her client had been harassed by an Asian man with calls of a threatening and sexual nature. She said the defendant had been exploited and had previously been given cocktails of alcohol and drugs. Mrs Deakin also said the girl had been sexually assaulted by another member of the gang. The girl admitted possessing cocaine and heroin with intent to supply, supplying cocaine and two further counts of supplying heroin. She was sentenced to a 12- month intensive supervisionp rogramme — which will also give her up to 25 hours of help and support each week — and a threemonth curfew to remain at home between 7pm and 7am. After the case, a family member of the defendant said: “Older Asian lads in their 20s are targeting teenage white girls. “She was just enjoying the attention but this has really been a wake-up call for her. It has really affected her. She used to always be out and now she just wants to go to college and start again. “They were grooming her into drug dealing.” The relative claimed the same was happening to other girls in the town. http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/8900946.Teenager_groomed_to_sell_drugs/ Coming to a town near you
  8. I agree in sports terms, its just to show love of a sportsman or team, and no sports fan would really see someone like say Pele as god. It’s very dangerous when some one terms a self styled holy man as God.
  9. The so called Asian network run by the BBC = Boring Broadcasting Corparation, like to bracket us all "British Asian" lol Who are they to lable us, we are British Sikh.
  10. Break away from the Asian community once and for all we are Sikh and Punjabi. There’s no room for the term Asian Its Asians Pakistanis grooming girls in racially motivated sex abuse not us Its Asian Pakistani Pedos who target Kaffir Girls Not Us Jails are full of Asian Pakistani criminals not us WE ARE NOT ASIAN, WE ARE NOT ON BENFITS
  11. Can lead to idol worship. Stay away from it.
  12. ^^^Fair enough I will go with it was balanced, however this caller who always phoned up called Jasminder as he did here claims to be Sikh but is always critical aMd anti Sikh in all of his calls. He has never presented any view thats is of orthodox Sikhi way of thinking, and even once said that General Brar freed the Golden Temple in Operation Blue Star. Jasminder is nothing more than RSS in disguise.
  13. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/b006wqgk/Thursday/console Nihal and usual Anti Sikh lot. I have for bout 8 years Put British Sikh on any forms I fill out. We shouldn’t be bracket with the rest of the “Asian” Community. When Pakistanis groom white girls for sex the media always write Asian they are not spefic. Also they only time Pakistani see us as fellow Asians is when their own community is under scrutiny and they want to drag us in to the mud too.
  14. This is very good speech by Guramit no swearing no rant http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRrl57Cquzw he talks bout sp around 17mins and 19:30 some very good things
  15. I don’t know Guramit, but at a guess the reason for him not being with Sikh groups like you mentioned like SP, could be because of his age, if you’re talking bout 80/90s sp, that is because he would have been at school. It’s likely he identifies with EDL members, if he joins a Sikh group someone may say “well where your kesh” “who are you to preach” ?? things like that. What Gurmit and some edl speakers are saying is the same as sas but with different use of words. For me Gurmait what I have scene of his speeches he does have valid point in areas. H He has mentioned sp, saying his cousins where with them, and how people in the 80s talked of conversions. Turban campaign speakers who were swearing on stage at Gurmaits are warped people with “go f yourselves gurmit” A single Muslim has never got on stage or openly swore at 7/7 bombers or extremists. Then we have our own so called people swearing at of our lads, who speaks about the dangers to our and other communities. <BR style="mso-special-character: line-break"><BR style="mso-special-character: line-break">
  16. Thats a real Muppets comment by you there. Conversation of Sikh Girls started in late 70s in the 80s it was organized by people like the Aston panthers, 90s and today it's organized by gangs, students and organizations. EDL started in 2008. Conversation of all girls was brought up by the edl, and i thank them for it.
  17. I saw it and it was what I expected. The government and education authorities who have visited these schools have been mugged off. They visit these schools they show them and tell them what they want to, hear, when they leave the hate preaching starts. It requires tough action from MPS and Government. ...Will “Turban Campaign” poster get his “flag of intoralance” out after seeing this or will carry on defending extremists!
  18. Where are the Unite against Fascism? These girls were targeted by Pakistani men because of their colour they would never do it to their own. This is a Racially motivated crime. Where is the flag of Intolerance??
  19. Again the wider Asian community taking the blame for Pakistani Male Crime. Its time for one of these. Dear Sir/Madam: I wish to make a complaint about your use/abuse of the descriptive term "Asian" to generalise anyone from the continent of Asia and the sub continent of India. It would seem that your use of the term is typically one of negativity when a particular group is in the news for reasons other than socially and culturally conducive reasons. Many people are upset at the generalised term "Asian" when most of the population of the minorities who do come from the continent of Asia and the Indian Sub continent do not use this term. Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists, Chinese, Vietnamese, Burmese are all Asian, they can all be described under the terms of Asian and it is in my opinion quite wrong to generalise such a diverse swathe of people in this broad, sweeping inaccurate term. It is something I feel that is in danger of creating a broad distrust of minorities in general. If one community is in the news for criminal and public order issues then they should be described specifically, as the term Asian brackets many groups who are not the perpetrators. Jack Straw used the term “Men of Pakistani heritage" in case similar to this recently. Maybe you should use the same, as it’s more accurate. Yours Sincerely
  20. COMPLAINT LETTERS AND REPLYS I wish to make a complaint about your use/abuse of the descriptive term "Asian" to generalise anyone from the continent of Asia and the sub continent of India. BBC Online URL: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-12159058 reply from various media orgs Thank you for your e-mail and please accept our apologies for the delay in replying. Firstly we would disagree that we typically use the term "Asian" in negative circumstances. While it carries a different meaning from the American definition it is an acceptable description for people originating from a particular part of the world - indeed the BBC runs its own Asian Network. There is clearly no intention on our part to cause offence when using any descriptive terms. However, when talking about a Muslim or a Christian, for example, committing an offence of any kind, we are obviously not suggesting that all Muslims or Christians are potential criminals and would not expect people to make that inference. In the report you cite, we know only that the police have arrested the men and that they have all been described as Asian. We do not know their names or the countries of their origin. In general, the authorities are treating sexual exploitation as an issue often involving Asian men, and while it is fair to say the majority of those so far convicted have been Pakistani, this is not true of all of them. But while we have used the term Asian in our reports, we have also carried Jack Straw's comments which did refer specifically to the Pakistani community. In general, our policy is not to refer to someone's race, religion or sexuality unless it is relevant to the report. In our previous coverage of the Derby abuse case, we did not mention the men's origins, especially as the judge said that was only a coincidental factor. But since the conclusion of that trial, when the wider issue has been discussed more openly, there has generally been reference to it involving Asian men, with some specific references to those of Pakistani origin. So we do not feel that our use of the term is inaccurate, especially given the wider context that our reports on the subject have contained. We thought long and hard about identifying the racial elements of this case. Our decision to do so was based on: <LI style="MARGIN-LEFT: 15px">Background conversations with police and child sexual exploitation experts. <LI style="MARGIN-LEFT: 15px">An interview with the Muslim Forum which raised concerns about the willingness of Asian paedophiles to target white girls <LI style="MARGIN-LEFT: 15px">The contents of the Serious Case Review of the child protection issues relating to two of the Operation Retriever victims. This concluded the case raised questions about the ethnicity of the offenders, and recommended national research. A review of recent cases, many of which involved Asian men I think it would have been completely wrong to have ignored the race issue, indeed Newsnight's coverage appears to have done so, and attracted many complaints on the TV log. My coverage on TV has led to no complaints that I am aware of. I appreciate it would have been better to have been more specific about the racial backgrounds of these men. We asked the police about this, but they said the offenders had refused to answer questions in interview, as is often the case, and as a result there was uncertainly about their home lives, and backgrounds. Although the key offenders have typically Muslim names, we cannot be certain that the entire gang is comprised of Muslim men, and we can't be sure of their racial origins. Thank you very much for your email which has been passed to me. You make a very strong and vaild point and we thought hard and long before we published the story in the way we did. It is our policy never to make any generalised references about race where they are not relevant, for the very reasons you point out. But in this story, following so soon after the controversial comments by Jack Straw, we felt it relevant to the story that we should point out the context of the police investigation. We were not able to confirm that this group were of the same Pakistani background as the ones Mr Straw referred to, and that's why we used the term 'Asian'. Other news organisations seemed to have had the same dilemma and decided to use the term too. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-12159058 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/8252073/Nine-Asian-men-in-Rochdale-investigated-over-claims-they-groomed-teenage-girls-for-sex.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1346066/Gang-9-Asian-men-arrested-grooming-white-teenage-girls-sex.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1346066/Gang-9-Asian-men-arrested-grooming-white-teenage-girls-sex.html I am very sorry if our use of the term offended you and your community. I'm sure this email is of no comfort to you, you may even think it is worse that we actually thought hard and then still used the term. But I hope it goes some way to explaining why we used the term and to assure you that we it was not use glibly. Thank you once again for getting in touch. Very best wishes, Phil Phil Wardman Head of Newsgathering Online Sky News
