  1. That's not really an excuse, as there are people that have Muslim friends n maybe the only Sikh but if they have Gurbani and Sikhi in their lives which also teaches us of humanity regardless of race or religion, then that person is stronger not to divert. There are Sikhs that work in Muslim dominated countries and they seem to be ok.. Why? Because they have the love for Sikhi.. But i understand what u mean Paji, where youngsters are concerned they are likely to be more influenced, hanji you are right there.
  2. They are doing it for the reasons explained above ji, just because you have the sense not too, doesn't mean I'm giving them sympathy I'm saying it as it is, truth. A youngster from a loving caring and family that keeps the faith and Love for Gurbani in their house is less likely to go astray, as that love for Gurbani will be embedded in the youngsters soul, therefore less chance of being distracted.
  3. The reason the crime as you say is probably done if there is lack of family support in the first place. That's why the youth look elsewhere as they don't feel loved in the first place, or have the morals embedded in them ji.Hanji it is tough, but it also requires youth being nutured so they feel part of their faith too.
  4. Another thing I have noticed is there are very few Muslim girls that marry Sikh men. Maybe also as they tend to have communication more with their extended families, whereas some Sikh families if there is a problem in the family they will not get any help from relatives as being seen as degrading or shameful and then the youngsters tend to divert elsewhere as they think what's the point when their own relatives don't care. If there was more support in the community where youth would not feel isolated and could talk to somebody then they are more likely to stay within their faith and not have to look elsewhere.
  5. Agree with this, education has got nothing to do with it. It's lack of love for Sikhi that is the problem, and lack of respect for parents. I too have seen the more educated is the more they class themselves as having more choice and choosing to love who they want regardless of taking into consideration their religion. I know love cannot be forced or one cannot choose who to fall in love with but these people do have the choice of learning about their own faith which they can't be bothered to do.

  7. Sangat Ji, There's been 3 great responses to the Pastor Steven Anderson video where he disrespects Sikhi and the Gurus, claiming it to be a false Religion. Here is Jagraj Singh's short response where he gives his observations on the situation. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8nvizoPqymM#

  10. mysimran.info 2 hrs · All the argument of which religion is best? Gurbani tell us here that it is not what "religion" it is the action: Of all religions, the best religion is to chant the Name of the Lord and maintain pure conduct. Of all religious rituals, the most sublime ritual is to erase the filth of the dirty mind in the Company of the Holy. Of all efforts, the best effort is to chant the Name of the Lord in the heart, forever. Of all speech, the most ambrosial speech is to hear the Lord's Praise and chant it with the tongue. Of all places, the most sublime place, O Nanak, is that heart in which the Name of the Lord abides. ||8||3||
  11. Preet ji Gods grace can also change people's karm, only karm do not make a persons present. Even the Devi devte are begging for Gods name ji as they also are in Gods creation as u say everything is Of Waheguru. Nothing escapes God. Sikhi is the truth, and does guides us to worship Waheguru only. None of the bhagats in Gurbani asked people to worship them even though they were connected to God, this is because they believed in the one Waheguru. There is a difference between Hinduism and Sikhi, please do not confuse people or judge them on their spirituality, as I myself do not have that right to judge nobody but myself so I cannot say to somebody this this bla bla blaaaa. ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਮਿਲਣ ਕੀ ਇਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਰੀਆ ॥ गोबिंद मिलण की इह तेरी बरीआ ॥ Gobinḏ milaṇ kī ih ṯerī barī▫ā.
