  7. Recently I heard a speech on how Guru Nanak Saheb Ji's Sikhi is the same as Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Sikhi. I like that topic because alot of people say that they follow Guru Nanak's Sikhi not Guru Gobind Singh Ji. It was done by Parminder Singh (Gurmat Studies). He talked about how Sikhs were required to keep their hair from the time of Guru Nanak. And how Guru Gobind Singh Ji started the Khalsa which got rid of the Caste system which was the same philosophy as Guru Nanak Saheb Ji. I really found it interesting because it showed the similarities between the first and tenth Gurus. Most of the time people see Guru Nanak as a saintly person and Guru Gobind Singh Ji as a warrior, but that speech showed how the two are really the same and brought the same message. It was a really interesting topic.
  8. I think you are talking about Bhai Saheb Bhai Sarban Singh Ji. He use to be a Hazuri Ragi at Darbar Saheb, but is now staying at Dasmesh Darbar in Surrey.
  9. Pictures from the Gurmat Studies Foundation & Guru Nanak Academy Hola Mahalla Camp 2004 in Toronto are up at the following site: http://www.gurmatstudies.com/images/camps/...ohalla2004.html These pictures are from the camp at Malton Gurdwara & Katha darbars at Dixie Gurdwara. Watch out for a Gurmat Studies camp in your city during this summer! Here is a list of some of the cities Gurmat Studies will be holding a camp this summer: - Calgary, Alberta - Edmonton, Alberta - Surrey, B.C. - Montreal, Quebec - Seattle, Washington - Freemont, California These are just a few of the cities booked. There will probably be even more camps booked by the end of this month!
  10. I think that guy moved to Abbotsford.
  11. Yes, there is a guy in surrey. He's really good...he gets orders from all over. The only thing is that his rates are pretty high...but I think it's worth it.
  12. We will try to come to Malaysia in December during the SNSM Annual Samelan. We were going to come last December (2003), but we had already made plans for the Fresno camp so we had to cancel. Just want to let you know that 5 new kathas have been added over the weekend. 4 by Bhai Parminder Singh & 1 Bhai Tejinder Singh Ji - And there will be many more in the coming months!
  13. That would be great, but we do not have any contacts in those countries. We need to know who to contact for getting time at the Gurdwaras. Our organization is very excited to go and meet fellow gursikh brothers & sisters in all countries. If anyone wishes to call Gurmat Studies Foundation to there city or country to do English Katha they can just send me an e-mail giving me names of contact persons to talk to.
  14. I am very sorry about last time. We will try our hardest to come out to Dallas and visit the sangat there. I know that the sevadars are looking into booking a trip to Texas sometime within the next few months. Gurmat Studies Foundation will also be coming to overseas countries during the summer. This will include a trip to France, Italy, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, and maybe even the U.K.!

    3HO

Having met many 3HO Sikhs I have no doubt that they are devoted Sikhs. We can not question their devotion, but I would not say the same for their leader. I have seen him doing katha in Guru Ji's hazoori and drinking water during his katha as if it was some lecture in a classroom. I also find it odd that as a spiritual leader he is very rude...he can't go more than 5 minutes without swearing (That is only from my own experiences of meeting him over the last 12 years). Even more disturbing is the fact that some of his newer followers now say Yogi Harbhajan Ji's name in the Ardas along with the Guru's Name. Once again, I want to stress it is not the followers who are wrong, it is their leader.
