VJKKVJKF JagsawSingh does have a valid point it shouldn't have been mentioned... Its hard not to when you see the name singh and the guys mouth is filthily as a gutter esp towards another singh. Jkvlondon veer does have some good points too! I think it would be more of a Jagsawsingh type of view as the OP manger is very traditional and old school... he was kicking off why we should be allowed non uniform days for eid etc... lol hes not so very multicultura its a major mobile brand where the contact centre is outsourced by another company ,they scam "their customers" through various methods... You can have a manufacturing faulted device , have it repaired 6 times and they will not replace it but only offer another lousy repair... , most of the management is made up people who have licked their mangers asses to get any progression. I'll just stick to my guns that it wasn't meant in a derogatory way. Its shocking to hear such language from somebody with the name Singh. It was just a comment to say you are better than this. If its such a big issue we shouldn't have to say our real names on the telephones as MANY times people say racial things such as "Oh where are you based , thats a funny english name , you sikh b******* etc.... If your not happy with this then chalo , maaf karna it wont happen again. Regarding the good luck statement was genuine words of good luck. VJKKVJKF , thank you guys for the replies ! I've got holidays until todays... I just don't know how to explain "i don't expect this from a singh" to gora operations manger.. need to get the words right. There isn't a union as such.. I think i'm going to let it pay out , appeal it , stay humble and calm. If they do fire me its their loss and maharaj has bigger things planned for me Akaal!

His name was singh on his account and he confirmed it. i never said amritdari or assumed he was. On legal grounds if this went sour , this there anything i could do?

VJKKVJKF das works a mobile phone contact centre where we take calls for technical support. A Singh called in asking for the order of his recent battery. I informed him that due to a pervious mistake you can't get a battery replacement for this device as it is over 6monthes ( which is correct for the company policy ) Now the singh started to swear saying words such as SH!T , i advised that i would terminate the call if he kept swearing as i don't appreciate this kind of language especially from a Singh. This so called "singh" swore at me telling me to "f*** you then" my reply was ok then , good luck getting a new battery. The singh disconnected the call then. This so called "singh" has called in after i went and logged a complaint with the CEO saying i was being racist towards him. After listening into the call the operation mangers are logging this as a racial slur for saying singh and also as not good customer service. The company ceos want action taken against me including a investigation. The implications are i could lose my job for just stating : i don't appreciate this kind of language especially from a Singh. If i do get fired on these grounds and the company twists it as some kind of racial abuse , what can i do? Can i appeal this anyhow? This isn't justice. Any advice people? I'm based in the UK.

Malmal the really think stuff , its perfect its light weight and comfy for me its perfect as it doesn't hurt my ears. everybody has different preference though. length of my normal dhumala is around 9-11 meters..
