  2. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh. Wow just hatin on Nihangs in total. Nice. I think it's one thing to be concerned about a lack of Nihang participation in 1984, or worried about infighting etc, but that level of krodh is something to look at Veer Ji. Could you express your concerns without it reading like homosexual porn? Shukria

  3. I will be the first one to admit that I haven't done anything for the Khalsa Panth; definitely not. But all these <banned word filter activated> jathas and their bumboys with such lucrative budgets, outreach, weaponry and access to knowledge, what have they done? In the past 10 years not a single <banned word filter activated> jatha/samprada has questioned why Punjab has become so regressive; why our kids are being kicked around in foreign countries; who is supplying the drugs in Punjab. What they do instead is focus on some shitty calendar issue; whether the Dasam Granth is real or not; which jathas nuts are bigger and seeing what they can eat at all the '84 bhogs. If the crap hits the fan, we always have a petition or a protest. Whats the point of calling yourselves warriors of the qaum when you can barely arrange pheras at Gurughars? Much as it hurts me to say this, even bloody Nidar could do a better job of being Jathedar than these dimwits we have been presently blessed with. If the mainstream agitates over something, then the whole thuga di toli come running to get free media exposure. If the Suraj Prakash had been violated like Maharaj, than its a full guarantee that these kanjars (fearing for their gaap-chaap shops) would have been up in arms over the matter. Monato, Doaba, S4ngh and that other deleted . The entire qaum was being slaughtered on one hand, whilst on the other Santa was bending over for his mistress Indra. So lets imagine what would have transpired if Akali Phula Singh had been in Santa Nang's shoes? Would he have joined the British if they felt compelled to attack Sri Darbar Sahib because Ranjit Singh's policies weren't to his taste? Or would he have aligned himself with the greater Panth and given them a befitting reply?

  4. Waheguru Ji, Taking my leave from this forum (indefinitely) due to finishing my studies and moving back to Kaanada to continue further research there in my field. Wanna thank the many people on this forum for everything I learned and for everyone I bickered with Special thanks to Simran Penji for being so nicer to everyone and being so motherly, special thanks to MrDoaba for being my partner in our joint efforts to corrupt the sikh youth (Jai Mata Di!), to JFKLondon penji for being a regular and actually teaching me a bit with her posts, to SIngh12345678 for being someone who knows what the context of a joke is, for JSinghnz for showing that even our good old special people in society play an important part (im just kidding, dont execute me by guillotine) and thanks also to SINGH bhaji for bring all of these people together.

  5. You keep chipping away on as many fronts as possible until those who write the narrative of society deem your cause worthy of being noticed. If you're lucky, the cause is promoted and championed by these social trendsetters and mood-makers. Then watch how it passes into the acceptable and normal mainstream. Until then, be prepared to be demonised, slandered, and killed. It's all one disturbing game; disturbing because what's at stake are the lives of millions.

  6. I have been among the Dals myself and the kanjar po I have witnessed has convinced me that it is high time now that all these sampradas and jathas, who are doing nothing whatsoever for the common Sikh, be on the receiving end of the bullet.

  8. Mainly I think the fight is informational. If protest is required, be ready to fight on your terms, when the peaceful protest is made violent by the oppressors, and fully.

  9. Just do what makes you happy and makes your mental health get back to a good place only then you will be able to find any kinda work. If your mind isn't well your body will not be motivated or function to work or think properly Also dont worry about not having a job alot of people are out of work in this day and age. The 9-5 work secure permanent employment model is out of date these days work is alot less secure more temporary more day to day or monthly contractual work. Alot of jobs currently done by humans are gonna go soon when A.I machine learning robots take over so alot of people will be out of work than in work in a decade or so. Eventually you will find your own path in life in finding work or starting your own self employment doing something you enjoy.Just keep doing your nitnem and be grateful to waheguru for the positive things in life and benefits you do have compared to alot of other people in the world.

  10. Advocating violence will not change the Panth, it just makes you sound like a terrorist. Just because someone isn’t doing anything for the common Sikh doesn’t entitle them to death, this is insanity! You making these kinds of statements is what gives the enemies of the Panth “ammunition” to attack Sikhs with. Someone is going to screenshot your stupidity and then post it on some Hindu right wing site as proof Sikhs are terrorists or whatever.

  11. @13Mirch a Sikh of the Guru should not swear, let alone attack fellow Sikhs with swear words. Its very easy to make your point without swearing and personally attacking others.

  14. Nihang Witch Hunt? LoL, oh come on? Your going to do better than that if you’re going to defend a traditionalist sect that is dwindling in numbers and desperately trying to search for a way to be relevant in the modern age. Instead of sensationalizing this as a “witch hunt” just counter his arguements and move on. When you refuse to engage in a discussion, it’s inevetable that people will side with him or pressure you.

  15. INDIA ABROAD ALBERTA ALLOWS SIKHS TO DRIVE MOTORCYCLES WITHOUT HELMETS Friday, 30 March 2018 | IANS | Toronto Canada's Alberta province, which has the third largest population of Sikhs after British Columbia and Onatrio, will allow turban-wearing Sikhs to drive motorcycles without a helmet from April 12. British Columbia and Manitoba already allow Sikhs to drive motorcycles without helmets. Alberta's Transportation Minister Brian Mason said on Thursday that the exemption was granted at the request of the Sikh community as recognition of their civil rights and religious expression. The exemption applies to drivers and passengers over the age of 18 who are members of the Sikh religion. "Our government is committed to these principles," Mason said. According to an Alberta government spokesperson, a rider wearing a turban, but not a helmet, would have to self-identify to be considered a Sikh. At that point, it would be up to the discretion of the officer. If the officer doesn't believe the rider, a ticket may still be issued. The rider would then have to challenge it in court. http://www.dailypioneer.com/india-abroad/alberta-allows-sikhs-to-drive-motorcycles-without-helmets.html

  16. It's a bitter truth that laws are rarely respected when asserted on behalf of the "wrong" people, whether Sikh or Tamil. Regardless of how you feel about the federal New Democratic Party, you should be concerned with the recent public attacks on the party's leader, Jagmeet Singh. The furor blatantly demonstrates the racism entrenched in our media and politics. https://m.huffingtonpost.ca/krisna-saravanamuttu/sikh-tamil-jagmeet-singh_a_23396745/

  17. Some nihangs in the chakarvarti dal who are constantly on the move around in Punjab have dedicated their life for the seva of others. When I was in the dal, they said that people are always tied under their family problems, and having a family would make it harder for them as their wife cannot come into the chakaravrti dal while she’s pregnant as it would be too hard for her to move every three days, therefore they remain unmarried so they can freely do their seva without any problems.

  18. Why would you want to marry into a family that has such ridged views anyways? If someone judges you because you went to another country to study, then they aren’t worth your time. The impressions of others don’t mean anything, it’s all about the Guru.

  20. Singh you real need to read the English translations of Gurbani. Your eyes will open up to what it is called to live. Singhs around you don't live better lives. Instead of watching t.v. YouTube and movies the singhs focus on reading, singing, contemplating on Gurbani and doing seva when they have time away from working and family life. They are in a high spirited state of mind because they read Gurbani with the thirst to sing his praise more. Singing his praise brings the mind to a calming state. Today we are fed to much information where the news is constantly in your face with bad news. For the first couple of months turn off the news and constant social media feeds. They don't do us any good. They bring out anger, sadness, lust, and other negative emotions. The news is made to get these negative reactions, so we spread the word and they get more hits and subscribers. The world has been suffering from many different diseases since it was created. We can't fix the worlds problems and neither can any amount of worrying about a far distant problem be helpful for the current state your mind is in. Relax the mind by reading Gurbani. Listen to Akal Purakh praise with the phones we carry on ourselves as a little child would not let go of their teddy bear even for a second. Go to sleep early and wake up at amritvela to sing his praise. The western world attitude staying up many hours after sunset has a negative affect on the mind. If you are dealing with depression, anxiety, concentration issues or any other mental issue. Go see a professional. Get your vitamin levels checked out. You make have low iron and vitamin D. Both are very important to how much energy you have to function on a daily basis. Many punjabis have low iron and don't get enough vitamin D so they suffer from low moods and low energy. This results in feeling depressed and sad.

  21. The greatness of the Sikhs is not only that they uprooted the Mughal and Afghan empire, but the fact that they acted as an iron wall to the path of central asian hordes who went through Punjab to loot India. Even historian Hari Ram Gupta noted this as the main reason why Mughal empire finished is because of lack of Turkic and Afghan warriors in their armies, as a result they had to recruit and rely on the Indian Muslims who were physically weaker and not as aggressive as the central Asian warriors. With lack of fresh soldiers from central Asia to replenish the Muslim armies of India, the Muslim rulers could not resist popular uprisings through out India. You mentioned South India, did you know Tipu Sultan's empire was in South India. He had a strong army. He was also a fanatical Muslim who forcibly converted many South Indians to Islam. He like all the other Muslim rulers of India had sent letters after letters to the Afghans to invade India in order to crush the non-Muslims and replenish their armies with tough Pathan warriors. But you know why the Afghans could not come to India? it is because Sikhs would not allow them to pass through Punjab. Sikhs deserve most of the credit for ending Islamic rule over India. This is old history, even the recent Indo Pak wars. Sikhs soldiers were the deciding factors for which India did not lose territory to Pakistan. Int he first Kashmir war, the tribal Pathan army would have conquered all of j&K state had it not been for the Sikh soldiers stopping them because the coward Dogra army could not face the Pathan insurgents and began to run away instead of fighting. The Sikhs would have reconquered all of J&K state back but nehru stopped them from advancing any further. The 1965 war, the Hindu generals had told Gen Harbaksh Singh to retreat and give up all the territory up to the river Beas. But Gen Harbaksh Singh refused to follow this order because by doing so would have meant the Pakistanis would have conquered Amritsar which had Sri Darbar Sahib and this was unacceptable for the Sikhs. So Indian army(actually Sikh army) under Gen Harbaksh Singh prevented the Pakistani army from taking over such a large chunk of Indian territory. India owes a lot to the Sikhs. Unfortunately the Hindus have forgotten all this and rather than thanking the Sikhs they attacked us in 1984 and carried out the Sikh genocide.

  22. Describing Santa's and Zaila's threesome with Indra now are we? Is that what was happening when the Akal Takhat was under heavy fire in June '84?

  24. I always find it interesting from a psychological viewpoint when one is so far up another’s, or, in this case, a collectives arse to the point where they can most probably taste the Dabur hair oil...the collective being the Dal Panth here, until alas...the tables have turned, kachera drops, and cheeks are spread for further ramming; the accuser who shouts “Nang” quite evidently becomes the “Nang” themselves. This, beyond a shadow of a doubt, leads to repressed anger as can be seen in this thread as well as sounding like a stroke victim speaking gibberish elsewhere on the interwebs. And then they say so many Nihangs are mentally unstable...OHH EM GEE...I rather disrespectfully disagree. Akaaaaaaaaaaluuhh!

  26. How long did it take him to do that though? It was only when he saw an opportunity to promote himself at the expense of the Badals that he crawled to the Takhat. Nangs continually harp the anti-SGPC/Akali line, yet their great jathedar crawled to these very same institutes for forgiveness.

  27. Kaurs back in the day, then, must have hidden in holes in the grounds? The Gurus, too, must have been tied under their family problems. The only ones not tied down, it seems, then must be all these nangs you mention and obese-al-qaum Santa.
