  1. At the moment Sikhism is in its golden period. The next 50 years are crucial for its survival and prosperity. It is a make or break time for the faith. If we continue the way we are going Sikhi as we know it will become a insignificant religion on the world stage confined only to Punjabi people and not like a ethically and racially diverse religion like other faiths. Our time is running out. We must act now for the benefit of the next generations who are counting on us for their future. But we are on borrowed time. Unless drastic steps are taken to take the faith further and expand all around the world. If this is not done within the next 50 years it is game over. There will not be an opportunity like this again. Many if not all will eventually become athiest or convert to other religions. This is actually happening now but will get increasingly worse. The next 50 years is either success or failure as far as numbers go. After 50 years are up. There is no way of turning back the tide. That is why I stress the importance in a crucial period and juncture for the faith. We need huge scale missionary activity throughout the world from tibet to mongolia. Dont expect people to one day wake up and look at a basics of sikhi video on youtube then convert on their own will. Yes we can implement digital technology to reach to the masses but that is only one method. We need boots on the ground. Missionary centres on every corner of the earth to spread Guru Nanaks message. We must lobby our so called leaders to fund these projects. Money and resources need to be poured in for the effort to begin. Dedication and commitment is needed from us all. Sacrafices will need to be made. It will not be easy but we can achieve the goal with the right methods and knowledge. Dont think I am just typing this as a passing thought. I am in the process of setting up one of only in the UK of a Sikh missionary centre. If people are intrested in helping and are from the the east London area. Please contact me on ways you can help and contribute to the project. Any thoughts on this crucial period in time that we must act on? WJKK WJKF

  2. Q: Who is God? What does God look like? A: Guru Granth Sahib Ji describes and praises Him in the following shabads : "God is One. He is the Supreme Truth. He the Creator, is without fear and without hate. He is immortal. He is neither born and nor does He die. By Guru's grace shall He be met. Chant And Meditate on His Name. In the beginning, He was the Truth. Throughout the ages, He has been the Truth. He is the Truth now and He shall be the Truth forever" The most important aspect is to understand that, there is one endless God. He is indescribable, inestimable, indubitable, infallible, intangible, imperishable, immutable, immortal, immaculate, immanent, unconquerable, unique, formless, fearless, deathless, timeless, ageless, compassionate, omnipresent and creator of all. "There is only the One Supreme Lord; there is no other at all. Spirit, soul and body, all belong to Him; whatever pleases His Will, comes to pass" God loves everyone. This in sikhee is a unique universal Truth, unlike other religions, where their gods, godesses love their followers or devotees, but in Sikhee, Guru Jee tells us that He loves, even those who may belong to other religions, or even furthermore, do not believe in Him at all, yet He loves all jeeva atmas/souls, for all His particles, of His Akhoot Jot. Sikhs believe there is no one superior to God. Furthermore, Sikhs believe that God created all beings, animals, birds, creatures, including humans. When the first great Guru Nanak Dev Maharaj, the founder of Sikh faith, gave this definition to the people who believed differently in God, they were surprised and they asked him, who told you this and how did God come in existence? The great Guru explained that God Himself gave him this information. God has always been present. The concept of time is very worldly. There is no time, beginning or end when it comes to God. This is very hard to understand for us humans because we are used to the concept of begin and end with time. People further asked Guru Nanak Dev Ji about what does God look like? The great Guru preached that God is formless. God is beyond gender and shape. "He has no form, no shape, no color; God is beyond these three qualities. One understands Him, O Nanak, with whom God is pleased". God has no body, He is the greatest Spirit of all, and as seen above our soul is a part of Him. The main difference between Sikhism and some of the world’s other religions is that there are people who worship Jesus and believe Jesus is God, some people worship Buddha and believe Buddha is God. The Sikh Gurus themselves said, that they are not to be worshipped. They expressed very clearly not to worship anyone except God. Dasvee Patshahee Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj, even put it in harsh words and said, “Those who call me God will fall into the pit of hell. Consider me as a humble servant of God and have no doubt about it. ” He wanted to be very clear that He is not God and should not be worshipped. One should only worship the One Almighty Lord. While avtars of gods come and add multiplicity/variety/diversity, to the already agyanta spread by Maya, Guru Sahiban being His manifestation, out of utmost humility, say that, they are just His servants. WAHEGURU. Sat Sree Akal.

  3. Bhai Lalo and Malik Bhago Guru Nanak traveled to a number of places, including Saidpur, now known as Eminabad. Before Guru Ji arrived at Saidpur, the word has spread in the whole city that a holy man is going to visit their town. Malik Bhago was the chief of the town. He was a corrupt person and who had earned a lot of wealth through unfair means. He would charge extra tax to the poor farmers and would take most of their crop, leaving them hungry. He had become a wealthy person by taking other’s belongings. When Malik heard the news of Guru Ji’s arrival, he started preparing for Guru’s stay at his house. When Guru Nanak reached Saidpur, he knocked on the door of a poor carpenter named Lalo. Guru Ji chose to stay with Lalo for sometime as a guest. Lalo would serve Guru Ji with little food he could afford and Guru Ji would eat the simple food with love. News reached Malik Bhago that Guru Ji was staying with Lalo. Malik held a big gathering and invited all the holy men including Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Guru Ji did not accept his invitation. Malik became very angry that Guru Nanak Dev Ji refused his proposal and ordered to force the Guru to visit his place. Two guards were sent to Lalo’s home to escort Guru Ji. Guru Nanak Ji decided to go visit Malik’s palace. When Guru Ji reached Malik’s palace, Malik Bhago said, “O holy man, I have prepared so many dishes for you, but you are staying with a poor carpenter and eating his dry bread? Why?” The Guru replied, “I cannot eat your food because your bread is ill-begotten and has been made with money sucked from the poor through unfair means, while Lalo's bread is made from the hard-earned money.” Malik Bhago very mad after hearing Guru Ji’s remarks and asked Guru Ji to prove his point. Guru Nanak Dev Ji asked for a loaf of bread from Lalo's house. In one hand the Guru held Lalo's dry bread and in the other he held Malik Bhago's bread. Guru Ji then squeezed both breads with his hands. Milk dripped out from Lalo's bread while blood dripped from Malik Bhago's bread. Malik Bhago was completely shaken by his guilt and asked for forgiveness. Guru Ji asked him to distribute his ill-gotten wealth among the poor and henceforth live an honest life. Malik Bhago was re-born with the Guru's blessing. He started living an honest life.

  4. The purtan sources all reference SSGS, it was how sikhs lived during that time, so unless you're saying they didn't know true sikhi? The fact that you can't even provide them just shows you have none as they're alien to you, As I showed SGGS has been used to insinuate all sorts of things, from racism to hatred. Sorry that's not how logic works, you made the statement. SO back it up dogboy. If you continue barking about SSGSJ then please find tukhs and do your own arths, you can't because you can't even read Gurmukhi. People like you are the biggest hypocrites around, you bark and call others "worse than Ram Rai" but here you stand, can't even be arsed to learn about your own culture/religion and have the nerve to go around telling others about it, despite having NO actual knowledge on anything related to scripture. The muslims trying to discredit Sikhism probably did more than you, because atleast they actually attempt to read a little into sikhism. You're an embarrassment.

  7. The thing with Jagraj is. He was very likeable and had a eloquent way of explaining things. Which did not feel patronising or threatening to others. Theres probably many who have 100 times more knowledge of Sikhism then jagraj did but they dont have the charasmatic personality and talking ability as he did. Which is what made him so well liked amongst Sikhs and non Sikhs. Doing parchaar has alot to do with how you say something. Not what you say. Theres probaby thousands with the same carisma and gift of the gab as Jagraj. But they are probably not into Sikhism and are most probably moneh or lack the dedication and desire.

  8. Most whites aren't like this. They are the ones most into inter-racial than anyone else. At least in England. If they see a hot girl from any race they want her. End of. I wouldn't pay too much attention to backwater redneck thinking myself if I was you. Plus when you do genetic tests on these 'white people' you find that they commonly aren't as racially 'pure' as they like to think anyway. In amongst all their colonising and gallivanting around the globe, their ancestors have ended up shagging (and raping) a fair few non-white women. The genes of the children of these 'encounters' usually ended up back in mainstream white society.

  9. Yup i only started seeing it as genocide when I started seeing the real life cases of mixed sikh faith marriages producing hardly any Sikh kids. Thats a disgusting evil and genocidal reality of inter-faith weddings concerning our people. The white nationalists are complaning their white women are causing their race's genocide by sleeping around with blacks and producing mixed race black kids. Now that is a valid view to hold if your sole existance as a community is due to your race because black + white = non-white kid and that kid will identify and fit in to the black community always not the white. So there is justification for that view, it is a racist view but its a matter of real concern and survival for those white nationalist people. For us Sikhs we dont care for race. We care about our faith and keeping our faith alive, so we look for Sikhs marrying fellow Sikhs to carry on producing Sikh offspring who are strong in their religion and proud. And because most of our people are punjabi pendu's due to their parents not teaching them the basics, so they do not feel the need to go out and give parchar to non-sikhs so that they can convert more people to the faith rather they sit back and chill let others groom and convert our people into their abrahmic nonsense. So when we are attacked on a demographic and population level as well as ideological then we can see the real motive is to decrease our influence and numbers in the world.

  10. Well said, its far left punjabi atheists (usually communists) that have Sikh names or are born in Sikh families who feel they are entitled to tell us Sikhs what we should do in our religion and community. These people are aurangzebs in disguise.

  11. You've hit the nail on the head. The arguments made about the sanctity of the Anand Karaj are totally valid, but the crux of the argument is whether our community wants to survive or not. If Sikhs want to survive then mixed marriages must be stopped. It is ironic that the pro mixed-marriage brigade claim to be tolerant but are so full of self-hate/loathing that they can't tolerate their OWN community surviving !!!!

  12. Anand Karaj is not a ritual. It's Sikhs pledging their life to the way of Gurmat and prerequiste to that is to believe Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as your Guru. If person doesn't even believe in Sikhi then it is insulting our faith and Guru laid Anand Karaj. People like Sukh Virk go out and drink and have cut hair, but they try to act like they are Sikhs just because they're Punjabi. Typical pindoo, narrow minded Punjabi

  13. There is no justification for a Sikh to support mix marriage in a Gurdwara. It is one thing if one does not know and innocently supports Manmat out of ignorance. But when one is made aware what Anand Karaj is and that it is only between two Sikhs and still supports the Manmat of mixed Anand Karaj in Hazuri of Guru Maharaj then what can one say. They are mixing western universalism with Sikhi. This is a common mistake made by some Sikhs. They think since something is right according to western universalism it must be imposed on Sikhi. If they want a mixed marriage, have a court marriage. But leave the Anand Karaj alone.

  14. LOL So let me just get this straight.. Basically what you are saying is let's disregard sggsj. You speak of puraatan sources yet the terms of reference you are looking for are 18/19th century. Why is not sggsj enough for you.. You are challenging my assertion so if you have any academic understanding it is for you to provide evidence against my assertions.. You demonstrate to me, with evidence, how sikhi doesn't promote egalitarianism.. Dog Barking..? You sound like a pig squealing
