  1. The thing with Jagraj is. He was very likeable and had a eloquent way of explaining things. Which did not feel patronising or threatening to others. Theres probably many who have 100 times more knowledge of Sikhism then jagraj did but they dont have the charasmatic personality and talking ability as he did. Which is what made him so well liked amongst Sikhs and non Sikhs. Doing parchaar has alot to do with how you say something. Not what you say. Theres probaby thousands with the same carisma and gift of the gab as Jagraj. But they are probably not into Sikhism and are most probably moneh or lack the dedication and desire.

  2. VJKK VJKF This is just a discussion about totally about the spiritual side of things. All about mahapuraks, powers from naam and bani (personal and external experiences), any bachans you've heard from mahapurakhs, where you can get sangat just all that kind of stuff. There's nothing really about this spiritual side in depth on the website so hopefully we can help move towards deeper stages of spirituality. Anything do to with any of these topics just stick it on here. Maharaj Kirpa.

  5. Brother Guest Singhhhhh, it is not your true self missing the attention you mention, it is your ego. And as we all know, ego keeps us away from Wahiguru, as a thick hard wall. You are very young, it is normal to an extent what you feel and are going through, just as any ordinary teenager. So do not feel that bad, these things have to be gone through all the way as long as when one grows up, even then, many still remain in that fever , and develope it into a stronger bond, named kaam, from which even great tapasvees, rishis, munees, gods, fall prey to its poison. The thing is, to stay conscioussly awake in morality, by keeping an eye on the the mind at all times. It is difficult maybe in the begining, but with persistance and His kirpa, it becomes natural, and one has not to struggle to keep the balance at all times. Even then, one may slip at some time, but then too, one should get up at once and continue with one´s that right attitude. Just keep in mind, that Wahiguru has put His attention on you, he wants to pull you back to him, for that purpose, He gave you a human birth, he got you have Amrit, all this, in order to bless you with mukti for once and forever. So fight with your mind, as a brave veer, and tell it, that you are a devotee, a bhagat of Akal Purukh, not to trouble you, otherwise you will give it a double dose of bhakti, to knock it out and smash it into pieces. Remember, though you are very young, life is most uncertain, and if there is any permanent, unwavering, changeless Truth, that is Akal Purukh only. One day you will have to leave back this very body as a handful of ashes which no under brahm is seeking attention. Then what? When we go there, whose attention shall we seek? Absolutely nobody, as nobody is permanent, only He. The Bani clearly tells us : EKAS BIN SABH DANDH HAE. With what face full of shame, can we then look at His face. What if, He wishes to tell us, you did not give me attention then, so Me too, will not give you attention now. Of course He is so merciful, He can never ever betray us in any case, but we too, have a duty of respect and unconditional love towards Him, isn´t it? So brother be thankfull to Him, for all His priceless blessings upon you, and do ot get away from the path, on which He has put you. that also for your own benefit. After all this, act wisely. Rest is all your choice. Stay blessed. Sat Sree Akal.

  6. if you look into the whole of their history they have taken only: our philosophy, our look, our Gurbani and used it to make money never returned the love shown them by 'brown' sikhs either during the eighties, nineties or even now ...if you remind them to show satkar of Gurbani then we are 'taliban' ...and then cut off from putting our views forward. The other indian main ones are controlled from outside by inside stooges It's down to everyone to do their own little bit , in themselves, in their families and friendship groups and support BOS, Nanak Naam, Sikh2inspire and other upraley

  8. Agree, Bhai Jagraj Singh was down to earth, friendly and had good interpersonal skills. That’s what makes people interested in something. And he was passionate about Sikhi, you could tell he had pure love for God.
