  1. I did not state that the Kashmiris were part of a demographic jihad. They migrated to Punjab but the fact remains that they were not Punjabis and their numbers did boost the Muslim population in some districts. Lahore is an interesting example of how unfair the partition line was. Apart from the Sikhs owning a majority of the land in the district Lahore city was virtually all owned by the Sikhs and Hindus and they dominated the economic life of the city. Sikhs and Hindus owned over 67% of all the shops in the city, 80% of the registered factories, paid 10 times the sales tax compared to the Muslims, 13 out of 16 colleges etc. The reason that a part of Kasur tehsil of Lahore district was given to East Punjab was for a couple of reasons. Radcliffe probably wanted the make both Amritsar and Lahore equidistant from the border and to make more cities more defensible. Kasur tehsil had an even greater Sikh imprint than the other tehsils of Lahore district. The Sikh population was 29.7% in the tehsil compared to 18.3 % for the whole of the Lahore district. Sikhs also owned 63% of the total land in Kasur tehsil compared to 57% for the Lahore district. So it is natural that given the need to make both Lahore and Amritsar defensible Radcliffe chose to take a chunk of the majority Sikh owned Kasur tehsil and give it to East Punjab.

  2. Its not that we do not want them to live in their own muslim area's thats exactly what we want them to do, to live amoungst themselves and away from us non-muslims. The problem is that they come into our Sikh or other non-muslim area's slowly one by one in order to eventually take it over. So yes they do live to live in Sikh dominated area's not because they love to live with us but to take advantage of our safer hard working community neighborhoods with a view to eventually overrun it. So wherever you flee to, eventually the islamic question the islamic problem will come to your doorstep even if it isnt there yet eventually within 10-20years your area too will be overrun by muslims unless its somewhere out in the countryside or some sleepy far off town no one wants to live in except the elderly or rich. The amount of muslim migrants and refugee's that the west allows in is disgusting. All muslim immigration should have been stopped 30years ago because the demographics trend is that the poor countries around the world are mostly muslim dominated and so naturally they would want to migrate to richer non-muslim lands because islam is a failed economic ideology. They produce huge amounts of children and then feed of the state in the west contributing little or nothing for the nation.

  3. You have misunderstood my statement. I am not claiming these areas because the Sikhs ruled over them but that Sikhs owned the land. The Turks cannot claim Palestine because it was a part of their empire but the Palestinians can because they owned the land. It's not about rule but land ownership. Sikhs owned 57% of the land in Lahore district, the fact is that the British took the district from the owners and passed it on to the tenants much as in the analogy I gave in the previous post. Maybe you should tell the Palestinians to move on and lose any hope of recovering their land that the Jews took.

  4. I've been noticing this trend of so called "white flight" where the white people fled area's in the west where non-white communities had migrated into. However this is usually seen in the lense of the whites being racist and they only wanting to be with their own race of people. I however disagree I dont think its a mostly racist migration of whites to "white area's" I would say its a flight from area's that become more economically poor or culturally they cant relate to. So the area where I lived in the UK changed from being a quite mixed white, hindu, sikh, muslim, black area to one where the muslims had taken over demographically by sheer numbers either through immigration from other counties, conversions or large birth rate population over the years. And I noticed the whites, hindus and Sikhs gradually move out of these area's rather than stay and "fight" for their home towns/streets. The economically well off non-muslims fled to better off area's where there was more affluence and where they was more people like them living there. And where once hard working friendly hindu's sikhs whites dominating these high street shops and areas where I lived now I only seen halal food outlets, women in burka's and muslims and black and mixed race council estate hooded face covered chav's bringing a dark threatening environment. And as the muslims moved in those economically deprived but reasonable socially cohesive area's then that area went further downhill fast into higher crime and less friendly and safe environment on the streets. Similarly this is true of other area's in the world where muslims migrate to non-muslim lands and area's at the determent of that area/nation and slow fleeing of that non-muslim population to other area's. But I am wondering where will they flee to when Islam eventually creepingly like a long dark evil shadow takes over populations and area's. In my view there will come a time where there is no area or land available for non-muslims to flee to they will have to either submit to islam or give a fight response if they are to retain their unique religious or cultural identity or practices.

  6. AI is the biggest threat - much bigger than anything we will face in near future. People will be left jobless ! I have to agree with Elon Musk on this subject.

  7. It should not really really matter that areas become 'overun with muslims'. in fact its best to leave these areas. let the muslims be with their own kind. Muslims will alway be hostile to non muslims and vice versa. Think about the amount of grooming cases that would happen if Sikhs and hindus stayed in predominately muslim areas. It would increase tenfold. Its best Sikhs stay away from gehtto muslim areas. Do muslims like to live in Sikh dominated areas? no they want to be with their own kind. so let them. This is the fact of modern britian, america, canada and india. just about anywhere. people want to live with their own kind.

  8. You are right there was a fight over land in Gujranwala district between Sikh Jats and Muslim Jats and Rajputs. This is not to say that Sikh Jats did not own land in Gujranwala already but they along with Sikh Jats from Majha did take over Muslim villages. This type of land grab in those times when there was no central authority was quite normal. Muslim Bhatti Rajputs in Hissar district did grab land from the Hindu Jats before these lands were grabbed by the Sikh Jats of Patiala. The British when they took over in 1849 did pass the land in Gujranwala back to the Muslim Rajputs. In Gujrat the Sikh Lobanas took over villages from the Muslim Gujjars which they managed to retain even after the British took over. The above is not really relevant because the lands owned by the Sikhs in Lahore were lands owned by Jats who became Sikhs during the Misl and Maharaja Ranjit Singh period. So these lands were ancestral lands and not lands captured by force. The acquisition of land by non-agricultural money lenders was outlawed by 1901. So the lands acquired by such means would have been minimal after that.

  9. Wouldn't it be nice if all Sikhs took all destinations off their holiday lists leaving only the Punjab to visit. And they all went to the Punjab in Groups. You could hire a house in the pends, paying the families rent as there's always empty houses in the pend. This would give them some useful income too. I know we've all got our own pends but sometimes the relatives don't want to explore the Punjab in the same way we do. Land inheritance can also get in the way!!! Could you imagine a load of Amritdharis turning up in a pend! The villagers would feel so happy that their religion was alive outside of the Punjab! Seva could be done at the pend, Akand Paaths and Kirtan and Langars could be held at the pends Gurdwara! Life could be brought back into the pend! For the Amritdharis it would be cheaper than the usual junk holiday in spain and a lot more meaningful too, because, they'd be on the land of their Gurus!!!:waheguru:

  10. Sooner or later most of our jobs that we do today are going to be taken over by intelligent AI machines everyone is talking about it in IT tech circles. Already we have seen many jobs lost with automation. My uncles worked in the car industry making ford cars they lost their jobs in the late 80s to automated robots and machinery and so had to look for new jobs which meant financial and social upheaval for their lives at their households. And one of the values in Sikhi is doing good honest hard work and share with others. How are Sikhs meant to reconcile with this key value of doing a good days hard work if most of our jobs will be taken by AI machines? What will Sikhs do for income and staying true to Guru Nanak Ji's message? People say governments will be forced to give us all a universal wage to live on for the basics which is all well and good but as a human being we need work as a purpose to life and without work many will have a negative outlook on their lives I feel. Are Sikhs of today and tomorrow ready for the robot future?

  12. No i was watching a bbc 2 documentary on it and saw a few youtube ones also recently. What did they say on LBC? Elon musk is also the one spearheading the growth of AI and automation with his tesla driverless cars. He is right though, there are so many dangers with AI not least with these billionaires having all the jobs, money and control and therefore power in their elitist hands whereas rest of humanity will be left to suffer consequences of their decisions. I agree Just imagine that a robotic gyani thats all we need, better if there was robotic gurdwara committee members lol they probably would do a better job for the sangat.

  13. Be like a vending machine, swipe payment card for Sukhmani Sahib Paat and return for Auto ardaas 1.5 hours later or 30 mins if sped up, perfect for the ones who can't be bothered but gives them a feeling they've performed a great deed. Some seva is already automated in Langars all over globe, Sikhs should draw the line somewhere. Unfortunately, we have fat bellied (with greed) leaders who care more about where their next hotel is to be built than socio-political issues facing Sikhs. Imagine, walking in to a Gurdwara in the future where a robot is doing chaur sahib or taking vaak, scary!. With the overall decline in youth learning to read Punjabi, many generations will become further detached from Gurbani and unable to take vaak by themselves. I can imagine this being a cheaper option, after initial furore......let's hope these thoughts remaiin just that.

  17. Meera Dewan’s Dhun Mein Dhyan highlights the message of the Guru Granth Sahib Today inter-faith dialogue is perceived as essential to achieving peace and the Guru Granth Sahib is a treatise that functions as a model of inter-faith communication. The Granth, with its collection of devotional hymns and poetry of Sikh Gurus along with bhakts and Islamic dervishes, has only one message to convey and that is: “The Creator created many forms from the same clay Flawless is the clay pot; flawless, the Potter.” Well-known filmmaker Meera Dewan’s latest film, Dhun Mein Dhyan: Meditations in Music in the Guru Granth Sahib conveys just this. It is a multi-faith, multi-lingual dialogue in poetry, set to ragas. Full article available at http://www.thehindu.com/entertainment/movies/contemporary-and-relevant/article19708603.ece

  19. Some very useful Tips 5 THINGS YOU PROBABLY NEVER KNEW YOUR MOBILE PHONE COULD DO !!! In grave emergencies, your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. 1. Emergency Services ??? The Emergency No. worldwide for all Mobile Phones is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and your mobile will search any existing network in your area to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. This works on all phones worldwide and is free. 2. Locked your keys in the car? ???????? If you lock your remote keyless car keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their mobile phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button on the spare key, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be thousands of miles away. Editor's Note: I didn’t believe this when I heard about it! I rang my daughter in Sydney from Perth when we went on holiday. She had the spare car key. We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a mobile phone! 3. Is your mobile phone battery flat ? All handphone have Hidden Battery Power. ???????? To activate, press the keys *3370# (remember the asterisk). Do this when the phone is almost dead. Your mobile will restart in a special way with this new reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery life. This reserve will be recharged when you charge your handphone next time. This secret is in the fine print in most phone manuals which we skip without realizing. 4. Disabling a STOLEN mobile. ???? To check your handphone's serial number, key in following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 # Ensure you put an asterisk BEFORE the #06# sequence. A 15 digits code will appear on the screen that is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. If your handphone is ever stolen, phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the SIM is changed, your handphone will be totally useless. And even if you don't get your phone back, at least it can't use/resold either. If everybody did this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones. This secret is also in the fine print of most mobile phone manuals. It was created for the very purpose of trying to prevent phones from being stolen. 5. ATM PIN Number Reversal - Good to Know !!! ???? If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your PIN # in reverse. For example, if your pin number is 1234, then you would put in 4321. The ATM system recognizes that your PIN number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine. The machine will still give you the money you requested but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to the location. All ATM’s carry this emergency sequencer by law. This information was recently broadcast by Crime Stoppers. It is, however, seldom used as people just don't know about it.

  20. I personally think WAAAY too much is made of British 'divide and rule'. The British didn't really cause the divisions which exist in the subcontinent, they identified and exploited them. The divisions between Hindu/Sikh/Muslim, this caste and that caste, this country and its neighbor, have extensive historical precedents reaching back centuries before the Raj. Where the Brits succeeded was in preserving these divisions - come 1947, it was almost as if India had been in a stasis for 200 years. I think this notion of some omnipotent, endlessly scheming white devil is a convenient myth for a lot of South Asians, Hindu, Muslim and Sikh to absolve themselves of personal accountability for their own circumstances. In particular blaming the goraay for current problems such as Indian/Pakistani poverty is a very convenient way for the corrupt, money-grubbing elites of the two nations to continue their exploitation of their countrymen and simultaneously throw them off their trail. In my opinion bhenji most of the serious problems in South Asia are due to radical Islam or Brahminism/caste-Hinduism, and the mutually reinforcing relationship between the two. The Brits created neither of these things.

  21. Aristotle — ‘Give me a child until he is 7 and I will show you the man. ... ― Aristotle, The Philosophy of Aristotle Khalsa Aid should be only be educating, nurturing the next generation of Sikhs across the globe from Punjab, India, through to Europe, North America, etc. They should be tapping into the poorer Sikhs of Punjab, all ages, all castes, including other religions bringing them into Sikhi, making them the next Saint Soldiers in all walks of life, ie Doctors, teachers, artisans, industrialists, farmers, even politicians who can represent the Sikh Panth on the Miri Piri principle. Over half all of Khalsa Aid should go to existing Sikh Kaum and then to only potential new converts. Why do you think Ram Rahim Singh got a foothold in India with over 60 million converts? I certainly will no longer donate to Khalsa Aid but there are fortunately 101 other Sikh based charities looking out for Sikhs first and foremost.

  22. why speak on a subject you clearly misunderstand ... a person making up his own 'religion' cult is not a sikh or a muslim or anything he is a fool looking for other fools to fleece. I do not understand the stupid blood feuds going on in Islam , what happened many centuries ago why are you still trying to shed blood over it , surely the point is to submit to will of Allah and accept the past and move on by making your lives fruitful by doing your ibadat to realise hikikat?

  24. To begin with, you need to erase your whole perception of religion as a whole. Many times I see Muslims try to view Sikhi or any Dharmic faith through an Abrahamic lense and comparative criteria. Which is absolutely pathetic and does no justice to them when trying to understand the faiths at hand. In Gur Rattan Mal and Sri Gur Katha, there is a recorded instance of Sikhs capturing a Muslim Ranghar or Pathan woman as a form of revenge upon muslims, this was strongly detested by the Tenth Guru who ordered for the woman to be returned untouched, instructing the Khalsa to not stoop so low, as the Panth was made with to encompass morale. It's well established in Sikh scriptures and history (of the gurus and their Sikhs) that independence, sovereignty, and freedom of expression and practice, that conforms to the common moral reasoning and principles expected from all of human civilization and Gurmat, is a core principle that all Sikhs hold onto. In the biographies and hagiographies the Gurus and the Bhagat Sahibans, there are numerous instances in which the Gurus opposed such evil. ਕਬੀਰਜੋਰੀਕੀੲੇਜੁਲਮੁਹੈਕਹਤਾਨਾੳੁਹਲਾਲੁ॥ " Kabeer, to use force/coercion (Zori) is tyranny, even if you call it permissable." -SGGSJ Ang 1374 Slavery would be vehemently against the Gurmat principles laid down by our Gurus. Due to their treatment of conquered people (rape, looting slavery, etc.), The Tenth Guru had called the marauding Muslims 'Asurs' (Demons) and Malech (Barbarians). "To slay the Asur (Demon), To kill the Durjan (wicked men), to eradicate Sankat (crisis, calamity, hardship, scourge), The Khalsa has been made." -Sri Guru Sobha, Kavi Sainapat Ji. To endorse, condone, and practice slavery is a crime that directly opposes the principles of the Gurus (ones instated especially by the first and the tenth) as well as basic morality.

  25. If Rohingya become Sikh or Hindu or even Jehovah's witnesses then they obviously stop being a part of the Islamic demographic jihad and stop being a threat to other Burmese communities and would not be kicked out of Burma. In a Jihad there are obviously two sides and you can't expect Sikhs to support the side that is engaged in trying to amalgamate the area of another country into a Muslim state.

  28. Guru Nanak Dev ji spoke against Caste system which is through manipulation has become a slave system where people are trapped by accident of birth into remaining at the bottom of the pile - no life, no chance of salvation, no solace of faith as hearing prayers could mean punishment such as hot lead being poured into the ears, or eyes blinded, or even death. Guru ji Not only refuses the janeu as it differentiates between one man and another , and man from women in terms of rights. He actively went to 'lowly' peoples homes and ate and kept their company. Bhai Mardana was a mirasi and that was considered almost like a beggar status , he was a muslim and yet Guru ji embraced him as his brother. Guru ji destroyed the concept of slavery by preaching against the concept both in India and abroad in all the religious centres .In fact the documented visit to the vatican explains that Guru ji told the Pope in no uncertain terms that man has no rights to enslave others as all are one family under Akal Purakh
