  1. I think you are missing my point. There are rapists in every religion and every community. I have admitted that Sikhs raped and abducted Muslim women in revenge for what was happening to Sikh women in West Punjab and what had happened in Rawalpindi in March 1947. BUT the point is that these Sikhs were going against the teachings of Sikhism whereas a Muslim raping a non-Muslim women can find easy justification in the teachings of Mohammed. Those Burmese Buddhists weren't following the Buddha when they raped the Rohingya women although I do find it hard to believe that Buddhists would rape Muslim women in a majority Muslim country and whilst being held in incarceration in a detention centre.

  2. Cultural? But isn't sex segregation a TENET OF ISLAM? How can it be cultural when it is an accepted practice of Islam? You see you are now practicising taqqiya by telling a falsehood. You are refusing to put the blame of the rape jihad in the west on Islam.

  3. Good reply, this yoyo is a mild muslim nationalist he doesnt realise how non-muslims see what we are seeing with their demographic threat to other cultures and religions. Islam is like the borg in star trek you wither get taken over and absorbed within it or destroyed there's no other way to co-exist with large muslim populations in the long term. The main bones of contention with the buddhists not only of burma but of sri lanka and thailand too is the looming muslim demographic population threat. They have held back for years not to rock the boat but I think they have realised they have to deal with the muslim question sooner or later and they are dealing with it now rather than later. Its sad on a human level the sane humans will sympathize with anyone thats being genocided, ethnically or religiously cleansed out of their lands or area's they lived for generations but in the wider historical and regional context this is a religious and ideological struggle for survival for the buddhists and Buddhism in their last bastions of self rule and existance. Whereas islam has 50+ countries as its state religion and vast area's of land and resources where rohingyas could be resettled and accommodated also the muslim illegal migrants and refugee's that headed to europe have no business being in non-muslim lands they should be settled in muslim rich lands to live the islamic life their faith requires.

  4. Most of the Kashmiris were actually settled in the Lahore division which they boosted the Muslim percentage by about 2.5%. They were negligible in Jalandhar district and in Amritsar they boosted the Muslim percentage by 3%. The Sikhs lost their best lands because the population factor was given importance over land ownership whether in specific areas or in overall land ownership. In the British Punjab the Sikhs owned 27.7% of the land and so should have received 27.7% of British Punjab and if combined with the Sikh states then double the area of the present Punjab in India should have gone to the Sikhs. The Sikh owned 57% of the land in Lahore district and so Lahore district should have gone to East Punjab. The irony of the so-called border ceremony at Wagah is that both these Muslims and Hindus are standing on land that belonged to Sikhs!

  5. Multiculturalism was well entrenched in the west prior to 9/11. Sikhs did have issues in the 70s when they had to fight to wear turbans in the transport sector initially but the turban and kirpan were well accepted by the host communities. However, after 9/11 this has changed and Sikhs now face some harassment from airport security staff in some countries. I doubt if Islam and Muslims are removed from the west that the Sikhs will then be next.

  6. why speak on a subject you clearly misunderstand ... a person making up his own 'religion' cult is not a sikh or a muslim or anything he is a fool looking for other fools to fleece. I do not understand the stupid blood feuds going on in Islam , what happened many centuries ago why are you still trying to shed blood over it , surely the point is to submit to will of Allah and accept the past and move on by making your lives fruitful by doing your ibadat to realise hikikat?

  9. But how can you reform Islam when the best example of the followers of Mohammed are ISIS, Al Qaida and Taliban? You cannot reform Islam you can only discard it. Be honest the world would be a better place were there no one following Islam. Before you accuse me of advocating genocide, this is not it at all. I believe that once Islam is challenged and Mohammed's dubious character exposed then it will fall. There will always be the psychopaths and sociopaths who will want to follow Mohammed because he advocated the rape and the mass killings that these psychopaths find pleasure in but then they will need to be dealt with by the world community. Even if there was even a slight chance of reform, what is there to prevent a reversion back to the real Islam of Mohammed in subsequent Muslim generations. A reformed Islam will always be a ticking time bomb ready to literally explode at any time!

  10. It's actually the reverse. The radicalisation of non-muslim countries has been because of Islamic terrorism. Had there been no 9/11 and the subsequent Islamic terrorism there would have been no Trump.

  11. What those Sikhs did to Muslim women was deplorable and no Sikh I know has ever defended that. You can somehow understand why is happened because exactly the same thing was done by the Muslims to the Sikh women in the villages of Rawalpindi six months before. So it was a case of Muslims following Mohammed's command to rape non-Muslim women and six months later the Sikhs going against the teaching of the Gurus and doing the same to Muslim women. I doubt that if the Muslims had not raped non-Muslim women in Rawalpindi then the Sikhs would have indulged in rape of Muslim women. So there is the difference. The Muslims were following Mohammed's commands and the Sikhs were not following the Gurus.

  12. Anyway with any knowledge of Islam will tell you that demographic jihad has been a part of Islam since it's very inception. The aim of Islam is to dominate. If it cannot dominate through force it will seek domination through out breeding the non-Muslims. You state that there is much sympathy for the Rohingya? Really, do you think a country where Muslims will happily bomb a Mosque belonging to another sect of Muslims who are their neighbours will have sympathy for a group of Muslims a thousand miles away? There are lakhs of Biharis in camps in Bangladesh who are not allowed to migrate to Pakistan by the Pakistan government. These Biharis actually showed their loyalty to Pakistan by fighting for Pakistan in the 1971 war. So if Pakistan doesn't even want to allow Biharis who incidentally speak Urdu the national language of Pakistan then why would Pakistan allow Bengali speaking Rohingyas who have less chance of integration than Biharis?

  13. I think that YoYo guy is used to people tip toeing around Islam and accepting his BS that Islam is a religion of peace even as they see bombs going off all around them set off my Muslims. Truth is the only antidote when dealing with Muslims. Muslims cannot live in peace with non-Muslims. I have spoken with people who are in their 80s and who remember living peacefully with Muslims prior to 1947. Their recollections are that community relations were good but when the Pakistan demand was raised then these relations worsened, The fact is that the vast majority of Muslims in British Punjab prior to 1947 were non practicing and did not live by the dictates of Islam. This was why they had good relations with non-Muslims. After 1947 as Pakistan has become more and more islamicised and Muslims have started to become more and more religious then the lives of non-Muslims have become worse and worse. It is an unfortunate fact that the more Islam equals more violence against non-Muslims. Now that will come as a shock for YoYo because as I stated above he has had non-Muslims tip toe around him all his life so a dose of reality will come as quite a shock for him.

  14. The problem with a sizable muslim population is that their religion at one point or another will real it's head up, followed by Islamic nationalism. It's a group of people that cannot, and will not conform to the moral culture that's present in the rest of the world. But would rather seek to dominate. Even secular, pre-dominantly Muslim countries are becoming increasingly Islamic and conservative. Bringing such people in, without an effective plan to dissolve, neutralize and integrate them is dangerous to the host country. Learn from Europe's mistakes.
    3 points
  15. The Rohingyas are a part of the demographic jihad, there is no such Sikh demographic jihad in Malaysia so your comparison fails. Also the Sikhs are a asset to any nation they migrate to, the same cannot be said of Muslims. You probably live in a make believe world that Muslims are great citizens and that Islam is some kind of gift that the Arabs gave to the world but whereas I wouldn't want to be so cruel as to burst your bubble but the truth is the opposite to what you believe. Muslims in which ever country they migrate to become a liability and a danger to the safety of other citizens of that country. More and more people are becoming aware of this and that is why Muslims are not wanted in any non-Muslim country. Don't be fooled by leftist fools holding up 'refugees welcome' banners in the west. A few months ago an opinion found that a majority of Europeans want an END to all Muslim migration into Europe. I hate Modi but in this case he is 100% right. The Rohingyas should be deported to Bangladesh without fail as well as the 20 million illegal Bangladeshsi in India. There are already Rohingyas in Pakistan and they are at the bottom rung of Pakistani society. I doubt Pakistan would allow Rohingyas to migrate from Jammu to Pakistan. The Arab countries don't want the Rohingyas. Even though these Rohingyas would be the first to demonstrate against Israel if Israel did anything to the Palestinians. Muslim govts don't want Muslim refugees. Maybe this is because the govts knows what Muslims are like and they can only control a certain number and any more than that it would be chaos. There are still lakhs of Muslim Biharis in Bangladesh who fought on the side of the Pakistan during the Bangladesh war and they haven't been allowed to go to Pakistan in over 40 years and you think Pakistan would allow Rohingyas there!

  16. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddhism#Spread_of_Buddhism Spread of Buddhism Main article: Timeline of Buddhism The spread of Buddhism at the time of emperor Ashoka (260–218 BCE) Buddhism may have spread only slowly in India until the time of the Mauryan emperor Ashoka, who was a public supporter of the religion. The support of Aśoka and his descendants led to the construction of more stūpas (Buddhist religious memorials) and to efforts to spread Buddhism throughout the enlarged Maurya empire and into neighbouring lands such as Central Asia, beyond the Mauryas' northwest border, and to the island of Sri Lanka south of India. These two missions, in opposite directions, would ultimately lead, in the first case to the spread of Buddhism into China, and in the second case, to the emergence of Theravāda Buddhism and its spread from Sri Lanka to the coastal lands of Southeast Asia. This period marks the first known spread of Buddhism beyond India. According to the edicts of Aśoka, emissaries were sent to various countries west of India to spread Buddhism (Dharma), particularly in eastern provinces of the neighbouring Seleucid Empire, and even farther to Hellenistic kingdoms of the Mediterranean. It is a matter of disagreement among scholars whether or not these emissaries were accompanied by Buddhist missionaries.[425] Coin depicting Indo-Greek king Menander, who, according to Buddhist tradition records in the Milinda Panha, converted to the Buddhist faith and became an arhat in the 2nd century BCE (British Museum) In central and west Asia, Buddhist influence grew, through Greek-speaking Buddhist monarchs and ancient Asian trade routes. An example of this is evidenced in Chinese and Pali Buddhist records, such as Milindapanha and the Greco-Buddhist art of Gandhāra. The Milindapanha describes a conversation between a Buddhist monk and the 2nd-century BCE Greek king Menander, after which Menander abdicates and himself goes into monastic life in the pursuit of nirvana.[426][427] Some scholars have questioned the Milindapanha version, expressing doubts whether Menander was Buddhist or just favourably disposed to Buddhist monks.[428] Other examples of the influence of Greco-Buddhism can be seen in the history of the school of Dharmaguptaka. This early Buddhist school, active in north-western India, was in all probability founded by a Greek monk by the name Yonaka Dhammarakkhita, native of "Alasanda" (which could be either Alexandria, Egypt or Alexandria on the Caucasus in modern Afghanistan, two cities of many founded or renamed by Alexander the Great. This school played a critical role in the spreading of Buddhism to central Asia and China and eventually to other parts of the far east. Further, some of the earliest written documents of the Buddhist faith are the Gandharan Buddhist texts, dating from about the 1st century CE, and connected to the Dharmaguptaka school. These texts are written in the Kharosthi script, a script that was predominantly used in the Greco-Bactrian and Indo-Greek kingdoms of northern India and that played a prominent role in the coinage and inscriptions of their kings.[429][430][431] The Theravada school spread south from India in the 3rd century BCE, to Sri Lanka, and later to southeast Asia (Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia and coastal Vietnam).[432] The Silk Road transmission of Buddhism to China is most commonly thought to have started in the late 2nd or the 1st century CE, though the literary sources are all open to question.[433][note 52] The first documented translation efforts by foreign Buddhist monks in China were in the 2nd century CE, probably as a consequence of the expansion of the Kushan Empire into the Chinese territory of the Tarim Basin.[435] In the 2nd century CE, Mahayana Sutras spread to China, and then to Korea and Japan, and were translated into Chinese. During the Indian period of Esoteric Buddhism (from the 8th century onwards), Buddhism spread from India to Tibet and Mongolia. Johannes Bronkhorst states that the esoteric form was attractive because it allowed both a secluded monastic community as well as the social rites and rituals important to laypersons and to kings for the maintenance of a political state during succession and wars to resist invasion.[436] During the Middle Ages, Buddhism slowly declined in India,[437] while it vanished from Persia and Central Asia as Islam became the state religion.[438][439]

  17. The figures are from the 1931 census of Punjab which was the last time that caste and ethnic origin were taken before partition. Kashmiris in Lahore district 26K out of 1.2 million. In Lahore division 119K out of 4.8 million. In Amritsar district 27.4K out of 907K. So being economically backward gives the Muslims the right to usurp the lawful property of Sikhs. So if you have a house and you rent it out to 5 tenants then those tenants should become the owners as they outnumber you and they are more economically backward than you as a property owner?

  18. We are talking about the rape and abduction of Muslim women. You are right the Sikhs having been backed into a corner and seeing that their best lands and religious shrines were going to Pakistan they resorted to violence to drive out the Muslims. The Muslims would still have been driven out because the Muslims did the same to the Sikhs in West Punjab. But if there had been no rape and abduction during the Rawalpindi massacres in March 1947, they would have been no rape and abduction of Muslim women in East Punjab after August 1947.

They won't come to the aid of Sikhs but would be more than happy to dig our graves. Khalsa Aid and all these other organizations needs to focus and channel their resources to needy Sikh populations across the world, and not to these rohingyas or other muslims, they already have a community to care for them.

For when there was nobody, nothing, it was His Jot which existed. And about this very Guru, Gurbani tells us something about Him: Aad Guray nameh I bow to the Primal Guru, Jugaad Guray nameh I bow to the Guru woven through time Sat Guray nameh I bow to the True Guru, the true identity of the self. Sri Guru devay nameh I bow to the Great Guru whose great glory will always be. Guru: that which brings us from darkness of Maya and agyanta (GU), to His light, His Jot, His wisdom (RU). 22. If Rohingya become Sikh or Hindu or even Jehovah's witnesses then they obviously stop being a part of the Islamic demographic jihad and stop being a threat to other Burmese communities and would not be kicked out of Burma. In a Jihad there are obviously two sides and you can't expect Sikhs to support the side that is engaged in trying to amalgamate the area of another country into a Muslim state.

  24. It wasn't a Muslim doing something stupid, it was a Muslim following the dictates of Mohammed treating a non-Muslim girl as his sex slave, the same as Mohammed allowed his followers. In fact that same that happened in most every country that Muslims have settled in. So this kind of treatment of non-Muslim girls is an Islamic trait. So if the Burmese start to riot because they see an Islamic trait being exercised in their country then you cannot really blame them. The Muslim rape jihad in Europe is well known around the world now so the Burmese do not want their women to face the same thing. You are right, the Rohingyas were on the British side during WW2 but do you also know that the Rohingyas used the weapons given to them by the British to defend Rakhine from the Japanese to attack and kill Buddhists. This is where the animosity stems from.

Over half all of Khalsa Aid should go to existing Sikh Kaum and then to only potential new converts. Why do you think Ram Rahim Singh got a foothold in India with over 60 million converts? I certainly will no longer donate to Khalsa Aid but there are fortunately 101 other Sikh based charities looking out for Sikhs first and foremost.

  29. You are right there was a fight over land in Gujranwala district between Sikh Jats and Muslim Jats and Rajputs. This is not to say that Sikh Jats did not own land in Gujranwala already but they along with Sikh Jats from Majha did take over Muslim villages. This type of land grab in those times when there was no central authority was quite normal. Muslim Bhatti Rajputs in Hissar district did grab land from the Hindu Jats before these lands were grabbed by the Sikh Jats of Patiala. The British when they took over in 1849 did pass the land in Gujranwala back to the Muslim Rajputs. In Gujrat the Sikh Lobanas took over villages from the Muslim Gujjars which they managed to retain even after the British took over. The above is not really relevant because the lands owned by the Sikhs in Lahore were lands owned by Jats who became Sikhs during the Misl and Maharaja Ranjit Singh period. So these lands were ancestral lands and not lands captured by force. The acquisition of land by non-agricultural money lenders was outlawed by 1901. So the lands acquired by such means would have been minimal after that.

  30. Same thing people said about Christianty. But u see Christianty has been reformed. There is no way that 1.8 billion people would discard Islam as first thing in the morning just because right wing sikhs, hindus or white don't like it. Reformation is the practical solution. There is no other way.People have emotional attachment with religion. Even a person like myself who is completly aware that Quran is nothing but creation of Muhammad's own minbd find it hard to hard dicard my identity as a Muslim. You can imagine the level of attachment practicing Muslims would have. Al qaeda,Taliban,Boko Haram all of them are followers of strict wahhabi ideology. This wahhabi sect does not even amount to 1% of global Muslim population yet they somehow have managed to get all media attention and portray themselves as true representative of global Muslim community. This needs to change.

Their parents should just let these kids cut their hair and prevent total beadbi of guru's roop, as in the video above.

  36. 1) That is not true bhenji, read about the history of the Sewapanthis, the order descended from Bhai Kanhaiya, who did precisely that. Many of their good works were carried out in the Muslim areas of the Punjab in order to counteract the poison being spread about the Khalsa by the propaganda of Mughals and toxic Maulvis. Their selflessness also attracted thousands of Muslims to the Sikh fold. 2) I agree, the Sikh demographic situation is a ticking timebomb. But if we just selfishly hoard all our resources like every other panth in the world (christian, hindu, muslim) people are gonna look at us and assume we are no different than they are - with good reason. And when they start thinking that they will lose all interest in Sikhi, or the thought of becoming Sikh. Our ancestors became Sikh because they thought it was something better, something different from the rest. We should celebrate our uniqueness, not try to copy the thinking of others "Muslims only look out for Muslims, therefore we Sikhs are only gonna look out for Sikhs". Why should Sikhs take their cues from the Muslims when we have our own Gurus and an endless litany of Mahapurash to inspire us? In any case, Seva shouldn't be a game of religious politics. I think everyone would do well to read, reread and read again the excellent post by SoulSingh and ponder it for a while. Seva with an agenda is not seva at all.

  37. Unfortunately this is a mentality that we have in the Panth of people who would much rather help non-Sikhs than Sikhs. Khalsa Aid has always been about publicity and there was no publicity to be gained in helping Sikhs. It would go to places like Kosovo where the western nations had donated tens of millions of pounds in aid and it basically replicated the work of larger charities. The same is the case in Haiti, Nepal etc. It's just there for publicity as there are other charities that do exactly the same work as KA. It is only in the last few years that they have been helping in Punjab but initially it was always about helping non-Sikhs at the expense of Sikhs. The project in Punjab are probably the outcome no doubt of Sikhs questioning the charity on why is was not helping Sikhs and only helping non-Sikhs. According to the charity's accounts it has over £2.4 million in the bank no doubt the vast amount donated by Sikhs. That's a hefty amount and one if used correctly could help tens of thousands of Sikhs in Punjab but KA probably thinks that would be waste and the money would be best spent on non-Sikhs. The biggest irony that you have outlined is that no non-Sikh charity has ever thought to help Sikhs anywhere in the world. But we have a Sikh charity that goes out of it's way to go to Burma to help Muslims when the Muslims have over 50 odd countries which should be helping them. All Khalsa Aid is doing is ensuring that the rich Arab countries do not need to stump up cash for their fellow Muslims in Burma because KA has the bright idea of spending the Panth's money there! Personally I would say that we need to help charities like Sikh Relief who have now not only just help Sikh prisoners and their families who have been forgotten by the Panth but also dastar camps and other parchar activities in Punjab.

  38. The Singhs who dragged Bhai Kanhaiya before Kalgidhar Patshaah sounded very similar to you. "Why give water to some muslim, an enemy, when you could be giving water to a Sikh instead? Shouldn't the Sikhs be a priority?" I shouldn't have to remind you how this turned out for them. When Dashmesh Pitaa asked Bhai Sahib why he had done this, Kanhaiya replied "I saw no Mughal or Sikh on the field of battle Maharaj, I saw only you". Guru Gobind Singh said that of all those present in the group Kanhaiya alone had understood the real message of Gurbani. Bhai Kanhaiya was right. The Singhs were wrong. I believe you are wrong about this too bhenji. Be careful not to become so obsessed with protecting 'sikhi' that you forget what you're supposed to be protecting in the first place. Helping somebody is never a waste of anything, it is not only one of the best things we can do for others, but one of the best things we can do for our own Sikhi.

  39. People are giving donations freely, knowing very well where it will end up going. Do it doesn't really count as wasting. If Sangat" was so caring about Punjab, they could just as easily donate to other groups.

  40. because it is politically incorrect to say anything which is remotely anti Hindu. It always amazes when i see some people here who remember mughal atrocities (which should be remembered as mughals committed horrible atrocities on sikhs,no denying that) while ignoring the role of some hindu who betrayed sikh gurus i.e Lahore's finance minister chandoo shah who very pissed when Guru Arjan Devji refused to wed his son to his daughter. And from that moment he made his mission to take revenge of this humiliation from Guru.I don't advocate that all hindus should be held accountable for this. But I do say that we should not cherry pick history.Speak truth always

  42. Brother Gurpal_1, for sure the soul will merge in Him whensoever He decides to finish the creation, for there will be no deivs, devtas, devlok, Baikunth, Swarg, Narak...etc, only He, so naturally all jeev atams will merge in Him, there is no alternative. But then , why to wait for that day? Who knows when will He choose to finish this creation? It maybe still be many millions of years... Only a fool will not mind staying until then, in this valley of pain and misery called creation. The Bani says: today is your time, today is your golden opportunity, te meditate and merge in Him, through His Shabad. Bhaee parapat manukh deh hureeya, Gobind milan kee yeh teree bareeya... Bahut janam vichurey teh Madao, ehe janam Tumhare lekhey .... Wahiguru has blessed us with comon sense, so let us not keep it locked in the cupboard, and make use of it, in order to merge in Him as you say, through His Bhakti and Grace. Things do not happen just like that, do not we go to the office to work , at schools to study and learn? So if at every step we put our will power, we put our sincere efforts, howcome, will we merge in Him just like that. If we stay idle and wait for things to happen, like merging in Him, then brother, maya kaal, vaasnas, are just waiting to hold a tight grip on us and keep us prisoners in this mayavee creation. Let us not just say Wahiguru bless me, for we are alraedy blessed, He has given us the human form, He has made us sit at the Lotus feet of our Guru Sahibans, Gurmukhs, from whom we have got the most beautiful and priceless Gurbani, to merge in Him at our own will, that is also His mahanta. Sat Sree Akal.
