  1. majority of these girls are from Bhangra loving, chicken& mutton loving, alchohol drinking, money worshipping modernist Punjabi families who failed to give their daughters gurmat and Sanskars(values) . When it ends up on forums, "Sikh" girls being groomed... Punjabis have totally failed at implanting love for Sikhi in their children....

  2. Why are we sometimes Happy, why are we sometimes sad. why do we feel like being talkative one day and on other days we don't want to say a word?? why do we sometimes feel depressed, Lonely and low on confidence when on other days we are full of confidence and energy?? Why do I have such low self esteem and am unable to make friends, talk to people and be popular. Why am I not liked by people who simply don't any opinion on me?? why am I being bullied?? Why do we sometimes feel jealous and envious of our friends, colleagues?? why do we feel that somethings is always missing and don't feel content with our life's?? Why don't we have a sense self of well being, motivation and passion. where is is the fire in our belly that says we want to conquer the world?? Why do we sometimes feel ambitious and at other times we just don't care? Can anyone answer the following above?? We are living in the most technologically advanced times. If our car breaks down we know how to fix it. but what about the above emotions if we experience these emotions how can we fix them?? If we have low self esteem, low confidence, low motivation, unhappy. How can we fix those issues?? are some people naturally happier then others and more confident. Is there nothing we can do about that? as the saying goes I am who I am and I cant change my personality or the way i feel. you either have it or you dont ect.. What would you chose in life a millions pounds or the power to recognize how your mind works and how to correct it what exactly is happening in hour heads that we can fix our emotional issues like the above??

  3. Can't believe a regular "Sri Darbar Sahib Hazoori Ragi" can go and turn their back towards Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee for a bit of cash and whatever other thrills these pakhandi babeh offer them... Nirmal needs to be summoned to the Akaal Takht and stripped of his title.

  4. If your not sikh, why on earth would you take part in such a big sikh ceremony? Why dont you guys have a jewish wedding aswel? your christian, he is of sikh background, neither of you are religious. Why make a mockery out of a religious ceremony? Have a civil ceremony, a party, whatever. Leave sacred religious acts out of it.

  7. This may have been the case thirty years ago, but today go to any nightclub on a weekend and you will see more so called sikh girls second only to whites and blacks and way more than any other asian or religious groups. Its like the bazars of ghazni only difference is that they have not been taken by force this time  .

  9. You got it exactly right. Gurmat Sanskars is lacking greatly. If one were to talk to the average girl belonging to a Sikh family today, one can't help but notice how much they have lost their sense of being a Sikh. Almost none of them see anything wrong in marrying a non Sikh. I remember not too long ago seeing a Sikh girl who posted on this forum who tried to say that it is actually a good thing if a Sikh girl marries a Muslim because then such a "Sikh" girl will teach her Muslim children about Sikhi and Gurus. Such gullibility is unseen among other Desi girls belonging to South Asian background.

  10. Yes, I'm sure this has nothing to do with the fact that a majority of Sikhs in general come from this community * rolls eyes *

  13. It also has to be noted that most of these cases we are hearing in the news come from one particular community of Sikhs. Ie their surnames such as Lali, Sanghera, Gill, Sandhu and so on seem to be from the Jat community. Im not saying this does not happen in other Sikh communities but from personal experience and from the various news headline about cases that have come to light in the media the majority seem to come from this community. As Sikhs are very segregated community its down to the leaders of each community to help their own so to speak. as Other Sikhs cant exactly help other Sikh commuinties as we dont mix with each other and have our own separate Sikh temples. What is the We need to find out a way of addressing this issue as a whole ie , Ramgharia, Bhatra Jatt ect. all these communities must come together its going to be difficult as we dont integrate with each other. But As someone who is from another Sikh community . Its very frustrating and heart breaking when I see fellow Sikhs from other communities who are being used and abused by Muslims. As has been mentioned alot of the cases stem from families that are divorced or vulnerable and that when these predators strike. They specifically look for Sikh girls where they dont have a good family foundation as its easier for them to get them to manipulate and isolate them.

  14. This video explains it: Also since you're a Christian, the Bible says something about being unevenly yoked,of course you could just become a Sikh. Interfaith marriages only cause confusion, both of you should accept Christianity or Sikhi, it's much easier that way.

  17. Cisco is spot on. Two issues, one is grooming and the second is love jihad. Victims of grooming are always young girls about 17 and under while victims of love Jihad are almost always young women usually 17 and older. Main reason for Sikhs falling victims to this is because we have broken away from Gurbani. From a young age a child needs to be connected to Gurbani, get a Santhiya Ustad to teach them Gurbani, reward them for memorizing Gurbani and reading Gurbani daily. Gurbani is our Guru, so by connecting them with Gurbani at a young age you will also inadvertently connect their heart and minds with their Guru and Sikhi. So far all we are doing since childhood is just teaching children to go to Gurdwara and Matha tek, that's not enough. By the time a child is 10 years old, they should become fully Nitnemi. A Sikh girl who is fully Nitnemi and is able to read Gurbani is less likely to become a victim of Love Jihad and grooming. Our boys are also becoming weaklings. Every Gurdwara should have a small gym which will encourage our boys and men to work out instead of allowing their tids to grow. And this isn't really that expensive considering the huge amount of bank balance each Gurdwara keeps. Connect the boys to martial banis of Dasam Granth. Basics of Sikhi is doing a good job in presenting Sikhi.

  18. First of all whatever your conditions or current symptoms they are not permanent. So dont worry. I also dont usually give this information to anyone. only to fellow Sikhs. Yep due to the modern lifestyle that people lead. Most people have deep emotional problems. such as depression, low confidence ect. Any kind of addiction you have is going to unbalance your chemicals. At net addiction is a growing concern. As i said I dont want to discuss personal issues on here. but if you prefer i can discuss with you here. Not Prozac That was just the definition. Im talking about diet and natural supplements.

If you are suffering from depression I know everything that will help you without medicine and their harmful side effects.infact by the time I am finished instead of depression I will make you the most happy person.

  20. It got so big because Pakis got so big. They own all the shops, they do all the benefits scams, they do all taxis at night, they do every illegal activity under the sky, tax evasion, money laundering, drug dealing, fraud. They are all related and well networked and hang around in gangs while Sikh boys have become a bunch of weaklings, Gurdwaras have become empty and Sikh girls all think they are Katrina Kaif. And now we take the head out of the sand when our beautiful sisters are left with gaping holes and permanent tattoo marks. I remind you all that Kabir says in Gurbani that that which happens to your neighbour will happen to you soon aswell. The amount of Pakis in the UK is just rising too too much and these people are islamic extremist and cunning people. I hate to say it and i hope it doesnt come true but whites and Sikhs aswell as others are becoming second class citizens. Kudos to the EDL who have raised a voice against this whilst Sikhs cant even discuss this in a Gurdwara and we cant look after our own people, our mentality is hatred towards each other. What behzti of the Sikh Quam that BBC has to do a documentary about Sikh girls being groomed and abused. What more behzti can there be that a girl is tricked and groomed into prostitution from the first day at a Nagar Keertan. There is gonna be a nagar keertan soon at Domeli Gurdwara - what arrangements have been made to protect the vulnerable. When are we gonna smarten up and think with our brains. We are seen as a community that like bhangra and dance around saying brroaaah!! Muslims see us as weak, and trust me i dont know about other areas but around the west midlands Muslim boys are a lot more tuff than Sikh boys and are hardened up. Our lot have just got it too easy. Well you know what Jesus once said? Your fortune is the cause of your misfortune. And that sums it up well. We've got too much wealth that has made us blind. I tell you this my own sister nearly got groomed by these guys and they had the audacity to meet her out side our home luckily my brother spotted something was wrong. She met a paki friend from college it was the beginning of something very sinister but we were lucky otherwise they would have had sex with her, took photos of her and then blackmailed her. Pakis need to be curtailed bigtime im getting so much problems from them they are looking to jump me, have a fight with me and i have had to leave my job because of pakis stressing me. Just today i was walking in Smethwick late and pakis were giving me dirty looks. Once i was stood on the street with my dad and some pakis drove past in a sprinter van shouting " i fucked your sister" These people eat tons of meat and then they become lustful dogs and prey on our girls. They use their female friends and cousins as honey trappers and lure naive and gullible people. I tell you we will be all working for pakis soon they will own everything, they are rising to the top in every field, law, nhs, teachers, schools, councils. There are so many of them they are involved in every industry.

  24. Meet Rehana, a Kurdish female fighter who has allegedly killed over 100 members of Islamic State (ISIS) during the fight over the town of Kobani. The fighter, known only as Rehana, was named in a tweet which has already been shared thousands of times since it was initially sent on 13 October. Journalist Pawan Durani tweeted a photo of Rehana and encouraged others to share it as well. Rehana has killed more than a hundred #ISIS terrorists in #Kobane, the photos caption reads. [Retweet] and make her famous for her bravery. Rumors are soaring that Rehana was possibly captured and killed by Islamic State militants, but the claim has yet to be confirmed. No matter what, Rehana has become truly a hero in social media, and fans are making sure that her bravery should not go unnoticed. Shes just one of many female Kurdish fighters. However, reports say that the news of Rehana's death and reports claiming she single-handedly killed over 100 ISIS jihadists cannot be independently verified. Many Kurdish women are known for their bravery and fighting skills after various reported incidents where they showed great strength while attacking the militants belonging to the dreaded Islamic State organisation. 25. First of all This thread is not about a personal issue I have or am going through at the moment. This thread I am sure everyone here can relate to and have experienced in their life whether they like to admit it or not. Some probably more then other sin terms of the severity of the feeling and emotions that I have listed. What you have done in your reply what a lot of people including doctors do. if a person went to a doctor with the above issues I have raised you would get a similar response such as what you have posted. such as 'pull yourself together' or other advice which is going to make zero impact on the person who is going through these feelings and will not help them to overcome their problems. the reason is doctors themselves don't know the answer. If you went to the doctor with a physical problem you would be sent for tests and given alot of help but when it comes to the mind they simply don't know the answer. Having studied psychology I know the answer. Its simply a matter of brain chemicals and hormones that make us feel like the way we do. if we have low self esteem its our chemical make up that is out of whack that needs to be rectified. The way we feel and all the emotions we experience feel come from the chemicals that circulate through our brain. if these chemicals known as neurotransmitters become unbalanced or deficient in some way we can start to feel a particular way. such as unhappy, depressed, low energy and basically all the symptoms I have mentioned above . Lets look at the main neurotransmitters of the brain. Serotonin is one neurotransmitter of many in the brain, this is the happy chemical this is what makes us feel good and happy. when a person has low serotonin he becomes depressed . doctors then give anti depressants to try and raise serotonin artificially to make a person happy. but this is impossible as we cannot alter the brain though medicine and the patients end up worse as they end up with lower serotonin in the long run. what I am trying to say if you are depressed or unhappy their is help that help is knowing these brain chemicals and how to alter them to become the medicine through natujral means and not medicine.

  26. Dear Big_ Tera, everything in life is karmas. Whatever you say is true, but, it is also true, that all our interactions in the world are false, in the sense that everybody is either creating karma or paying karma ..... Though I can understand, it is quite hard to go through all this, but remember that, one has not much to do with the world and its people. Take your present condition as a gift from the Lord. Maybe, He does not want you to get entangled in the world, but rather you devote yourself to Him...... and this can best be carried out, when one has not such a strong pull towards the world or from the world. Do not compare yourself with others. If you think you are right and good, why to worry about the impressions which the world has about you. The wicked world did not even spare higher beings, like our Guru Sahibans, like Kabir Sahib, like Christ who was nailed and crucified...... so then what or who are we, in the eyes of the world? Love and respect yourself, and be aware, He is there to be with you. Engage some time daily in bhajan bandagee, then all your so called shortcomings, will be changed by His kirpa into a blissful state, He is Truth, His name is the foundation of firm faith, inner peace, a balanced mind, and above all Love for His Lotus feet. Sat Sree Akal.

  27. VAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA, VAHEGURU JI KI FATEH First find out WHY you are falling. Is it that you are doing Sangat for a week and then not and find yourself falling when not in Sangat? Are you getting bored in Sangat and find your mind wandering? Are you enjoying the Sangat but not engaging in Sangat (what do you mean you do Sangat? Hang out or do Simran/Paath/Seva/Keertan)? The mind and body need to be engaged in the activities directly of the Sangat and not just be witnesses to it and get a good feeling by proxy. Sangat is a boosting effect and there are only two choices - either you have to find a way to be in Sangat continuously OR take what you learn from the Sangat and apply to your personal jeevan when you are not in Sangat. Personal Kamai is very important. Sangat teaches, inspires, uplifts and guides, but you must self-improve and move yourself forward through your own efforts. Otherwise, you really must immerse yourself in a situation where you are in Sangat almost every minute of the day. Gurbani tells each devotee to search the inner self, to do introspection and come to the true realization of who you truly are and abandon the duality veil of the ego. This is the objective. Nobody said it would be easy - Khaneo Tikhi, Valeo Nikki implies exactly that. Sikhi is simpler than other faiths, but that does not imply a walk in the park. Gursikhs beg and plead Guru Sahib every single day for Amritvela/Simran/Gurbani/Seva - and I mean plead (some with shaky voices and tears in their eyes). The Almighty made you and knows you better than you know yourself. Your job as a Sikh is to do Ardaas and give 110% every day - the Almighty's mauj is to bless you with Gurprasad when it is deemed appropriate. Why the game? You and I don't get to ask that question - it IS the game and it exists, you have to play it - Hukam Na Kehiya Jai. This is not a one shot deal - as you said, individuals come into this world with the good and bad karams and kamai of many lifetimes with them. There are obstacles and/or advantages built into every individual based on this past. Some excel and leave others wondering why - they come with kamai and blessings from previous births. Others struggle throughout their life to make small strides. Again, the Almighty knows all - like a parent, the Almighty sees the efforts, the commitment, the intent - those things count as well. Undeserving of the Almighty's love? That is not your choice. In fact, you have very little choice BUT to continue your Sikhi. You are Amritdhari - a Sant Siphai is your destination. You have sold YOUR HEAD to the Guru and you are NOT ENTITLED to choice. Feel whatever you want, but the Rehat given to you by the Punj Pyare is law and you will comply or face the consequences. Feel whatever you want and have that conversation with the Almighty - that is what Ardaas is for. It doesn't have to be a formal Ardaas, sit inside and talk to the Almighty - tell the Almighty what you feel, that you are trying and what you want. Everything you are going through, every hardship, every roadblock, is shaping you as an individual for the coming time. There are reasons for these adversities and roadblocks that will be of use to you in the future. Accepting this is VERY difficult and those who accept the Hukam of the Almighty with unconditional resolve are at a very high spiritual level. So yes, many Sikhs on the path are of similar feeling - they get down, they get frustrated. But you get up every single day and fight. Kaam Krodh Nagar Meh Sabla, NIT UTH UTH JOOJH KARIJAI. It is the job of every Sikh to get up and fight the Punj Vikaars every day. War is not 100% victory - it is battle after battle after battle until the enemy is crushed or surrenders. There will be losses in battle, but keep the war victory as your objective. Do a benti to the Gursikhs to do Ardaas for you and advise you. Do Ardaas for yourself every day. Do as much Sangat as possible. Gurbani is your guide, Simran is your duty and Seva can keep the body busy and tired enough that you don't have time to do anything else.
