Block 32 in Trilokpuri is well known whenever we talk about 1984. Around 500 Sikhs were massacred in just this one block in less than half an hour. However, it is also known that they put up a tough fight for the mob before the deceptive cops came and asked them to go back to their houses and also disarmed them. These Sikhs trusted the cops and the result is in front of us. In the neighboring block, the Sikhs refused to trust the police and were able to save themselves upto a better extent as compared to Block 32. A similar incident happened in Sarai Rohilla area of Delhi where the Gurdwara Sahib was attacked 8 times on a single day from morning to afternoon but each time the Sikhs pushed back the killer mobs. Khalsa ji, what have we learnt from this? What is our biggest weapon which our enemies fear and cannot fight? Its our UNITY! Sorry I do not have any strong rhetorical words as I am not a politician, but the evidence is right in front of you. Whenever we have been united and have put up a strong front, our enemies have been shocked. Whether it was Chamkaur Sahib, or Saragarhi, or the battle of Amritsar of June 1984, or some of these incidents of November 1984, they provide us a priceless lesson. UNITY! If these examples are old and outdated for you, no problem. Look what happened in March 2012. Bhai Rajoana was to be hanged on March 31st, 2012. Sikhs from all over the world UNITED for maybe a week or a little more than a week. The might of the united Sikh qaum was strong enough to make the Indian government put Bhai Rajoanas hanging on hold. I vividly remember how firmly ALL Sikhs came together and roared in one voice. THIS is EXACTLY what our enemies ALWAYS fear and ALWAYS try to damage, our UNITY! Now the truth is before your eyes. Stay UNITED! I agree we have several internal issues which we cannot resolve any time soon. It may take a good couple of generations to find a resolution to our internal issues. But please, take a lesson from our Misls, our ancestors who like normal human beings did have differences with each other over several issues, but when it came to the Panth, when it was about fighting the enemy, they all UNITED. Who do you think the 40 Singhs were at the battle of Chamkaur Sahib? They all came from different so-called castes and even different parts of what is today India! Sangat Ji, Many of you may have noticed or experienced this on a daily basis too - the attitude and comments from Muslim/Pakistani guys walking past you in the street - day or night. I'm pretty much sick of it (along with the majority no doubt). It seems to happen everyday. When walking somewhere I always get a Muslim guys deliberately barge into me or say "Kidha Paaji" or something stupid related to bhangra because I'm a Singh. I know there's no getting away from these people as they breed like rats no matter where in the UK you go. Earlier today I was happily walking home from the Gurdvara reciting Bani and again a Muslim guy shouts from ahead walking towards me "Oh Singh" in a daft voice and then changed direction on the footpath to come in front of me with his elbow sticking out to barge into me. I countered it by slightly moving as I seen it coming. I didn't say anything or look back as I was reciting Bani and didn't want krodh to get the better of me plus there were two of them and I'm not exactly a large person. These people burn at the site of us Singh's. They really need to be dealt with like we did in the praatan samah as the government seem to be afraid of them - if we stick together they can't exactly arrest the whole Sikh community! Have any of the sangat had similar (worse or not so worse) incidents and how do you deal with them? I know it may sound childish but there comes a point where enough is enough. As per media reports Ramesh Mals political secretary Inderjeet Singh added, He neither compared the Guru with anybody nor have any such intension. Weve already tendered an apology for the same. As per TOI a Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) member from Ambala, Harpal Singh Pali said he would take up the issue with Akal Takht. We have seen the video and it clearly suggests that Ramesh Mal disrespected the Guru Sahib and the Panth. We have called a meeting tomorrow and plan to take criminal action against him. A final decision shall be taken during the meeting of sangat Harpal Singh added. We dont blame the MLA for this. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Unfortunately, the majority of people on Topix do not have Waheguru's darshan. If you try and speak with a dog, do not be surprised if it barks at you... Your blood might boil, but do not bring yourself down to the dog's level... Instead lead by example and show the dog's of this world what it means to be in Waheguru's darshan. Pray, that one day these people will see the truth and lead better lives. A lot of young people on the Topix forum are not Sikhs (they may have Punjabi parents and/ or roots) and, unfortunately, do not have the right Guru to lead them, they are absorbed by - Haumai (self-centeredness) Kam (lust), Krodh (rage), Lobh (greed), Moh (attachment) and Ahankar (ego).

For over a decade heretic Gurcharan Jeonwala alongwith his missionary buddies like Dhundha, Sabhra , panthpreet etc had been spewing venom against sikh scriptures, our history and traditions in general and Bani of Dasam Granth sahib in particular. He was the man source of Darshan Ragi's blasphemic utterances. But time has caught with him.He is being exposed by his own friends on darshan ragi's site as an anti sikh to the core and a planted mole by RSS and agencies. Former Manchester City star Courtney Meppen-Walter has been freed from prison after serving an eight month sentence for causing the deaths of siblings Kulwant Singh, 31, and Ravel Kaur, 37, from Cheetham Hill, Manchester, in a high-speed car crash. But a letter which appears to have been written by the footballer during his time in prison has emerged in which he describes his sentence as 'just like having a four month injury'. The letter, which features incorrect spelling and grammar, reads: 'Bro You Wanna See How Skinny I have Gone look Sexy as **** (As Usual). Gone bone skinny and been hitting the gym, think I'm going to be going into modleing with this body when I'm out **** football HAHAHA.'(sic) The letter goes on to say: 'Yo its a minor being in here you know just like having a 4 month injury for me. Only 3 months left for me now, nice that!' The letter is understood to have been written in April, just over a month into his sentence and three months before his initial release. Sources close to the defender say he is now looking to find a new club in a bid to ‘get his life back on track’. But the family of the victims have criticised his release, claiming they don’t feel justice has been served. The former £1,000-a-week footballer was originally freed in July but was put back behind bars within 24 hours after prison service bosses realised he had been released by mistake. At the time, he had served just four months of a 16-month sentence for two counts of causing death by careless driving. The Ministry of Justice recently completed an investigation into how the blunder occurred but have not made their findings public. Blackley and Broughton MP Graham Stringer has now pledged to raise the case in Parliament, saying keeping details of the error secret would hit public confidence in the justice system. Following his release last week, Meppen-Walter, from Blackley, tweeted about watching his former team-mates thrash Norwich 7-0 at the Etihad Stadium and about his desire to put his prison sentence behind him. The death crash happened last September when Meppen-Walter was driving a £25,000 Mercedes Elegance CDI at nearly twice the speed limit. He had been to a shisha bar in Manchester with friends and was on his way home to get ready for a night out. His friends were travelling in convoy in a VW Golf and the two cars were ‘jockeying’ around for position – accelerating and swapping lanes. Witnesses said the cars were also slowing down, possibly for speed cameras, and their driving was erratic. Meppen-Walter’s vehicle ploughed into a red Nissan Micra, killing Mr Singh and Mrs Kaur. Mr Singh had been driving his sister and her children home from a Sikh temple and was due to return to collect his wife and their two children, aged one and three. He pulled out of a side road and into the path of the Mercedes, which was travelling at 56mph in a 30mph zone. Two teenage children in the back seat suffered serious injuries and had to be cut free from the mangled wreckage, but have since made a good recovery. It emerged the double tragedy occurred five months after Meppen-Walter was caught speeding at 54mph in another 30mph zone in Bury. The teenager, from Blackley, Manchester, pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving and was sentenced to 16 months behind bars and also banned from the roads for three years. The family is suing Meppen-Walter through Manchester solicitors Pannone LLP. In a statement issued by solicitor Deirdre Healy, from Pannone, Gawa Singh, the brother of Mr Singh and Ms Kaur, said: 'The sentence that Courtney Meppen-Walter has served is nothing compared to the loss that our family have suffered. It is not justice as we understand it. Two members of our family have died. It has torn our family apart and destroyed it.' An investigation into the blunder which saw Meppen-Walter originally released was completed last month. A Prison Service spokesman said: 'Releases in error are very rare and we take any incident extremely seriously. The teenager responsible for assaulting Joginder Singh in Trinity Street could now face new charges. Mr Singh, aged 80, of Cannon Park, died on Sunday. He had been pushed to the ground in Trinity Street on August 10. The incident was caught on camera and shown on the internet. Coral Millerchip, 19, has already admitted a charge of assault, and will be sentenced after a separate matter has been concluded. That hearing is likely to be subject to significant delays now that Mr Singh has passed away. Det Chief Insp Matt Markham from Coventry CID, said: “Following the assault Mr Singh was readmitted to hospital and was being treated for a diagnosed condition and at this stage it is unclear if that is directly connected with the assault.“ Our thoughts remain with the family and those affected by Mr Singh’s death and we will continue to work with CPS and the coroner to establish the cause of death.“ Specialist family liaison police officers have been appointed to liaise with Mr Singh’s next of kin and we will continue to support the family at this sad time. ”Mr Singh was reported to be “fighting for his life” when Millerchip first appeared in Coventry Magistrates Court in August. Well if you really want to meet Baba Jee, you should definetly give it an honest effort to do so. Who cares about other people not wanting you to meet them? Does Kaljug really want us to meet Gursikhs? Alternatively, you could find out when they are back at Harianbela and try meet them then, it's a lot easier that way. My nanake are at Chabbewal and it's easier because of that (2 min drive). Also makes it easier back home because they tend to have a bit more open time etc, down here in the UK they are here for perhaps just a few weeks and so much going in that tight space.
