  1. I have a question to die hard followers of EDL if tom edl start lobbying Hindu Right Wing factions such as shiv sena, rss, bjp and congress followers in UK against islamic fascism.. What you will do then? Surely that be some awkward conflict of interest moment for you guys as it will directly in clash course with sikh political interest and against overall sikh sidhant of doing dirty proxy war.. Will you still support them? Forget Edl we need KDL (Khalsa defence league) based on pure sikh sidhant - advait, nirbhaou, nirvair against fascist ideology of all kinds and forms not against limited to one specific group as fascism is global problem as it's human trait, many members of religious political groups are affected by it .

  2. Sikhs should neither endorse EDL or protest again them. Sikhs should be silent witness of whats happening in UK. Edl may have started as reaction of Islam fascism but they seem to have ulterior motives for white english country /same ideology of nazi KKK. They may be are much needed at this point to stop fight islamic fascism..iron can cut another iron. Sikhs should be neutral...I am thinking in overtime sikhs themselves need a group to raise voice against fascism of all kind (including hostile factions affecting their own)..we need our own "sikhs own make peace not war league" to win public opinion or exceed more credibility among masses..this is where gurbani tuk comes in, apply to all situations- Hindu anna turku kana dhohan tey giani siyana. ||

  3. The EDL also has Hindu and Jewish divisions and possibly after the Bodh Gaya bombing they might be working on setting up a Buddhist division! The reason there is a Sikh division and why Sikhs are getting involved in the EDL is that there is no youth organisation that I know of within our community which can organise the youth who see the mayhem that Muslims are getting up to in our communities. If there was a Sher-e-Punjab like there was in the 80s and 90s then our youth would gravitate towards them and not the EDL. Sikhs against the EDL are the worst type of moorakhs. They are an embarrassment to Sikhi.

  4. I'm up for that, As long as the money is ring fenced and not spent on projects in other countries. It would be good if everyone could contribute but I know a lot of members are students but even if 10% of the forum members contribute the that would still make a hefty amount able to make a real difference to the lives of the youth in Punjab. So over to Bhai Mehtab Singh and S1ngh and the other moderators. Maybe they could send a mass email to each forum member with a link to this thread or another specific thread asking for donations and work out a system to allow for members to donate either direct to Khalsa Aid for through an account held by the mods at this forum. I think too many times we read something about the threat to Sikhi, get outraged and make our comments but then that is the end. What we say here does not impact on the issue to any extent, however if we are able increase the donations to a charity working with the issue then together we can impact on that issue.

  5. I've seen two photos of people called Sikhs, none of whom have their kesh or dastaar. EDL are essentially neo-nazis and as Sikhs, we should be against them and not united with them.

  7. One thing we have learnt from history is that demographics really does matter in the modern age. The only reason why Punjab was partitioned in 47 is because Sikhs were a small minority of about 14%. After 47, Punjab was further partitioned this time by the seperatist Hindus by separating Himachal, Haryana, Chandigarh because again Sikh were a minority. Only Sikhs are the true defenders of their land. The other two communities i.e. Muslims, Hindus have only partitioned Punjab into small portions. Parchar of Sikhi which can improve our demographic situation is the only solution to our problem.

  8. SGPC does NOTHING for our qaum with their 600 crore annual budget. Singh Sabha movement managed to convert more Sikhs a century back with no such budget, imagine what we could do with 600 crores if it wasn't spent for personal benefits?

  10. Gay marriages have no place in a Gurdwara. Anand Karaj is only for a Sikh man and Sikh woman. If gays want to get married, they can find some other suitable way to register their marriage. But Gurdwara is not the place for this.

  12. It doesn't need to be an either or scenario. Working on strengthening the base by putting money into quality education, eradicating caste, conversion of non-Sikhs to Sikhi is a step towards Khalistan. The education of Sikhs will allow them to withstand the brainwashing and propaganda of the Indian media, Eradicating caste will create a sense of community and belonging for all Sikhs. Conversion of non-Sikhs to Sikhi will expand the land area that can potentially be a part of Khalistan. We need to follow the Jewish example. They created the idea of a Jewish state by buying up land from Arabs and setting up collective farms and communities made up of Jewish migrants from oppressed Jewish communities in Russia and Eastern Europe. The money for buying up the land came from rich Jews in Western Europe and the USA whilst the labour for these farms came from Eastern Europe. Had there not been the migration of Jews between 1880-1948 into Palestine then the Jewish state would still have been a dream now rather than a reality. We are actually in a much better position than the Jews were then. We have a majority in Punjab. The Arabs tried to stop the migration of Jews into Palestine even using violence but we would face no such thing. If the Punjabi farmer needs labour then we should have Sikh organisations encouraging those impoverished Sikhs like Sikligars, Vanjaras and new Sikh converts such as those from Madhya Pradesh to migrate to Punjab in order to stop the need for Bhaiya labour. With regard to education I think we should try our best to support the Akal Academies in Punjab. They are expanding at a good rate and not only is their education of a high quality but whenever one opens in a rural area then the amount of Keshdhari kids goes up. The ideal situation would for the failing education department of the Punjab government to be wound up and all the schools in Punjab to come under the management of the Kalghidhar trust that manages the Akal academies. This is one way to ensure that 90% of the next Sikh generation is Keshdhari and not Mona like it is now.

  13. Veerji You got some good ideas there. The SGPC is too corrupt to ever set up a charity as you suggested. The SGPC is just a glorified gurdwara committee which talks much but does very little. Only a takeover of the SGPC by Panthic minded individuals can lead to the SGPC being put back on track. Until then my suggestion is to avoid giving any money to this bloated corrupt organisation. If you are going to India then whenever you go darshan of a historic Gurdwara in Punjab then rather than matha tek rs 100 or rs 500 then just give rs 10 and the rest of the money you were going to matha tek, give it to an organisation that you know is doing positive work in Punjab. In this way rather than relying on the SGPC to use your money in the right manner, you have control over how your money is being spent.

  14. Everyone else whose posts I am reading on this thread and other threads gets it about what is going on and what is at stake here. The aim of our enemies is to make us a minority in Punjab within the next few years. So in order to combat this we need a comprehensive Panthic agenda about how to make Punjab and the Diaspora free of (in no particular order): 1. Drugs freely circulating (that true Sikhs are never seeing touching drugs despite the "party" reputation of some in our community) ... agressive tactics to be used against dealers and Alcohol free (there are too many songs promoting this poison and a Qaum on sharaab will always be weak in the main) ... persuasive health-based logic to be used prior to occasions of celebration and to slowly but slowly get the message across that sharaab is not acceptable even for sehajdhari Sikhs 2. Biraderi politics (all crooks wanting to control golaks for themselves need to be stopped and idiots arranging rishte by not following the don't ask + don't tell rule need to be exposed as the anti-Sikh dogs they are. Across-biraderi rishte need to be enforced in arranged marriages in order to end this divisive cancer killing our Qaum at the roots) 3. Abortion clinics killing girl children need to be agressively put out of business (but we don't need to go the trouble of bombing them like Americans do) 4. An all out campaign to make our Panth 100% literate, as a lot of the problems we face stem from lack of education. Voluntary seva by Diaspora youth to teach youth in Punjab can help re-inforce our links with Punjab and keep overseas youth grounded and away from western materialism, drugs, alcohol, depression etc. 5. An increase in free hospitals and drugs treatment centres so that poor poeple aren't forced to convert in order to get important life-saving operations or cancer treatment that should be rightfully done for free. 6. And end to the lie that all religions are equally beneficial to all of mankind. Amongst ourselves we need to agressively expose the disgusting livelihoods of prominent faith figures from the Abrahamic + Hindu religions. Obviously we can tone down the rhetoric if we are talking to a potential convert one on one on the street (particularly Hindu's who will provide the bulk of new members of the Panth). But on the internet we shouldn't be that sensitive as to hesitate from open and honest criticism of pedophiles and slaveowners and those who supposedly had virgin births. 7. Increasing acceptance of all within the community as Sikhs rather than us saying that 90% are no longer Sikhs. Not treating sehajdhari's as Hindu's as GOI wants. 8. Instead of concentrating on minor arguments about differences in various Rehats, or tables/chairs in Langar Hall or whether old saroops should be agan bhet or if girls are doing their eyebrows or guys wearing durags, we need to work out what our current priorities out of the above are and focus most of our attention on those. 9. We need to spread awareness of Bhai Mardana Ji's bravery as the first Sikh. If Bhai Mardana Ji could be so brave as to leave Islam at the threat of death, there is something seriously wrong if thousands of Sikhs are converting to Islam in order to financially benefit from the rewards the Saudi Arabian paymasters are promising. 10. We need one single SGPC charity in which the funds within cannot be accessed by Badal Dal. This charity's remit would be to maximise seva efforts globally. And then if we don't physically take part in pushing our Qaum forward then we have to contribute the maximum daswand towards this united SGPC Charity but in the meantime Khalsa Aid are doing a great job and we should contribute the maximum to their Educate Punjab Project to ensure our youth are mentally strong enough...

  17. I am pretty calm..the point was trying to make if you think there is an issue, be part of solution instead of whinning its quite simple. Gyani sher singh ji said the same thing, most of khalistani here talks big, whine and complain but when i ask them to go to india and make a difference..they have nothing to say. Also puratan singhs used to talk less and try their best to do their part- they were also very happy and content all the time as they were always in bhana of akaal purkh and gursikhi is all about celebrating spiritual life and do parchar and rest is left to akaal purkh hakum. I still don't understand what are the complaints? you are already mentioned you are not suggesting to pick up the sword..then what are the complaints about? Can you please list them in concise manner ? What things you are not happy with leader- in this case- dhandrianwale- as this thread is about him, and what would you like to see? and what are "you" doing about it to make it happen? are you walking the talk - correct the things you want in punjab or be another typical arm chair critic?

  19. Never said I am waiting for Sant ji that is something you made up. It is obvious you have nothing virtues to add to this discussion so you go on personal attacks to save your Babas. The Morcha was still going with Sant Baba Thakur Singh Ji Khalsa here. Just because no one told your Baba or told you doesn`t mean the Morcha was not going on. You won`t get no more information from me about this matter. What I have said is pretty much general knowledge. However the Sikh sangat is not even asking for a Dharam Yudh Morcha. They just want leaders which I listed to speak out about the Punjab police officer making a confession. Which Jathedar of any group has approached a court or the Punjab government. Many of the Babas followers were saying that leaders like Hari Singh Randhawa, Dhumma, Sant Samaj kept close relationships with Badal so they can influence Badals government to help Sikhs. Now Sikhs are calling on these leaders, but all we get is that it is not in Maharaj`s Hukam for 1984 victims to be helped. It`s in Maharaj`s Hukam for Dhumma to sit at the feet of Badal, but not Hukam to tell Badal here is the proof you were wanting from the Sikhs. The worst enemy of Sikhs are these agents among us acting as Sikhs. Darshan Ragi, Sarna, Dal Khalsa, etc have close ties with congress government. So use these close ties to get justice for 1984 victims and their families. But once again this side also has failed the Sikhs. Both sides yell at the top of their lungs for money, but now they are not even ready to give a political statement in favor of Sikhs.

  20. your friendships are based on karmic relationships of give and take between each other. when the karma is finished than the natural attraction of the friendship also finishes. let them go if need be. also, worlldy people, and even religious people, frequently don't want you to change b/c they have some sort of benefit from you remaining the same. if you change they lose that benefit. listen to your soul and you can't go wrong. you will make new friend.s

  21. veer ji, Guru ji's Hukam is that an Amritdhari can only marry another Amritdhari. Not marry someone, and then have them take Amrit afterwards. so be careful before getting in too deep. also, sikhs are not allowed to mess about before marriage, not even a little. Not saying that you're doing that btw, but gorian usually have different mindsets. Race and caste shouldn't be issues for Sikhs, unless you're thinking about them in terms of cultural compatibility.

  22. The concept of marriage is a religious concept where a man marrys a woman its quite clear in Sikh scriptures and in all other major world religions. These gay extremists have lobbied now for gay marriage being equal to heterosexual marriage which makes a mockery of the religious marriage institution. Gays who only make up less than 2% of the UK population whereas even muslims have a higher population of around 2-3% and have less rights than gays. It seems gays have slowly but surely infiltrated every institution of power in the UK particularly media and politics so that their rights triumph over religious rights. Marriage in civilization sense was created to safeguard the rights of women back in the days so that their needs would be looked after when they are found a suitable partner as they were not allowed to go out to work or vote or have a big say in how the affairs of the state was run. Since women were giving equal rights to earn money and live as they wish in most western societies and nations the decline of marriage and rise of divorces has been rapid. Marriage now has been eroded so much that it is seen as a dying institution which is leaving a devastating impact on well being of a socially cohesive society and kids of divorced parents often do not have any guidance left to fend for themselves in a confusing society of competing ideologies. And the passing of equal gay marriage only serves to further erode the marriage institution. This is not done by purpose for a greater goal of running society not by religious moral authority but by authority of corrupt bankster funded and run politicians and their govt who are the new priests of militant atheist secularist societies.

  23. Noo, do not submit your mind and make it a slave. Let it wander, let it work those things out. Satguru gave you rehat to live a good jeevan, let the shabad work out the problems in your life of man-mat and soon those things will fade and all that will be left is the path of satguru and the staircase to the path of gurmat. --- If you would doubt what Daas says, give other example. What is more important, jeevan affair or ignoring everything and being a hogi doing 'simran'. Well, let's say Sikhs are attacking do you join, or finish forcing your mind essentially cutting off your mind's fuel.

  25. Excellent points by everyone across this thread. Just wanted to give a different slant on small things that we might disagree on ... within our greater UNITY on all levels which is more important to the overall solution. Veerji i think that whilst that could be good in terms of activists to keep the tree huggers in check ... but when it comes down to general elections and assembly MLA elections we can't afford to split the Sikh vote further as within India we are 1.8% and in Punjab 60% (excluding the fall in that percentage for Abrahamic + Dera converts in this millenium) so we have to maybe use this strategically in isolated panchayat elections as independents only where conversions via bribery are taking place. See above re splitting the Sikh vote Veer. Re SGPC i'd like to see DSGMC merge with them and renewed as a new transparent Panthic organisation in the spirit of the Singh Sabha and Panthic heroes from the Akali Lehar of 1920's. Accountability and independence from Badal is the problem rather than concept of SGPC i feel. The best time to achieve this will be after Congress lose next year's General Election hopefully. I agree with most of what u actually say SikhKosh Veerji but the above statement absolutely most of all i think. Our mentality is so dumb that we can rebuild Mosques for those who voted for Pakistan and the inevitable Genocide of Sikhs that followed but we can't assist our fellow Sikhs who live stuck in miserable poverty without money for basic medicines. It makes my blood boil. Well said SikhKosh Veerji, all the pathetic side issues that we start fighting about in the presence of our Guru Sahib ... make us look like fools when our enemies don't care about our personal opinions when they burn Singhs alive and rape Kaurs to death. Unity within diversity is the way forward. Well said SikhKosh Veerji. If we look hard enough all Sikhs agree about 95% of matters but seem to focus on the 5% where we don't! All of this so-called Hindu and so-called Muslim nonsense is pure RSS and Mughal propaganada and we lap it up like dogs.

  28. I have no idea where this PC attitude of the Sikhs started. No where in Gurbani does it say all paths are the same. Historical sources say the Bhagats were Sikhs. Yet Sikhs of today like to preach all paths are equal and same and that all the Bhagats were Hindus and Muslims. If you tell them, they will get offended and say "how dare you say the Bhagats were Sikhs!" and I must say it is because of this attitude that we now have many singers of Sikh background promoting Islam through so called Sufi music. Example of these singers are Hans Raj Hans and Satinder Sirtaj

  29. Why do Sikhs love being politically correct tree lovers? Partial mistake is of the parchar that Sikhi teaches that all religions lead to God (lol) and the Bhagats (and Bhai Mardana) were Hindus and Muslims.

  30. conversion to Christianity is also very alarming in Punjab. The way Christians missionaries have been converting people in Punjab, if it were any other state in India, riots would have occurred. But due to the tolerant nature of Sikhs, no such riots have occurred in Punjab. If Sikhs do not do counter parchar against the Christian missionaries, soon we might very well find Sikhs becoming a minority in Punjab.

  31. I am no fan of RSS, however their chief Sudarshan was getting angry on Sikhs way back in 2005 for not speaking out against forcible conversions to Christianity in Punjab. Maybe extreme but the only steps taken against Christian missionaries were by right wing Hindus. I remember an incident where they attacked a chuch and put SGGS parkash (may sound funny, but its a deep conspiracy in itself, killing two birds with a stone, killing Christians and putting blame on Sikhs). I remember how newspapers would report how mosques are being rebuilt with Panchayats money and how the Sikhs were proud of it... However the same Sikhs can't help their own fellow Sikhs who are living below the poverty line.

  32. Shiv sena are clowns they cant do anything except cry and shout. They know islamification is a big problem as their idols would get smashed if punjab were to become a muslim majority state. The Sikhs are the only spiritual and physical force able to be a buffer between islam and hinduism if Sikhs are reduced in the coming years due to the covert sly missionary works of christians and muslims then islam will wipe hindus out from northern india.

He has organised many blood donation camps at many of his diwans; he has also initialised a hospital under the name of sant karam Singh charitable hospital. His parchaar has brought back sikhi to a lot of punjab as e does it in a clear and lamented way in order to make it understandable. 34. Its interesting that Shiv Sena and RSS are staying quiet on this, normally they do not hesitate to take an anti Muslim line. In fact the Shiv Sena in the Punjab is only making anti Sikh statements as they have put images ridiculing the Guru Sahibs on Facebook. We do have organisations that are supposed to defend the Sikhs , but as on the Genocide issues they have their cosy agreements with the state and central governments so keep their head down. Its time they were asked if they had dropped the role of defending Sikhs,

  36. When I was in punjab last year I noticed how many sufi make shift masjids contrusterd by bhaiya muslim migirants. Now this is a very dangerous issue for Sikhs because already a minority in the Indian Union. And hardly any Sikhs in pakistan or afghanistan because of the evil shadow of Islam. If any Sikh cares or loves his/her religion enough to want to avert a catastrophe then they must start to get militant against Islamic agenda. No more tree hugging Sikhs it has to be made quite explict to muslims in Punjab that no new masjids will allowed to be built and no conversions of Sikhs will be tolerated. In fact there needs to be a drive to convert the muslims of kashmir and punjab to Sikhism. The warning signs where there but no Sikh organisation of Punjab took it seriously thinking it would play on the communal card and now a killer of the Sikh youths muhammad azar alam is now grooming and converting impressionable young punjabi kids to the tyranny of Islam and on top of that he is building new masjids on holyland of Sikhs to rub further salt into our kaums wounds.

  37. Fully true. 1) Alot of Biharis, UPites migrants were Muslims. 2) Many mosques have been rebuilt in the last decade. 3) The once virtually empty mosque of Ludhiana has lakhs of <banned word filter activated> praying on Friday. 4) Gujjar invasion of Punjab, they are illegaly making settlements on lands. 5) Love Jihad (conversion of Sikh girls) has also started in Punjab; one case has been reported while others have gone unreported. 6) Huge cash of weapons was recovered from Jalandhar area in a Gujjar Dera some time back. 7) WikiLeaks reports of a report from the American Embassy that Muslims numbers are rising quickly in East Punjab and this will cause for problems in the future. When will we wake up?
    1 point
  38. It's not about the numbers. Muslims don't give two figs for the lakhs of Muslims who get killed in an earthquake or the Tsunami. It is the potential to create a fifth column of Muslims in the heartland of the Sikhs. To have a large number of Muslims able to cause havoc if there is another Indo-Pakistan war. The Punjab waqf board has an income of 202 million rupees. Giving 99,000 rupees to each of 480 would only be 23% of it's total income.

  39. Thanks for the replies Sangat Ji! I should point out that it isn't the fact that her skin is white that is making me have doubts, there are 2 other reasons: 1) I want to raise my kids to be Sikhs, so naturally I will be teaching them Punjabi. My GF does not speak Punjabi, so it would be hard to have a Punjabi-speaking environment at home. I want my future kids to be able to read/write Gurmukhi too, so they can read Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji without needing to use English translations. 2) My parents. I do not know how they will react to me bringing home a white girl. I am pretty sure they wouldn't be too happy though. But other than that, I could definitely see myself getting married to her in the future once we are done with Uni. She knows how seriously I take my Sikhi, and that I want to start a Sikh family in the future, so the fact that she has stuck around shows me that she is willing to (if we get married) bring the kids up as Sikhs, she would have no problem with it. @Ek_Sikh: Yeah I've seen keshdari guys go out with Hindu and Muslim girls too. I really don't know what it is, for some reason, the majority of apnea kuddiya don't have much respect for the turban and beard. There isn't much you can do about it though, I think that the kesh acts as a great filter to keep away immature girls who aren't long-term relationship material. This girl asked me out, so right away I knew that she cared about more than just appearances (although tbh, I consider myself to be a pretty good looking guy, not trying to brag lol), and she has proved me right over the past couple of weeks. I think that most keshdari guys who complain about girl problems are the ones that only go for Punjabi girls. The ones that will go for white/hindu/muslim/black/chinese etc... girls too know that there are plenty of chicks out there who will date them for who they are, lots of girls who actually respect a guy who stands up for his Sikhi, and a lot of them ain't Punjabi. @nanosecond: Yes I think she likes me for my values. Like I said, she doesn't go clubbing or get drunk or do drugs or anything of the sort. She is the kind of girl who focuses on her studies, volunteers with charities and organizes food drives. She told me how much of a relief it was for her to meet a guy who actually shared her straight edge lifestyle and drive to do sewa (although she doesn't call it that obviously). I have been told over and over again throughout my life by girls that the most attractive trait in a guy is for him to stand up for what he believes in. Kesh is a symbol that you believe in Sikhi values of selfless service, equality of all mankind, no drugs/alcohol, fighting against injustice etc... a guy that cuts his hair for girls is pathetic. If a guy cuts his hair to win over a girl, I'd bet my life that the girl is going to end up dumping him in the future, because if she can make you give up your Sikhi, she knows she can make you do anything she wants, and she will lose all respect for you. And a girl who does not respect you is a girl who won't stay with you. Real men, pioneers, leaders, do not care what the world throws at them, they stand tall in the face of all adversity and never throw away what they believe in, for that would be the death of their soul. It is for this reason that I have decided that I would rather remain single for the rest of my life than cut my hair to try and get with some immature girl. Thankfully, it doesn't seem like I will have to do that I am sorry about your situation, I hope things work out for you, you sound like a really nice guy and deserve happiness

  44. This is a serious issue. Sikhs need to finally open up their eyes to what is going on. Sikhs converting to Christianity and now Islam! what is going on? What can we do do counter this? any ideas?

  45. 3HO promotes openly manmat act are okay to be committed. They have developed a rehat which is manmat. Taksal Rehat comes straight from Satguru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji Maharaj. Taksal Jathedars do not promote manmat acts. 3HO leader and current leaders openly promote manmat acts. 3HO current leaders do not even know how to read Gurbani in Gurmukhi. Only a cunning person would put both groups in the same boat. 3HO are rotten from the roots, where Taksal is started from Satguru and carried on by Gurmukhs. There is a huge difference here. 3HO leaders women worship at the feet of idols along with the leader while Taksal leaders women worship the one and only Satguru. Taksal leaders women meditate on Shabad Guru, while 3HO leaders women practice and teach others how to do yoga before a stone idol. Does it matter which jatha the OP claims to be part of? Many youth today claim to be part of Taksal, but they do not show one quality that says they are from Taksal. Tying a round dastar does not make a person from the Taksal. 3HO were brought into this thread because it is obvious the OP has been influenced by them and their twisted beliefs.

  47. When one gets born, mind which is also ones personality slows its vibration down from spiritual to physical world to create matter which we see as body(us). As ones mind changes matter vibrates as to denser or lighter matter . We pick up vibrations of others. You attract or repel people in your life based on your mind vibrations. Spiritual mind is inward, gross mind is outward, you are in transition, you may not want to leave the outward illusion seem to be fun more familiar world for inner soul world. Stick with inner in the long run its more rewarding.

  49. 1. Yes Uggi wale Veer a horrific 25% of Sikhs in Pakistan were killed in 1947. The other 75% were ethnically cleansed out of Pakistan. It should be added that Sikhs will never condone the suffering of innocent Muslims from Uggi pind in Jalandhar district or any other village being treated badly in the mayhem of 1947 when the Muslims League wanted to again eradicate the Sikh Qaum. However, those that actively demanded and voted for Pakistan (which left Sikhs as the main losers - as some often refer to us as) should rightly have been free to go to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan founded by a pork-eating, wine-swilling scoundrel like that Muslim Rajput called Jinnah and his sidekick the Punjabi Muslim Brahmin Iqbal. 2. Multiple sources. As you know academic research generally ranges from between 750,000 to 1.5million innocent deaths as a result of the Muslim demand for Pakistan and Partition and the Muslim League's employment of terrorist jihad tactics in order to achieve that objective and an ethnically cleansed state only for the supposed "master race" (=Ummah as described in the Quran). Around a million and half Sikhs lived in Pakistan in 1947. Given that it's widely acknowledged that at least 25-35% of the victims of partition were Sikh despite our percentage of the Punjabi population being more like 13% then it's clear the Sikh Panth suffered the horrific Genocide of around 25% of our people in Pakistan. Of course the 1947 Pakistani Genocide of Sikhs was not anywhere near as bad as earlier holocausts in which 50% and more of the Sikh Panth was killed off by Muslims. But victims of genocide are all equal and any honest Sikh will always condemn the suffering of innocent Muslims from Uggi or elsewhere in Punjab in 1947. Sadly when the Muslim League fanatics attacked Sikhs with a view to ethnically cleansing us out of Mahja, Malwa and Doaba as had been effectively achieved on the other side of the partition-designated border line they miscalculated and underestimated Sikhs. Even though Punjabi Muslims were more numerous than Sikhs in many areas like Amritsar, in a one on one situation (or a fair battle) Sikhs never retreat, Sikhs never surrender and Sikhs never come out as losers (should weaponry on both sides be equal). 3. True. American Christian missionaries bribing poor Sikhs to convert for financial gain is despicable. Luckily local Punjabi Muslims who stayed behind after 1947 - notably in the example of Malerkotla where Muslims are a majority - have enough knowledge of Sikhi to know that no significant numbers of normal Sikhs (who are not under severe financial pressure) will ever convert out of Sikhi given the ideology of Muhammad that Islam represents. All Abrahamic cults are dangerous but i agree with you in East Punjab, Sikhs should be most wary of American missionaries and to a lesser Wahhabist infiltrators. 4. Whilst you are correct on that, in isolation that will achieve nothing for Sikhs. Sikhs already have the lowest population growth rates in India because Sikhs are the richest community out of Hindu's, Sikhs, Muslims and Christians. Also East Punjab has a very high population density meaning there is an upper limit to population growth there. The Sikh community will only grow primarily from decent people whose parents are non-Sikh, who have faith in one God and want to see a society of justice, peace and brotherhood joining it. Fundamentally, there's nothing disqualifying you as our Punjabi veer from following in the esteemed footsteps of Bhai Mardana Ji but even if you don't all of the Sangat here will wish you a blessed Ramadan very soon. You know what I strongly and openly oppose but it's never personal against you as we all realise how difficult it must be for a person (who personally might oppose slavery or pedophilia) to become an apostate from Islam.
