Fateh to all. I am very curious in this matter which i am about to propose infront of you, the beautiful sangat. I would like to join sikhi one day but this is damaging the barrier with my parents. If i was to join sikhi i would have to abandon my parents, and they wouldnt go to my wedding or ever talk or even acknowledge me again. So the question which is causing me some stress needless to say is "Do i respect my family's choice by not converting to Sikhi or do i joing the path?" I have heard about respecting your parents and but then again Vaaheguroo is our father, mother... So what do i do? Many thanks and ill be greatful for your input :TH:

Accidentally ate beef

My dad brought me some tacos from taco bell and one of them was a shell taco. He said it was fully vegetarian with no meat and it had beans instead of beans. After I hate 3 of them, I doubted that this kind of "beans" is meat. So I went on the Taco Bell menu online and saw the same exact picture of the food I was eating and it said "Soft beef". I got really scared and tried to throw up all of the meat inside of me and now I feel guilty. Guru sahib is very mad at me. I am also an amritdhari sikh. I don't know what to do in this kind of situation and I'm not fully sure if its beef or beans. Please help me out and what should I do to get the love of my Guru back!? PLEASE....…

Sat sri akaal everyone. There is this girl that i have been friends with for a long time, since childhood and a few yeras back me and her got into a silly little relationship. it didnt work out. But i went off the rails and began to do stupid things. Now, obviously she knows im sikh and she went to my local gurdwara ( she not sikh) but she has some sikh friends and one had an akand paath, so she attended. I know that she had been telling her sikh friends things about me whilst in the gurdwara, like spreading rumors and telling her friends my name, like she was almost bragging about how i went off the rails bcoz of her, so she was telling stuff about me, so that people…

Pardeep Attri The first step in liquidating a people is to erase its memory. Destroy its books, its culture, its history, Then have somebody write new books, manufacture a new culture, invent a new history. Before long the nation will begin to forget what it is and what it was. The world around it will forget even faster. The struggle of man against power is the struggle of memory against forgetting. - Milan Kundera. In the month June 2012, the Government of Punjab announced that it will set up a 'cow memorial' at a factory site in Joga town, Mansa District, where recovery of cow carcasses had sparked off riots. And a day after announcing a 'cow memorial', the Badal G…

WJKK, WJKF Do any of you guys remember a singh from Reuben singh from Manchester/Cheshire? He was well known in the 90's up to around 2006 because he was a big millionnaire. Back in those days, he used to bring loads of Ragi's to U.K with Jaswinder Kohli but Kohli stopped because due to charity work in India. Anyway I was just asking, what is he doing now because I heard he got bankcrupt (which is also on wikipedia) but that was 5 years ago or so. P.S I remembered him as I saw him at Manchester Gurdwara where Sant Baba Ranjit Singh Dhadiran Wale was doing a diwan and he was the one who drove baba ji to the Gurdwara in a royals royce...lol

VJKK VJKF Dear All an organisation called Trees For Cities (T4C) is doing brilliant work in and around London. My husband and I went to support them last week only to find that members of Dera Sacha Sauda were there with a stall set up and literally a ton of volunteers all clad in exclusive DSS gear to help with the tree planting. Since I wrote to the organisers to explain who and what DSS stood for and wanted to know what their affiliation with T4C is, I also went into a bit of detail regarding DSS. Attached is their response. Does anyone have any substantial evidence/links I can share with them? A random DSS search results in that twat prancing around on stag…

Who am I?
by Guest Raj- 8 replies

I was born in a family where my father called himself a sahajdhari Sikh. My nanaji knew Guru Granth Sahib Ji by heart and predicted his and my nani's time of death. I was told that from our families, the first son was dedicated to the Guru in olden times and that he would become a keshdhari Sikh. Whenever I was sick in my childhood, Sukhmani Sahib was recited by my mother, which she knew by heart. I went to Bangla Sahib to bathe in the sarovar and drank the holy water, which made me well again. I have grown up in this family where some of my cousins are Sikhs. I could not believe what I heard in an audio message today that Navjot Singh Sidhu is not a Sikh because he …

Recently Gurdwaras in New Jersey, USA area have been taken over by politics and politicians, allowing anti-dasam bani people to take have a great say.
