So... I have recently been alot depressed. Everyday when I ask my friends to come out with me they are with their girlfriends etc, even my childhood friends dumbs me for a girl company. I feel so alone. For a some reason none of girls around me never get interested on me. Somereason they always give their look on guys who are "egoists" and get drunk every friday, speaks dirty etc.... In my own opinion I dont look bad from the outside, I could consider myself to be pretty "handsome". but still girls never give me a look. Is there something wrong with me? how to find love? where to find love? how to maintain the loving mood? I have also hard times trusting on girls, I got…

Wjkk Wjkf Is it true.. that specific pauris and gurubanis have specific effects and powers.. For instance it says that if you read the 25th pauri you will obtain wealth, need , virtue , estate .. or pauri 33 which supposedly elimates your karmas, or 38 gives you the knowledge and power to write your own destiny.. And jaap sahib; rouses your soul and allows you to obtain ridi sidi powers... So do specific banis and or specific pauris have such an effect, or should we just mediate on God and ask him for whatever we need? The effect of pauri and banis was written by yogis bhajan Singh.. aren't Sikhs against yogis and thier ways? So is he correct in what he says abo…

Ruth shick montgomery (1912-2001).A well known author of america .Information about her can be accessed from wikipedia . I would recommend to read any of her book which can be ordered online from amazon or flipkart .She goes into detail in the concepts of reincarnation, afterlife, change of age and many other spiritual topics.Ruth was an automatic writer and conveyed information which was given to her by guides.

Uk Gurdwaras - Should We Give Them Money?
by Guest New Topic- 6 replies

The UK gurdwaras constantly ask sikhs for dasvand (10% of earnings) money. At the same time the gurdwaras and sikh organisations like BOSS claim money from the government for 'community' projects. Often they supply the government with fake receipts that are 'building' their community. None in my opinion are beneficial - is having BOSS posters really going to help you progress? Most gurdwara leaders do this to get prizes like OBE. The government is keen for 'ethinic' communities to get rid of problems like lack of education, lack of skills, integration issues and therefore they view the gurdwaras (with their mass sheep followings) as the solution to 'reach out' and educat…

I fail to wake at amrit vela, resulting in not doing nitnem paath or simran in the early hours of the morning. I feel like my sikhi saroop isn't there, which makes me feel 'dead whilst yet alive..' I set a routine and slowly it works and then something gets in the way, resulting to failure again. I haven't been consistent with amrit vela, some days are better than others but I feel like I'm sinning. Does this mean I will have to go to pesh to ask for forgiveness as I've initially broken a vow to guru sahib of not waking at amrit vela and doing nitnem bani.. Please any advice would be helpful. Hello everyone, I came across this site today and found it helpful by reading questions, but I couldn't help but ask (I am a sikh) If you are a sikh but don't wear turban/ 5k's does that mean your not a sikh? And, for the past few days I have been having trouble praying, since I rarely have time as studies, work and life get in the way is it alright just to have a conversation with God? What happens if God doesn't respond? Anyways, sorry for a lot of questions but I am a lost 16 yr old just trying to understand my faith in more detail. I have always been a Sikh but only started understanding the religion a bit now. Thank you.
