Now Whenever I think of going gurudwara and I think that I will get some good sikh girl over there. When I think this way this thought really gives me bizzare feeling...

If you have done kaami things in the past and then later on u decided to take amrit. does that mean that when you take amrit the kaami things you have done in the past are 'washed' away and are forgiven and it doesnt matter now??? does it mean also that you dont need to tell your future partner bout the kaami things either? (admin please allow this as i need answers asap and theres no one to talk to) mod note: topic has been allowed, but has been edited to ensure suitable viewing for all.

WJKK WJKF Sangat Ji, I just entered the working world recently at a super market and one of my duties is to collect shopping carts from outside of the store and to bring them inside. The the thing is I frequently find money left in the carts ($1) and normally I use it to buy a pop or something at break. I asked some of the other workers and they do it to. I was just wondering though is it wrong to use this money or not? I would like to your opinions. Thx. WJKK WJKF

Hi Me and My family r very cool and own a dyson vacuum. how it work is... the vacuum sucks up dust, but there is a roller brush on the floor as shown in the picture which forms part of the bottom of the vaccum. (this flicks up dust for the vaccuum to suck in). I notice that every 3 or 4 months the roller gets jammed because large amounts of hair clog up the roller and prevent the roller from spinning. to tackle this, the roller has to be removed from the vaccuum and the hair has to be cut from the roller. i've even tried ripping the hair off the roller, but this still breaks the hairs. i know this because my ears hear a snapping noise... similar to that from the rice …

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fatehi, ok, i went on discoversikhi forun the other day to find a topic that was doing nindya of sikh student camp including the sevadaars and how they behave. i have previously read many other topics related to this.......all of which continue to have a negative attitude towards sikh student camp now i have seen all the related videos that potentially make others believe the camp is bad.........and i know how they must feel. however, having been to the camp twice and getting involved with some of the work there i must admit, saying things that are just purely negative against the camp is wrong. i have found this video of sikhi camp…

Getting Engaged Early Has Become A Trend These Days. 1 2 3

i have noticed that many people (youth) especially in the united kingdom have been getting engaged at a very early age, When there is no need, times have changed. i just think people are not mature enough to make these decisions these days, and problems arise from this. Some people i know think they are even old enough to become a bachola, it has become a joke to some people. why hurry?... 18 especially, it is too young, then you would have a long engagement, its just too long, why do people feel the need they need to engage and marry at such a young age? i think it is all to do with excitement, and they want to make something of themselves, but thats not the way to do …

Waheguru ji, I am three monthes prgegnant (13 weeks) I went to the fairgroung recently and rode on the one ride i assumed safe, the smooth slightly fast twister, doesnt go up down or <banned word filter activated>. I felt a little wired after the ride, panicky, shaky but not in any physical pain. Did not sleep the whole night, my partner obviouly upset too. No obvious signs of something wrong with my unborn baby, but terrified and really upset with myself. Can anyone help, had a similar experience, advice, thanks

General Question About Religion/sikhi..
by Guest Confusedmayer- 5 replies

The only things that I have never understood about religion are the following 1 - How can people from Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism all be sent to the same heaven, because the first two believe in an eternal heaven/hell and the last two believe in reincarnation? If all the religions were divinely inspired wouldn't they all preach the same thing about the after life? 2 - Did people who worshipped Zeus and the other Greek Gods have a chance at getting to heaven? These are serious questions and I would just like some clarification, thanks
