I would like to point out very politely and give Sikh Stuff website an opportunity to 'fix' this problem: http://sikhstuff.com/product.php?id_product=38 PLEASE don't put Satguru in 'boxes' - Gutke Sahibs/Pothian Sahibs should NEVER be in such conditions - no matter 'HOW' nice the box looks - our Guru Ji are hajar najar. PLEASE remove such item from you beautiful website and NEVER sell such a item. Dassan Daas,

The greatest love story ever written
by Guest Guest- 4 replies

If you wish to know of the greatest love story ever written, look no further than Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj. You will only find one type of love accounted for in this wondrous Saroop, the account of Unconditional Love. This Unconditional Love caused the 1st Guru of the Sikhs to journey over 1000KM by foot to spread the ethos of Unconditional Love. This Unconditional Love caused a great martyr who was put under horrendous torture of sitting on hot plates and have boiling hot sand poured over them to utter “Tera Kiya Mitha Lage” - Your actions seem so sweet to me. This Unconditional Love allowed a father to sacrifice his mother, his father and his fou…

Letters to God?
by Guest GKAUR- 4 replies
Hi All, Is writing a letter to God still praying? Is this ok in Sikhi? Writing seems a bit more personal. Sometimes its easier to write your feelings down as sometimes going to the Gurdwara can be an emotional experience and things I want to say can be forgotten.

by Guest GuptS- 11 replies

WJKK WJKF, I would like to reach out to my learned brothers and sisters on this site and humbly request your advice on the following situation. I recently had surgery on my stomach. The procedure was laproscopic (5 small holes in my abdomen). In the pre surgery meeting i had requested that no hair be removed. However, after the surgery, i found that the surgeon had removed some hair on my abdomen in order to do the surgery. I have spoken to a number of senior Singhs, one says that I must pesh as a kurheit has been committed although not intentional and that i have to retake amrit. The others say there is no need to pesh as it was not intentional and that i should do ar…

I once had a dream, short one, remember only bits.... I was in this huge hall, there was gold everywhere, the walls, the floors, the the huge cavernous ceilings. The hall was packed with Singhs and Singhnees all running around having fun. There were multicolored gatka Chakrees being spun, people playing gatka, and I say playing not learning shastar vidya because it was like a festival. There was only anand, not meditative but just pure happiness, joyous, bubbling. Everything was so colourful so amazingly vibrant, khalsa orange and blue all mixing with the gold background. I sat down in front of a vaja, with some people as well i think, and just started playing. I've nev…
