Waheguru Ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh. My question is how do i do simran at Work? I really want to spend my work hours remembering the name, at least say satnam Waheguru, but often times, work is so stressful that i am influenced by the events and forget to take his name. Everyday i get frustrated that i could not do simran properly because i was caught up in the events. Why is it not working for me. It is actually making me more stressful than my work problems.

I am hearing a lot of adverts with KS Makhan performing at these mela type events along with others. I have read that a sirgum is an amritdhari who has cut their hair. And a sirgum is to be avoided like meenas, masands, dheermalias, ramraiyas etc. Of course a sirgum may retake pahul. Should sikhs not collectively ban such personalities, or at least distance ourselves. I know these are panjabi cultural events, but there should be some collective sikh avoidance and the ban of being around sirgum should be made more public and taken m ore seriously by panth!

- Agriculture is no longer the dominant industry in Punjab. The dominant industry is surely IELTS test prep. Seriously, everywhere I looked, in every village or town or roadside, there were advertisements or offices for services to assist with IELTS prep, obtaining a study visa, etc. It is impossible to overstate how obsessed the typical Punjabi is with going abroad. - It is extremely rare to come across a Sikh man with an untrimmed beard that is not gray or white. Basically everywhere I went, I was the only person with an untrimmed beard who wasn't a bajurg. - While I expected the lack of young Singhs based on my last visit, this time I noticed a conspicuous la…

Avtar Singh Khanda (dead-natural circumstances but theres speculation he was poisoned) 4. Amanpreet Singh Samra (shot) Just stay safe out there.

Just had this poster passed around amongst Sangat in the Midlands and Up North... Not sure how this has been allowed to happen and continue? Are there any actual active Panthic Sikhs or groups in Southall, Slough, Wembley, Ilford, Hounslow etc? Why the wait for a protest? Why are we not just going in as previous dialogue methods have failed? Any context would be great as we had a similar issue in Birmingham once and nobody waited for an organised protest. We are looking to drive up tonight, but not entirely sure why local Sikhs are waiting?

I think this is well worth watching. Note that the subject of the documentary is an academic and not some pot head.
